• Problem with the dashboard Date invites

  I have a date field that I would like to filter, but the problem is I want to enter the start and end date in 2 variables which I can use it in my report. I tried to use between it funtion of the dash prompt, but it does not allow you to enter the start and end date. Then I tried to use 2 limes for start date and end date, but the guest does not allow me to add the same column twice. Can someone please help me because the way in which we can enter the values of some variables?

  I don't know why you can't apply normal filter on your ABC column instead of the filter inside your fx ...

  1. you implement security at the level of data in the repository file (SPR).   I have attached my entire project, including the error messages that I receive. I have my labview VI to put in place to have 3 different screws. My entries, my global entries and my "side". I created my web server and all the controls and indicators that I linked. However, when I try and run the dashboard of data project, all my indicators have error signals indicating that he "could not connect to the server. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas?

  The reason why this does not work, it's that your web service code is not quite structured reason. When you call a web method in LabVIEW it does is run the VI related to this method. In your case you have mapped to the URL http://host:8080/FINALCOAST/COAST.vi SIDE, and then you have a poller to web service linked to this URL. When you run your dashboard the poller accesses this URL, which causes the web server of LabVIEW run COAST.vi. If you look at COAST.vi, however, you will notice that what he does is run a loop that runs until the stop button is pressed. Is not supposed for a web method. He has no one to press the stop button. In fact, there is no user interface for anyone to interact with at all. This means that COAST.vi will work forever. Finally, data dashboard gave up and closes the connection because it should not take long for the web server that responds.

  So what is the correct way? It depends on what you're trying to do. In your case, it seems that you take just a bunch of inputs, do some calculcations and producing a bunch of outputs. You could do that in a VI with the method of a web that has just a bunch a bunch of outputs and inputs. In this case, you use just a web service calling (button) connected to one of the methods. Because this method has two inputs and outputs, you will get two entry and exit of Terminal ornaments around the button that you can use to connect to your commands (entered) and indicators (outputs). When you press the button it brings together the current values of the controls and those on the server to use as inputs to call your VI sends, and then he retrieves the results from the server and puts them in your indicators. In my example attached (see the file updated the dashboard) I show you how to do this. Note that I also modified the code of VI to create a Subvi for calculation of Basic code, and it is this VI which is used for the web service. This VI has no loop in him, so he just runs once with data values and returns the results.

  If you want to rather than having a continuous process that is continually measures your system in real time you need another way to access this data from a web service. It seems that that's what you were trying to do here, even if you use data in real time. Suppose that you were, however. In this case, you were a little close, but we need to make some changes. Globals allow you to share data between the screws running in the same process, but web services actually run in a process completely separate (in the web server), so you'll need something else. A drop-in substitute would be shared network Variables. You'll see that in annex changed code I replaced your globals with shared variables. Then in your web service if you just use the same shared variables. Network shared Variables allow you to share data between processes (even on machines on the network) so that you can easily access the same data to both your VI running and your web service screw I modified your COAST.vi for this (and he calls the same Subvi from the calculation of the kernel).

  In this case, you could do just a single method "inputs" and only one "exits" method, but it might be better to break up to the less distinct modes which include the strongly bound values just to make things a little neater. It can be tedious to deal with a large number of terminals.

  Alternatively, once you use shared variables you has actually connect your controls and indicators on the dashboard of data directly to these shared variables. This has the disadvantage of requiring more ports to be open through your firewall (and you can not use security as you can do with web services), but for the use of internal network, it is easier to implement. To do this, just run your VI as before, and then as soon as it runs you can select each control or indicator in the dashboard of data, press the small button below, choose 'Shared Variables' and look for your variables on your machine. In this case, each control is directly bound to the variable, and so there is no need of a button. Changes that you make in the dashboard data are immediately placed on the server through the variable sared, and your VI (which is still running until you press stop) will see the new value, update the outputs and then repel these new values to the dashboard of data via other shared variables.

  I did not create a dashboard for the last two approaches, but if you may not know what I'm talking about, then I can create examples for those as well. The screw and the project must be configured to work in any case, if the only difference is in the configuration of the dashboard.

  The rate of updating the dashboard data for 1.0 is set to 1 second of webservices and 0.2 second for variable network shared, of course depends on the amount of information on the network continuously.   So I use Jdeveloper11g.
  
  I have a question where I have 2 tables, shops and rooms. Rooms now has a foreign key StoreId, which corresponds to the primary ID of stores and they are connected in a relationship 1 to many. Now I have over 600 stores. And only 2 have all the pieces that were (the building which is not even a main store in most of the rooms). The rest are not, but what I need is to assign to each store with the same name room1 1 room.
  
  So the name would be the same, the primary key could get it I hope some sequences, but the foreign key ID, that StoreID field would have to change and insert for each store.
  
  Is there a way to query sql for this type? Any means which is not manually create a 1 room, then assign to 1 store and repeating the process 600 times?

  I created a command prompt and analysis (graphical report) and placed together on a single page.
  When I open the dashboard, it quickly shows at the top of the page, then the chart report.
  When I break into the chart report, it refreshes the page and now the disapppears invite (high section of the whole page).
  Is their a way where I can keep the fast section when drilling?

  You have the report and the prompt in the same section. Put the guest in its own section. Then use "drill in place" for the report in its own section under the section with the command prompt. Now, in the case of the forest down, the guest will remain.

• How to get the default date in the dashboard invites you

  I want to just pick two default dates on the guests of dashboard.
  
  These two dates would be the last day of the last day of this quarter and last quarter.

  Well there you go. You have to put something in for 'table.column'. I've only used because that I don't ' know the columns in your area. If you need get a column of your dw.credit_subject_area and put it instead of 'table.column '.

  This is why it is important to show what you did and not to assume that you did what asked the suggestion. Try again.

  Look in the administration - view session management to see what SQL is produced by the command prompt, this should help you identify the problem. You can take SQL logic and create a report more than to see what is returned and trace this or the quick logbook to the physical level, so you can see why no results are returned by SQL.

  Do not use the link or Image. Use the Guid. NAV. oppose instead. Link or Image may open in a new window, but the guests are not passed. GUID. NAV. object passes guests, which is what you want, but can not open in a new window.

• Recommended value for the BAM data expiration time

  Enterprise Server default is 24 hours, but I would like to be able to raise the average runtime instance after several months. Is it reasonable to the value of the time-out value a high value? Or it will have an impact on the performance of BPM/BAM?

  Normally, we keep the BAM data expiration time at halfway with 24 to 72 hours. For historical reports that you are looking for the Data Mart / Data Warehouse DB are more logical. This database stores the data forever and takes pictures at longer intervals, normally 24 hours. These data are not in time real normally then because a capture instant is only taken once per day but will give you historical reports that you are looking for. The data from this database structure is almost identical to the BAM DB.

• Why change the background image of the dashboard of data crash the app?

  I'm changing the background image of my dashboard (on a third generation iPad).  Whenever I try to make the change, the data dashobard app breaks down just.  Even if I try to change to a color, the application crashes.  I can insert a picture without problem.  I guess it's just a bug or something but has anyone else seen this problem?

  I was able to reproduce this crash with the following steps:

  -Set up a background image of a page

  -Copy the dashboard somehow. You can reproduce the dashboard, share by email, export and re - import OR clouds, etc.

  -Open the copy of dashboard

  -From the copy, change the background image (for a solid color or another image)

  If you set a background image of a page, close and reopen your dashboard and then try to change the background to something else, you will encounter this error.

  Solution: If you have the original background image in your Camera Roll, you can fall as an image on the same page (Photo Palette, select in the library). Then you can remove this image and change the background also image.

  If you do not have the original image, you may need to start with a new dashboard. (For each page on the old dashboard, you can tap the bottom, select all, copy / paste on another dashboard).

  There is a similar problem with images removed, if you shared the dashboard and you work on a copy. In this case, the solution is to copy and paste the image before deleting. (Otherwise, you'll get a dialog error instead of an accident, but the image is not clear).
