C240 classify songs

I have the sandisk c240.
All my songs are correctly labeled id3 tags,
Yet, during the consultation under the artist says only 'unknown artist' and the title of the album
"unknown album" then under songs it lists all my songs.

This TERRIBLE player can play only ID3 V2.3 correctly.   All of my tags were in ID3 V2.4

WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

If I would have paid full price for this it would be already returned.  What a joke.

  • iCloud music library playlists can include music from your music library to iCloud. This playlist cannot be downloaded, because it includes other types of media or songs that are not eligible

Some Audio files are not eligible in icloud library, how can I force icloud to copy in my iphone. They are legitimate files (audio course)

The elements should be considered as songs (music).  They must be your music iTunes library.  If they are categorized as another type of media (through iTunes), as a podcast or an audio book, you cannot then put on a playlist that is in your music to iCloud library.

The song file may not exceed 200 MB.  The song should not be longer than 2 hours.  The song encoding cannot be 96 Kbps or less.

If your audio elements (like songs) are not eligible, you will be able to modify them to make them eligible.  How depends on the reason to be ineligible.  Alternatively, if you have iTunes classify 'song' as a podcast or an audio book, you can load them on the iPhone the 'old school' way, live sync.  To change the category of the item in the window to read the information of the element (in the Options tab) change Media kind of music Podcast or audiobook.

  • How to convert songs to unprotected which have been purchased and are protected

Several years ago, iTunes would classify songs like PROTECTED file format.  This block of songs [900] now posed problems for their use for current playlists because they will NOT work on devices such as my audio system with SONOS.   How can I convert these songs into another format of file without loss of quality of format?   My only option that I can think of is to convert a CD in MP3 format and then reload.  This seems to be a bad choice, because it would be down the grade quality and take a very large amount of time and resources [many discs CD] to accomplish.  Is there a software out there to convert these files.  I searched and not found yet.  I also called Apple and they had no solution for me at this time.

A subscription to Match ($25 per year) iTunes will give you the possibility of re - download songs protected in iTunes no longer protected format (256 kbps AAC). Read this Apple Support article. It is mentioned that this option may not be available for all your songs protected, do not know what the criteria here is. This will / might actually be an upgrade of quality for your purchased version (128 kbit/s in the early days). The other option would be to burn regular CD audio from your protected albums - not MP3 CDs such as the format of the file won't change - and re-rip them one at the time. If you save money without loss, you will have no loss of quality, if you save in any compressed format, there will be a loss of quality due to additional compression. 900 songs will be about 90 CD to rip and burn.

  • 5 star playlists evaluation and dynamic

    Hello
It would be a nice feature if you can classify songs with 1 to 5 stars instead of one or none. And it would be great if you can create dynamic playlists on this vote and perhaps other criteria as genre etc.

  • Why a song I downloaded get classified as 'other media' instead of music, and how it moves it?

New to music downloading but I am confused as to why one of the 12 songs I downloaded is not recognized as music from Windows Media Player or 'Music' on the stage of Dell. WMP it categorizes as "other media". Dell Stage just does not display it at all. Amazon Cloud, itunes, Spotify and all make them, if. It seems to be the same as other categoriezed records (if I moved it to try to solve the problem in the past). He said: it is located in the

    C:\Users\...\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Compilations\Cars\03 life is a Highway.m4a

where as another song downloaded on the same time is the same

    C:\Users\...\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\Blake Shelton\Red River Blue (Version Deluxe) \03 God gave me You.m4a

It would be nice to be able to move files between 'Music' and 'Other media' autour anyway since he is identified as music number of non-music items such as CD of the Bible and podcasts. Any suggestions?

    Thank you

ADD: If it is a cause or an effect I don't know, but I find that all files in the media 'other' tab when clicked says under 'Properties' in the 'Media usage rights' tab ' this file is missing use rights.» Each file checked in the "Music" tab, said simply "this file is not protected." This is true even for a CD I downloaded twice, once with WMP, then later in iTunes when AmazonCloud couldn't accept version WMP (sick real of compatibility here.); Download WMP appeared under 'Music', but the download of iTunes put copies second under 'Other media'.

Thanks for posting the info. It seems to be just an MPEG-4 AAC audio file normal (so not ALAC). I am not sure yet why WMP this qualifies other media.

If you try to add the song to the library, which helps? To add the song, right click, select delete - delete from library only - OK. Then, go to Tools - Advanced Options and select restore deleted library items (press Ctrl + M, if you don't see the Tools menu).

  • ITunes is of note to the whole Albums instead of individual songs

When I evaluate an individual song album is classified.

This issue seems to occur only when evaluating a song from a playlist.

I can't repeat this behavior.  It seems to happen randomly.  I can do the same procedure 10 times, and it can occur only 1/10.

This is not a recent problem.  I was aware for well over a year.  At no time I never rated an album, however I regularly have to wade through my appreciation according to playlists smart weeding nominal albums.

Black Blue stars are manual sides. You can edit the ratings in most views where they can be seen, with the exception of the column Album of note in the view of songs where they are not active. Activate and expand the column work instead, when it is quite wide there is an active side that you can modify.

Dark Gray stars are ratings auto generated in response to manual ratings. Manually securities on the side of an album will be automatically rate the album if it is not already evaluated. Notation manually an album will self evaluate any track not classified.

You can remove the automatic ranking with my scripts ClearAlbumAutoRating or ClearTrackAutoRating , which sets the manual values of 1%. A score of zero allows the behavior of auto side where not classified titles are given a side-car, which corresponds to the side of the album, and an album not class boasts a rating that reflects the rounded average of no assigned manually track. Match scripts to make things if you want to restore the automatic categorization later.

In recent months, it seems to be another issue where after titles were noted on a device synchronization can result in an album to get a full capacity in iTunes. I hope that Apple are aware of this problem and can be solved in a generation later... maybe.

  • Horrible 'Songs' setting in the newest update

I've updated to the latest version of iOS, and now in the service of ipod music songs are not classified in alphabetical order as they were before.  When you click on the songs, you get the artist in alphabetical order with each of their songs in order.  Is nothing more than a list of artist, expanded to every artist.  This is not an alphabetical list of all the songs in the library.  Attach it to the way it was, which was a good list of songs!

Easy fix. Go to settings > music > songs of sorting & Albums and select by title.

  • iTunes rates songs without my permission

Is there a way to remove the side to stars hollow generated automatically?  They are my songs.  I don't want to see someone of another classification, or by average rating, I want to see the sides that I applied to them after listening.  If I have not applied a rating, it's because I didn't.  I do not understand why this would be automatically applied, instead of a setting, users can choose.

Apple has really any sort of feedback mechanism, or they just what to be and hope that people like her?

You can remove autoratings with my scripts ClearAlbumAutoRating or ClearTrackAutoRating , which sets the manual values of 1%. A score of zero allows the behavior of autorating where not classified titles are given a side-car, which corresponds to the side of the album, and an album not class boasts a rating that reflects the rounded average of no assigned manually track. There are scripts to make things if you want to restore autoratings later.

  • My iPad 2 Air won't let me note songs

    Hello

My iPad 2 Air is on the software up to date, and it does not rate individual songs. I tried restarting it and also reset to factory settings and re-sync it but still have the same problem. Can anyone help? I'm probably doing something really stupid so I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but he's really starting to annoy me now! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How are you trying to do? The currently playing song should show at the bottom of the music app, tapping that should make the track full screen - click on the cover of the album should fade/blur work and give you five points to set his side; Press the point you want to classify it so, tap anywhere on the work blurry to return to the display of the work, then on the top arrow pointing left to minimize the track and return to the track selection screen.

  • iTunes songs before the track Cup is over

    user of iTunes game.

Behavior of the laptop (MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, end of 2012):)

    * Song playback stops and goes to the next song (from the album in mp3 I import into my library) anywhere between 20 and 120 seconds to play in the song.

    * iTunes songs to Match 'Match' then toggled to the server version, never jump.

    * Match songs iTunes which are classified as "Uploaded" are always prime suspects to be cut at the beginning.

behavior of iPhone (iPhone 6 +):

    * Same behavior as laptop - stops while exact titles "Uploaded" with the same problem.

    Starting from:

    (1) no matter what iTunes was available 1 January 2016. 12.3.2 currently.

    (2) iOS maintained every time that it is made available.

    (3) El Capitan. 10.11.3 currently.

    (4) new album, I downloaded from 1 January 2016 (not to imply the new year is the problem, just a coincidence)

    What I tried:

    * In case the song is classified as 'Matched', I remove the mp3 and replace it by downloading the version of iTunes game<-- this="">

    * In case the song is classified as "Uploaded", I deleted and re-imported.<-- this="" does="" not="">

    To convert the mp3s to AAFC.<-- this="" does="" not="">

    * Drag each mp3 in the library, one by one, instead of as a full album.<-- this="" does="" not="">

    * Play the songs in VLC.<-- this="" always="" works.="" but="" doesn't="" change="" anything="" about="" its="" behavior="" in="">

    All the solutions out there?

My guess is that there is something odd about these songs MP3 files, iTunes does not like (and also affects playback on the iPhone).  No matter how it is added to the iTunes library, or through your music to iCloud library (for unloading), the problem persists.  When the song is, iTunes doesn't have a problem with the AAC to Apple Server version because it's a totally different file.  But if you convert to AAC format using iTunes, iTunes uses the MP3 file of source with this problem.

If you open the MP3 file using QuickTime Player (right click file and Open with-> QuickTime Player), he plays the song all along.  If so, use the command in the menu bar (for QuickTime Player) to the file-> export-> iTunes.  The song is converted to AAC and added to your iTunes library.  See if this version is played throughout in iTunes.

  • Playlist order no alphabetical longer (no order of song)

Hi, until an update a few months ago, all of the selections have been classified by alphabetical order. Now the selections in the subfolders don't order alphabetically and rather order when they are created/added to the file.

The songs in a playlist are beautiful and can order them alphabetically, manually, by artist etc. Its the real names of the Playlist I want sorted alphabetically, as they used to be. It was I could put 0 in front and it's at the top now, it added at the bottom. If I add a playlist to the generic list its fine, his records his alphabetical is no longer. Any ideas?

This is a bug introduced in iTunes 12.3.2.  The correct sorting for the playlists order needs to be restored if you exit and then restart iTunes - obviously not a solution, we will have to wait for the next update to this!

  • Can you still use stars to rate songs in the music app?

Can you still use stars to rate songs in the music app?  That's how my itunes library is organized, and when I get new songs on my phone I would rate it.

    Hi Eric,.

Yes, you can always classify a song with stars in the app music with iOS 9.2.   When you choose to start a song, the Miniplayer will appear.  Tap the song title to see the player Now Playing view (full-screen).  Tap the title again in this point of view and you will see five points.  Press the point that represents your side.  (Ex. If you type the fourth point, you will see four stars).

The now playing view will remain open, it will be later songs of rate they play.  Pressing the arrow down in the upper left corner will take you back to the sight of MiniPlayer.

Here is some additional information on the new music app:

With the help of the new music app

    My Music & Playlists

    Play your music

When you play a song, you see the Miniplayer at the bottom of the screen. You can continue to browse other titles to find the next perfect song.

Or you can tap or slide up on the Miniplayer to see the display of current playback and controls. Press on the in the upper left corner or sliding down to close the now playing screen.

  • Just the songs/video missing?

I have an iPhone 7 more than 128 GB. Unfortunately when I click on 'Video' app on my iPhone, all my music videos, that I bought from iTunes disappeared and moved to the application 'Music'. Now, it's really confusing. Apple seems to break the apps more than fixing. Why? before iOS 10 never comes, iOS 9 worked very well and all my music videos are in the 'Video' app, all my songs are in the "Music" app, not more, there now appear to be broken, involved putting each of them in the application 'music '. Even when I play the video clip in the application of the 'Video' on iOS 9 which usually have closed captions on it, now on iOS 10 in the application 'music' don't have it anymore. ITunes on my PC play subtitles on the music video, I need this back on my iPhone! I have total of 401 songs [for the most part, are ripped from my CDs and some songs are purchased from iTunes included music videos purchased on iTunes] and only 333 is transferred to my iPhone and 68 are missing. I get most videos music and songs that I bought in gray [68 of them are]. I even went to "Purchased" and redownload everything and it remains grayed out... Help? and apple please give these clips in the app "Video!" PLEASE?

The following steps should help with the erratic behavior of synchronization, including the formidable gray traces with dotted circles. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

  • How many GB 6000 songs should be?

I just bought the ipod touch 64 GB, and after the apps there is left 55gbs. This is announced to hold a fair a few thousand songs and even my itunes tells me 6800 songs is 55 concerts. What happens here?

iTunes may well tell you that, but when the songs are stored on your device, the space occupied is smaller.  For example, my iTunes tells me that my songs using 73 GB, but on my phone, they take 21.5 GB.

  • When I add a playlist to my library, it automatically updated with new songs?

    Hello world

When I add a playlist to my library, for example a list of music playback from Apple which is regularly updated by the editors ("Best of the Week" or 'Hits of today', for example), did the playlist in my library automatically update with new songs, when new songs are added?

    Thank you in advance.
