  • Photosmart C7250 AIO: Fax number in the fax header change

How can I CHANGE the fax number in the header of the HP Photosmart C7250? When I go to settings and select Fax header Configuration, I get the screen to enter the text for my name, and then click OK and the fax number is displayed, but there is no way to change this. How can I change?

    Hello

When you access the Fax header, definition FRO the printer screen, confirming the header once the fax number is displayed as described.

Move the cursor using the arrow to the left until the first character is marked, enter the current number and replaces the listed value and press OK to confirm.

  • For C7250 all-in-One under Mac Yosemite connectivity issues

I've recently updated to Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.2

After that, I have experienced the following problems with my printer of HP C7250 (connecetd via USB):

    1)

The registration of the product is suspended

When I tried to reinstall the HP of CD the HP Installation Wizard software to "Web registration" step, where it crashes. You can click on 'Register' as often as you like, nothing happens.

If I select "Register later" it does allow me to choose 'Yes' to confirm.
Basically, I'm stuck at this step.

However, the printer comes and I can try to send files to it.

    2)

I also noticed that the verification of the software updates using the HP Device Manager seems to hang.
I wonder if there is some sort of current connectivity problem?

    3)

The outcome is that the file does not print.

When initially, I tried to print, I got an error 'Arrested - filter has failed' and a crash report that goes directly to Apple.

After the printer is disconnected and the installation of the recommended Apple software upgrade for HP in Yosemite, the crash when printing has transformed at a glance:

After trying to print a file to a page with text and a picture, it makes "1% complete" and stops.

I have tried to reinstall the HP software twice, restart the Mac, disconnect and reconnect the printer, no luck.

Maybe I have everything in the right order. Don't know where to go from here - any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello

Check first of all in the Applications folder and look for a Hewlett-Packard folder.

If there is there such a don't forget to follow the uninstaller to remove any software from your Mac incopmpatible.

Then manually remove drivers by following the two methods:

First reset the printing system as listed to 10.9, the steps are the same.

Then follow the steps under "second method: uninstall the printer software > I used Apple Software Update to install the printer software ' below:

Once you have finished uninstalling follow these steps to reinstall the driver by running Apple Software Update and adding the printer:

If you are still having problems install this package and the Coachman for the difference:

  • C7250 interrupted automatically Duplex print

Reinstalled Windows 7 after the crash and reinstalled latest printer drivers. Photosmart C7250 print duplex automatically interrupted. Double-sided printing is now limited to "manual".  Worked well before. That's happened?

The default value for the driver, it's that the duplexer is not enabled.  Select the duplex module, as shown in the Vista/Windows 7 Duplex printing here Guide.

  • Photosmart C7250 is incompatibility with windows 8.1 Overview operating system.

I installed windows 8 pro from form to preview pro 8.1 windows operating system and now the Photosmart C7250 printer I've stopped working.  It seems to need revised drivers.  In addition, the HP Solution Center has stopped loading.  Any ideas when new drivers will be sent?

Keep watching the web page for new drivers.

  • c7250 network connectivity issues

I searched through all the posts and has not found any help for my problem (after trying everything I came on) so this is.

I have just received, as a gift, the C7250 AIO and impossible to get it remains connected to a network cable or wireless.  When I install the device (either wireless or cable network), the unit works fine, but when I shut down or restart the device is not connected.  If I have "My Computer", open, both the network c7200 icon will be there and then disappear.  The same thing with the c7200 scanner icon.  He will be there, and then disappear.   Enter the printer and Faxes folder, I see similar symptoms.  The printer (and fax) will appear online (ready), then jump off (offline).  If I look at the two windows the device appears and then disappears.  No problem with the device when connected to a USB cable.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software probably 6 + times and spent 2 days trying to make it work.

I am running Windows XP, with a Netgear router (I just bought that today, thinking that my router Linksys could be the problem, but the printer reacts the same thing with both routers).  I have also been devoted to the installation of the printer and created a new port (192.168.1.160) in the hope that it could solve the problem, but not luck.  I disabled my McAfee (to disable the firewall), but that did not help.

My daughter has one from a source other than mine (so it isn't the same batch), and it has similar problems.  Here now, returned, once again, gone.  It's the same symptoms.

Any help (before returning the printer) would be appreciated.  It works fine on USB but I need the capabilities of the network printer.  Is this just a problem with printer HP networking?  Oh, by the way, if I display "manage network" McAfee in their 'Security Center' or run a network monitoring program, the printer's IP address is always there and always constant.

    TIA,

    Rich

I forgot the 1st Comandment of computing.  Look for the updates.

There, on the page of the software, was a patch/update software called, "Critical update to enhance reliability of network and USB connectivity and improve system responsiveness while printing".

Once I ran the update that all my problems disappeared and the printer works well (no connectivity problem, no stop error and my system is back up to normal operating speed).

  • Photosmart C7250: Win 8.1 duplexing

I have a Photosmart C7250 (it has been a case of Costco with the included duplexer). I just got a new laptop and after installing the drivers through the HP download and install wizard, the thin printer print test page.  However it does not print duplex with the exception of manually.

I looked everywhere and the solution ' open the printer, select the device settings and click installed duplex 'Yes' "is not an option.  The software does not recognize the duplexer is installed for me to choose this setting.  At least the Setup window does not present me with this ability.  I deleted and reinstalled the fixing of the duplexer at the back of the printer.

Any help will be appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

    Hi @Gregorach,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Now I don't have your model of printer in my office to work with, but I managed to install the drivers to produce the following screenshots:

I wonder if you have the most recent printer driver installed as mine was labeled differently (screenshot 1).  It might be useful to install this driver.

In the second screen shot (which I accessed by pressing file / print / print preferences) Note that you can set up automatic double-sided printing. I think that's what the user guide instructions were referring in my first post.  Still, I can't test it to check, but I think it's more what you should see when you set up your print jobs.

Let me know if it helps.

    Kind regards

  • HP C7250 'configure' itself whenever I try to scan!

I recently had to reinstall my C7250 after reload Windows XP. Since then, when I try to scan anything, I get the following dialog box: "Please wait while Windows configures Scan" is a progress bar in the dialog box and the message, "Collecting information" appears. This can be very long and it is quite annoying. Anyone has any ideas on this one?

    Solution:

    1. download and install Windows Installer Clean up Utility from microsoft Web site. Download it by clicking here

    2. once it is installed, you can run it by clicking on the link located at the end of your list of all programs (click Start > all programs)

    3. it will open a new window with a list of software that that can be found on your computer

    4. search Scan and select it and then click on the button Delete

Don't worry, it will not uninstall it.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if it is resolved. Thank you.

  • C7250 disc said that vista xp s CC985-10001

C7250 disc only vista xp and 2000 8.1. ? the printer doesn't work but do not have the program on the new pc yet. i.e. scan copy, etc I think it was called the 'Suite '.

Indeed, gollowing steps above will install the complete software for your printer, allowing you to capabilitiews of full scan, the device information such as levels of ink and fax from the computer, applications such as the HP Solution Center you have on earlier operating systems.

  • C7250 paper jams not clearing

    Hi all

I have a C7250 all-in-one which was great for about 5 years, but I have a problem that just started.

I tried to print an envelope last week; the envelope stuck to the back of the printer and I had to clear by removing the rear access door. This MAY have been the first time access back was never deleted, in any case I never recall before doing so. Since I replaced the door, I'm getting the paper jam or paper messages on the control screen. When I opened the back there is usually a piece of paper wrapped around the roll but it's not like he's blocking things up, and it comes out easily. I've been through the self-help video and done everything as described, but it is not solved the problem.

The reels on the access door are OK (I checked as described in the video of Self-Help) and I use the same paper I always used for more than one year (GP basic copy paper # 20) but I always get jams. Anyone had this problem before? Some tips on how to fix it? Thanks for all tips.

    Kind regards

    CK

    Hello ckelly999,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! I see you were printing an envelope and she got got stuck in the HP Photosmart C7250, you had to remove the rear access door and now you get paper jams paper or paper of the error messages. You were able to do some troubleshooting, but this did not help.

You may already have some of the steps listed here but would you perform all THE steps: A 'transport Jam' message on the control panel, also try to use a different wall outlet see if that helps.

Now please start here on three Solution: clean the rolls - Error Message "on paper" and the printer is not Pick Up or paper feed

Please let me know the results!

  • I have a Photosmart C7250

I have a Photosmart C7250 configuration on a cable network that works very well, but the HP solution center software insists on a connection USB works, it can be used on the network connection?  There are times I want to scan into the computer or get photos

    a SD chip.

    Hi Ernie987,

The short answer is that the Solution Center works very well with a network connection.

It would seem that the solution Center has been installed with a USB connection on your computer first.

There may be some possible solutions.  Center solutions, you might find the network as a separate tab on the side connection above or to the left of the main screen.  It would appear as a different printer.

In addition, you may want to consider uninstalling completely, including the solution Center and then put it back with the network connection.  I would try this second however.

  • Photosmart C7250 scans no longer - problems of Lion?

I was able to scan with my C7250 on my MacBook Pro and my IMac.  I just upgraded to Lion on my IMac, but not on my MacBook Pro.  I can scan on the MacBook, but not on my IMac.  I can always print wireless but the computer does not see a scanner.  Any ideas?

If you are using Snow Leopard or Lion and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall< scrubber="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.
