The AVM1 movie gets loaded, not incorporated. It is already compiled and plays right in the machine the plugin Flash Player AVM1.

I have an executable file coded in python. I can run this program on linux but not on Mac.

Do you have any idea how to run it please?

    Thank you.

Python is available in the Terminal, which provides a unix command-line environment.

Some python applications may need to be recompiled to run on Mac. You should maybe download and install Xcode Tools to get full access to all the compilers and related tools.

Hello. Recently, playing YouTube content using the HTML5 player has become impossible due to reading problems (audio/video are restless, loading content becomes extremely slow, browser stops responding).

    Reading with Chrome, no problem.
Return to playback of Flash, no problems.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit)

  • Why focus/cursor selects the address bar when you click in a new page?

This happens all the time, but most of the time... When I browse a site by clicking on the links, whenever a new page load the address bar is chosen to start typing. When I go to scroll down (using the down arrow/page keys) he'll scroll rather recent page URL in the address bar, instead of scrolling to the bottom of the page.
Looks like this behavior just started today...

To be clear, that's not something to do with the tabs, pages open in the same tab by clicking on the links at left will also affect the cursor to the address bar.

I don't think I'm in safe mode, I tried to reset firefox and this still happens. If this does not work as expected, can I disable it?

You open links in the same tab?

This also happens if you click the link to open the link in a new tab?

  • Unable to properly use the tumblr dashboard?

Up to wake up this morning, I was able to use fully the tumblr and the dashboard correctly. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. When I go on tumblr, I encounter a plethora of problems that make using it almost impossible. On the dashboard and the pages with it enabled, infinite scroll no longer works. None of the options send or the ability to republish the load once clicked, he throws just up the transparent blue without the tool. I can not get the drop for tracking tags to appear. I can't change even what a blog myself I consult.

So far, I have tried the following: Safe Mode - I have not encountered any problem in mode without failure.
Firefox reset - I thought that if I removed all the extensions and the things he could solve this problem, unfortunately, it does not.
Disable the extensions one - did with them all, without change.
Using another browser - everything works fine in Chrome, but I refuse to use because I view pages using advanced fonts and Chrome does not support them.
I contacted [email protected], but received no response, and above all, it seems to be a question on the browser side.

Firefox Safe mode makes a few other changes in addition to disable the extensions. It is of disabling the use of Firefox hardware acceleration (already not used on your system based on your system more than details) and turn off the JavaScript compilers (JavaScript runs always, but by a slower lane). Not sure that disabling these compilers would help.

It doesn't sound like some essential script files are not not running, or maybe even not loading...

Your list of extensions, I'd be more suspicious of HTTPS everywhere. If force you HTTPS on a site that is not designed for it, a lack of content may occur. Often this would be indicated by a joint active content blocking icon in the address bar (shield icon) to the left of the URL. If you see that, read this article for more information: joint in Firefox content blocking

  • Firefox slow at startup

Hello all, I need help with a problem, I have recently noticed when opening firefox.
Whenever I try to open it without any previous open tab, it takes a long time to start (about 10 seconds). Never had this problem before.
After startup everything works fine and even opening new tabs/windows is done instantly, the problem is known only when firefox is closed and should start.

I tried to disable my antivirus and the problem persists.
I tried to disable hardware acceleration and the problem persists.
I tried from Pentecost firefox a clean, new profile and the problem persists.
I tried to reinstall firefox and the problem persists.
I tried to start firefox in safe mode and seems to work fine, but when I try to run normally while disabling all plug-ins and extensions (default theme) the problem arises again.

No idea what else I could try to fix this annoying?

Try to start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

Your plugins such as Flash and Java always work in Mode without failure, and .css files are unlikely to make a difference.

The problem is perhaps with JavaScript compilers? These are constantly being updated, so a new problem is certainly possible. To turn off those selective way:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste java and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the following preferences from true to false:

    • JavaScript.options.baselinejit.Content
    • JavaScript.options.ion.Content

Note: This is based on Firefox 26. I'm not developments in every night.
