Ah yes... I have an Ethernet cable plugged and that seems to work except that I can't use Troubleshoot on it says Ethernet IPv6 connectivity cable: access no. network which is the second line, that of the top IPv4 connectivity is: Internet Modem hook up is not nearly this PC I him have already picked up and restarted the Modem , he showed on this PC there is no victory to Internet I tried to click to see if troubleshooting arise it won't let me not used so I don't no idea that continues, but I JUST refreshed this PC because Norton went a little wacky on me and made me re - new buy > _ > an error code showed a victory , I tried to update and I had refreshed this PC, now I have this good with it I really don't want it réactualisiez

Hi Asukari,

Thanks for the detailed description of issue.

Here are some ways you can follow to fix the problem with Windows update:

Method 1:

Check out the link and follow the steps in the article under the heading Windows 8:

Error code 0 x 80073712 occurs in Windows Update or Microsoft Update

    Hello

I'm afraid that, as most of the troubleshooting steps have been tried before without much success, only two options remaining to recover operating systems are:

    (a) the system restore:

System Restore helps you restore system files from your computer to an earlier point in time. As a general rule, you want to restore your computer to a restore point created before the date and time when you started noticing problems. The descriptions of the restore points are created automatically with the name of an event, such as Windows Update to install an update. System Restore returns your computer to the State it was in before the restore point that you choose.

To learn more about how to run system restore you can follow this link given below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/restore-system-files-and-settings

NOTE: However, it is said that the system restore does not affect your personal information such as e-mail, documents, photos, videos, etc., but it is quite possible that some of your personal files are removed during the restoration of the system.

During the restoration of the system, there may be errors and those errors can damage the files that are present in the system. And turn off your computer during the restore process may also lead to the loss of files. Sometimes, when the restoration of the system is down, it can lead to the loss of important files as well.

    (b) in the upgrade of the Place:

An upgrade on the spot is the final solution before you have to reinstall the operating system.
Note that it takes as much time to do the upgrade as to reinstall the operating system. In addition, some of your custom Windows settings may be lost through this process.

Note: Applications that you have installed Web sites and DVD is deleted. The applications provided with your PC and applications that you have installed in the Windows store will be resettled. Windows puts a list of apps removed on your desktop after you refresh your PC.

Hope this helps, if you need help with windows, please let us know we will be happy to help you.

Although the physical NETWORK adapter on the server is a Gigabit NIC, its connected to a 10/100 switch and the lisghts on the connection stating that the ESXi NIC host operating at 100 Mbps. Is there a reason why the guest operating system should see a 10mbit connection?

  • Errors in Windows 7 with Windows Help and Support, network connection, and the system restore

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 (4 years), sometimes overheated with heavy use. Normally I can cool, restart and wear. However, my laptop just overheated and closes, and this time I encounter all sorts of problems.
First of all, after the reboot, I noticed that the system does not automatically connected to my Wi - Fi (it does not even recognize the available network).
Secondly, in attempting to fix the network problem, I clicked on the link "Troubleshooting", only to receive the following error message "an unexpected error has occurred. ID of Package cannot continue the Troubleshooting Wizard": unknown path: C:\Windows\diagnostics\system\networking error Code: 0x8007045A

Third, because troubleshooting did not work, I thought I'd try the help and Support Windows to search for answers. However, when I opened it, I received the following message: "Windows Help and support has encountered a problem. You might be able to solve the problem by restarting Windows Help and Support. If the problem persists, proceed as follows: 1. search the online help on the Windows website.  2. contact your manufacturer of computers or Microsoft Support for assistance. There could be a problem with one or more Windows system files or folders on your computer. "Because I could not connect to the internet, these suggestions and links were useless.

Fourthly, as I failed to locate the problem, I tried a system restore. However, after he appeared to run (took about 30 min) and restarted Windows, the following message appeared: "system restore was not entirely successful. The system files and settings on your computer did not change. Details: System Restore could not access a file. This is probably because an antivirus program is running on the computer. Temporarily disable your antivirus and restart System Restore. An unspecified error occurred during system restore. (0x80070005)
You can try the system restore again and choose a different restore point. If you continue to see this error, you can try an advanced recovery method. For more information, see what is recovery? "I have disable my antivirus (AVG), tried and received the same error message.

Short physically all my backup files and restore to factory settings, I think I've exhausted what I can do.

    * EDIT * after scouring the site, I found a suggestion to run the tool via the command prompt System File Checker (see thread here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-performance/no-internet-connection-on-this-computer-after/83fb22c9-712e-467d-9a68-f8d52dde9bcb), which I did and found some corrupted files. The following response appears: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and repaired successfully details can be found in the CBS.log newspaper... File system changes will take effect after the next reboot. "After restarting, the internet connection problem seems to have been resolved. Service work. and Windows Help and Support also works! I hope it helps someone else!

    Hi Lorenacadi,

Thanks for sharing of the resolution. Your efforts and patience are highly appreciated.

In addition to the emission of heat:

Two things inside the laptop generate heat - power (in the place where the power cord plugged in) and the processor.  The CPU has a heater and a fan to help disperse the heat and keep the CPU at a reasonable temperature.  Hot air is sent on the vents, and air at room temperature between in other events.
What happens generally is dust forms near the vents, near the Airways within the laptop computer which lead to the mouths and on the CPU fan itself.  All these sources of dust cause airflow slow down, so that the hot air lingers and gets even hotter.  To resolve this problem, you will need to take the laptop apart and 'very good' to clean the dust and the CPU fan.

Another potential source of heat which would be composed of dust problem might be software related.  More 'work' the CPU must do the most energy is needed and therefore more heat is released.

    Hello

    1. What is the exact name of the application used to perform the cleaning process?

2 have you downloaded or have the CD/DVD application?

If the problem occurred after the installation and running of this particular application, I suggest you perform a System Restore to the date when the computer was working fine and check.

    System restore

Note: when you perform the system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

    Hello

Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft community forums.
To resolve the error code 0x80070005, try the suggestions.

    Answering the questions.

    1. which antivirus software is installed on the computer?

2 what is a wired or wireless?
    3. don't you make changes on the computer before the show?

You can try the solutions and check if you are able to connect to the network.

    Method 1:
Try the steps in the link and check.
Windows wireless and wired network connection problems
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

    Method 2:
Temporarily disable the antivirus and firewall installed on the computer and check.

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

NOTE: turning off Windows Firewall may make your computer (and your network, if you have one) more vulnerable to damage caused by worms or hackers.
You can see the following link to disable the Antivirus installed on your computer software.

    Disable the anti-virus software
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 3:
You can uninstall and reinstall the network card and check.
    a. Click Start, type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.
    b. Locate the network adapters and expand the same.
    c. Select the wireless connection, right click and choose uninstall.
    d. restart the computer, if prompted.
You can download the network drivers update of the website of the manufacturer of the system and check:

If you use Internet Explorer, then you can read the following article and try the suggestions and check.

How to troubleshoot network connectivity problems in Internet Explorer

  • Guest account cannot use HTTPS in Internet Explorer

Recently, I made the active (built-in) Guest account and he gave permission to log on interactively.

The connection was also successful in IE under different user accounts. I even created another local account called "New customer" and he attributed only to the guests group. With this account, I was able to connect and access through IE HTTPS sites.

Based on the answers to this problem , I ran "sfc/scannow". He returned with

Start scanning system. This process will take time.
Start of the phase of verification of the scanning system.
    Full check of 100%.
Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation.

I followed the suggestions in Troubleshooting . The 9 method returns the same error than to click on the resolution of problems in Internet Explorer. Disabling the firewall had no effect. Reset the Internet Explorer settings had no effect.

I also made sure to TLS and SSL options have been enabled, but that has no effect.

I confirmed that on another computer in Windows 7 (this a 32 bit Ultimate, but on the same domain), the guest account can access HTTPS sites with no problems.

It seems that there is something corrupt on the guest account itself (although it probably uses the same profile, as would new comments).

What can I do to fix IE under the guest account? Is it safe to delete and recreate the guest account? If I do, what are the implications?

We had the same problem. We needed to use the guest account because we wanted the account to automatically erase between guest users, but didn't want to deep freeze authenticated our users. For us, the problem was that guest doesn't have read access to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft.  Once the comments had read access to this key, both Chrome and IE were able to use the HTTPS protocol.  Also antivirus Microsoft CEP started working again for the guest user.
