C# zip example has virus

The import Microsoft Help section in the c# example is a zip here:

http://www.Adobe.com/support/RoboHelp/HTMLHelp.html

I downloaded and sent to someone in email. The following message appeared in my Inbox:
"Symantec Mail Security detected a virus non repairable in a message sent to your address." The recipient receives a message that the zip file is quarantined.

No idea what could be the problem?

Thank you.

It turns out that the virus message was a general statement used to ensure the safety of download of zip files. IT is said that it is practical industry common to quarantine a zip, since the user must open, and the content may not always have been digitized. However, I have never experienced this in a large number a download zip in this company.

Thanks for the test! Even if they say it's routine, I would not have imported a virus.

Since you have formatted the PC and reinstalled Windows, your question will be handled better in the hardware forum space and drivers for Windows 7, so I'll move it there.

Apparently, you need to install the driver of your PC network. If you used the CD to restore the PC manufacturer that should have been included, but it may be on a 2nd CD with drivers and programs.

If not, the first thing to do is contact the PC manufacturer to see if they have a driver available for download. If the PC has a wireless network card and wired, perhaps one has been configured, but not the other and you try to use the not yet detected and installed.

  • Currently, PC has viruses that cannot be removed by Mcafee, Avast, etc.. Thinking about upgrading to Windows 7, with a new facility.

A new installation of Windows 7, Home version will get rid of all viruses?
If so, do I just trust antivirus Windows 7 or is there another anti-virus (Avast, McAfee, etc.) I can run at the same time which will take care of any future problems?

There is no "Windows 7 antivirus."  Though is an installation of Windows 7 from XP (which requires a disc format) is almost certainly going to get rid of your current malware problem (there are some "boot sector" virus rare which can survive with a format), you can quickly end up in a similar situation unless you change which seems to be not not very safe computing habits.

The application named "Windows Defender", which is built into Windows 7 is only an anti-spyware tool (also true of Windows Defender for XP and Vista).  You need an antivirus application as well.  Microsoft Security Essentials is the current Microsoft free antivirus app.  As I understand it, MSE is good enough, although I'd rather pay for ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

Whatever you choose, only run a real-time antivirus application, although it is perfectly fine to perform periodic analyses to use another tool.  In addition, it is very important to keep your system up-to-date by setting Windows Update runs automatically.  You must keep your applications up to date as well, because the attacks thanks to various applications such as Adobe Acrobat are not unknown.

BTW, System Restore is NOT designed to get rid of a malware infection, and probably will not.

  • Zip clip has strong burst of static electricity at the end of some tracks

Recently newly bought Clip Zip 8 GB will have a strong burst of static at the end of some tracks. This happens on the titles that I put on the unit or with tracks that came on the device. I have a 8 GB microSD card, and it seems that both internal and external memory circuits have this problem. I don't know what the problem is, any comment is welcome.

I updated the firmware from 01.01.20A and it seemed to solve, or at least are not titles that have had the issue. I'm thinking that it resolved. Curiously, my wife bought an another zip clip last week, 4 GB, and it's at 01.01.20A.

Original title: laptop cannot connect to router

my daughter portable computer had bankerfoxa virus I think that I got rid of but she still can't connect on the website I want to download microsoft security essential on his cell phone how if I can not connect? pls help

    Hi trinidadg,.

Also try the following steps, you have a problem connecting to the Web sites.

Try to do a System Restore to an earlier date when your computer was working well and try to run a scan for malware removal.

Try to reset the Proxy settings to connect to the internet, as some malware enable proxy settings that block your ability to browse Internet sites.

    To reset the Proxy settings:

Click Start-> in "search programs and files" type CMD-> in the programs in the list right click CMD and click 'run as administrator '.

In the command prompt, type the following and press ENTER:

    NETSH WINHTTP RESET PROXY

    Restart the computer

When a photo for example has a bright sky next to the dark object, using lights and shadows to reduce high contrast can cause a 'halo' or double-edge to appear. How can I avoid this?

From my experience, this isn't a problem that has a simple solution, such as moving a slider or a combination of the sliders in LR. It requires rather a major change in the technique, at the unit or in office. Some pros (I am not one) tire ALWAYS support HDR or this reason - better transition from highlights to shadows, then tweak the image with much less "heavy" necessary. Another popular technique is the luminosity masking and blending in PS. There is a ton of information on this topic (just do a search on Youtube), but it's not easy to learn or do, but it can eliminate this problem.

  • google virus strikes?

    Hello

I have a Macbook and I'm used to using a Windows laptop complete with Anti Virus etc etc. including safe online that gives a green check mark or Red Cross next to all your hits when you search on Google. I must say that I hate not having this feature on my Macbook! I searched for the latest potential nasties on Facebook for my husband (who fell on one yesterday) using Google (you know that you are looking for on Snopes, typing in "Facebook virus 2016" etc.) and a YouTube video appeared in my Google search results that (based on descriptions you get under each blow) was clearly infected a video with a link.

I open it, but I have often wondered if you can pick up some bad guys just searching on Google and the blows that arise, even if you do not click on them?

My apologies if that crosses naïve, but I'm still learning!

    Thank you.

Mac is a lot safer than computers when it comes to bad guys. Safari is much safer than Chrome and has many built-in safeguards.

There are no viruses that can attack Mac.OS X. For example, anti-virus programs are selling a cure for a disease that does not exist. And they are known for the Mac was systems.

  • Virus protection tips

I recently discovered that my sites were dead. I contacted technical support and was told they had blocked my IP, probably because he was "constantly hit the server."

    It's his follow-up message:

As I said, just to be safe, just scan your PC with a virus scanner and make sure all your browsers are updated. And since this seems to be the 2 the technician was looking for probable cause. He has just updated me and said that he found that hit Apache ask max and will open a ticket with you to inform you of this. »

First of all, you don't have a virus. There are no viruses that can attack Mac.OS X. For example, anti-virus programs are selling a cure for a disease that does not exist. And they are known for the Mac was systems. Download and run EtreCheck, created by one of his own assistants here in CSA. It is a diagnostic tool that is very useful for us to find problems. It will also give us additional specifications on your Mac. After his execution after the logfile here. It will never contain any personal information.
