Calculate the attribute (entity) Total value based on a specific entity

I'm writing a calc that will calculate a total based on an attribute (entity) and based on a specific entity. I am currently able to calculate the total value of the attribute by using @SUM (@ATTRIBUTE (attrmembername)). I tried specifying the entity specifi in DIFFICULTY, but it is still calculating the total of the entire dimension, rather based on a specific entity. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thank you!

Use the @REMOVE function to exclude members that you do not want. The FIX is not your problem. Within the function, when you call @ATTRIBUTE, you get all basic members associated with this attribute.
So in your @SUM function that you must exclude members you won't be part of the sum.

Suppose you had a structure where you had a '1' attribute that has been associated with several children of 'A' and 'B', but in your sum function, you want only to the sum of the members who have the '1' attribute, AND are children of "A". If you want to exclude with the attribute members that are under the 'B '.

@SUM (@REMOVE (@ATTRIBUTE("1"), @CHILDREN ('B'));

  • How to calculate the limits of dynamic range based on a value

    Hi all, I need to create a function that accepts as parameters:

    Ticket_id NUMBER
    NUMBER fluctuation
    Resolution_time NUMBER

    For each Ticket_id, the function should calculate the Resolution_time who "go time" according to the Fluctuation_ratio.

    For example:

    Ticket_id = 12
    Fluctuation_ratio = 0.5
    Resolution_time = 1.6 (hours)

    The fluctuation_ratio said that the range increased by 0.5 hours each time. So in this example, it must consider lines like these:

    "0-0, 5 h'"
    "0,5- 1 h"
    1 to 1.5 h'
    '1.5 to 2 h'
    ..........

    So the function must return the string: * "1.5 to 2 h."

    If the fluctuation_ratio was 3, the lines had to be:

    "' 0 - 3 hours"
    3 6 h"
    6 9 h'
    9 12 h'
    ..........

    and the function should return the string: *'0 - 3: "*"

    Anyone know how I can achieve this? Is there an analytic function which calculate each time the lower and the upper limit of the range 'hour '?

    Thanks in advance, any help will be appreciated

    Hello

    Here's a function that does what you requested:

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION resolution_range
    (      in_fluctuation          IN     NUMBER
    ,      in_resolution        IN     NUMBER
    )
    RETURN     VARCHAR2
    DETERMINISTIC
    IS
         low_val          NUMBER     := in_fluctuation * FLOOR ( in_resolution
                                                / NULLIF (in_fluctuation, 0)
                                         );
         return_txt     VARCHAR2 (4000) := TO_CHAR (low_val)
                              || '-'
                             || TO_CHAR (low_val + in_fluctuation)
                             || 'h';
    BEGIN
         RETURN     return_txt;
    END     resolution_range
    ;

    I tested it using this query:

    WITH   test_data     AS
    (
         SELECT  12 AS ticket_id, .5 AS fluctuation_ratio, 1.6 AS resolution_time     FROM dual UNION ALL
         SELECT  13,              3,                     1.6                      FROM dual
    )
    SELECT     test_data.*
    ,     resolution_range (fluctuation_ratio, resolution_time)     AS range
    FROM     test_data
    ;

    and got this output:

    TICKET_ID FLUCTUATION_RATIO RESOLUTION_TIME RANGE
    --------- ----------------- --------------- --------------------
           12                .5             1.6 1.5-2h
           13                 3             1.6 0-3h

  • help create dynamic measures to calculate the total amount in the form of tabluar

    Hello world

    We using apex 4.2 and start re-writing some existing applications originally designed in 3.0.   I was wondering if someone could help me with the following scenario.

    I have a tabular presentation several recording based on a collection called "species_collection".  The form allows fisherman to create an electronic ticket which contains one species, quantity, price, total of the amounts and other descriptive information on the species.  I created a dynamic action (with lots of help from this forum) to automatically update the collection when a field is changed.

    I am now in the hope of creating a dynamic action that will automatically do the following:

    • When the quantity is changed, recalculate the total of the amounts as quantity * price
    • When the price is changed, recalculate the total of the amounts as quantity * price
    • When dollars changed, recalculate the $ amount/total price.
    • When the total amount is changed, recalculate the OVERALL TOTAL

    Currently, I use embedded calls to javascript and then to application processes... but they are difficult to debug, and it seems that dynamic action could be cleaner and simpler.

    the current request is (I've included the concerned fields because it is an important application):

    SELECT
    apex_item.text(1,seq_id,'','','id="f01_'||seq_id,'','') "DeleteRow",
    seq_id,
    seq_id display_seq_id,
    .....
    apex_item.text(10,TO_NUMBER(c010),5,null, 'onchange="setTotal('||seq_id||')"','f10_'||seq_id,'') Quantity,

    apex_item.text(11,TO_NUMBER(c011),5,null,'onchange="getPriceBoundaries('||seq_id||')"','f11_'||seq_id,'') Price,

    apex_item.text(12, TO_NUMBER(c012),5,null, 'onchange="changePrice
    ('||seq_id||')" onKeyDown="selectDollarsFocus('||seq_id||',event);"','f12_'||seq_id,'') Dollars
     ......
    from apex_collections
     where collection_name = 'SPECIES_COLLECTION' order by seq_id

    each field, QUANTITY, PRICE, $ has an ONCHANGE that then call the application processes that update the collection.

    I have it.  trial and error.

    the DYNAMICS of the evolution of prices and the $ action are now two separate dynamic actions.

    Action DYNAMICS to update the column from the collection is now last... and it seems that everything works... until I have change something again.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Get the attribute value of a def page table by using el expression.

    Hello

    Use Jdeveloper 11.1.2.0.0 and have a requirement like this for which a sample is created. Requirement is as follows...

    1. do you have a Taskflow with a readonly employee table.
    2. by clicking on a button called "itinerary" checks if the selected line, the attribute Manager id value = 200 then go to the first page on the other if the value attribute id manager is 200 then go to the second page.

    Through the def page, if it has the form, then we can access the attributes like #{data.view_FirstPageDef.ManagerId}. In the case of acquisition of the same attribute value from the table using the def page? is what I am unable to get...

    Come to the notion of routing using the router on Taskflow activity. But I am unable to get the selected row in a table of employee page def attribute value. Can anyone suggest on the same...

    Thank you and best regards,
    Olivier G

    On the router, right-click on its icon in the workflow and create a page definition. Then in the file def, add an iterator based on the same view of the table object in the first page, then add a value attribute that is mapped to the managerId in the iterator of the View object. Finally in the router, you can write EL expressions along the lines of #{bindings. ManagerId.inputValue = 200} or #{bindings. ManagerId.inputValue! = 200}.

  • get the attributes NAME / VALUE of a XML

    I love this forum :)

    I load a XML one fill a tree, where I started to drag items.
    the XML looks like this:
    < myTag attrName = "attrValue" otherAttrName = "otherAttrValue" / >

    var ds:DragSource = event.dragSource;
    var var1:String =(event.dragInitiator as Tree).value.@attrName;
    -> the variable var1 is now: "attrValue".

    My question is... How can I get the names of all attributes? in this example: attrName and otherAttrName (assume that I don't know the structure of this xml node)
    What attribute values?
    Thank you!

    The snippet below takes a node xml (nodeCur), made a loop through the list of attributes and built a table that contains the attribute name and value of each attribute. It is a sample application that allows you to edit an xml file.
    I'm sorry that the forum will remove formatting

    var aDPAttributes:Array = new Array();
    var xlAttributes:XMLList = nodeCur.@*;
    var: attribute;
    for (var i: int = 0; i< xlattributes.length();="" i++)="">
    aDPAttributes.push ({name: xlAttributes [i] .name (), value: xlAttributes [i]});
    }
    dgAttributes.dataProvider = aDPAttributes; Set the sheet dataProvider property

  • Calculate values based on the boxes are checked - for Dummies...

    Hello and thank you all in advance for your help. I'm trying to calculate a value based on the boxes checked. Specifically, I would like to add a particular value $$ each CheckBox and if this box is checked, I want to add to the total rental value (see screenshot below):

    Screenshot (1).png

    As you can see in the screenshot that I have different areas that can be selected (first floor, court before, etc.), I want to assign a value to the checkbox of each region (and added value for others) and calculate a total in the "Balance of rental fees" less the deposit. I'm new with java and scripts but not know how to do it in an excel formula. I guess it's very different from what little I know of Java. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

    Calculation options are in the text field. In this screen, you only need to set the value of exports to the amount this box represents.

  • How to calculate the Total price based on a rate of m² with different prices?

    Hello

    I'm guessing that it is a script, but I've never done any script so I would like to ask you guys...

    I have a form where I would calculate the total price for some carpet based on the price per sqm.

    -L the user enters the number of carpet needed.

    -There are different price points for 1-20, 21-60, 61 + m² (each with their own hidden field that contains the value of awards).

    -The Total Price field evaluates the relevant quantity and multiply by the square metre rate.

    Is it achievable?

    I guess that all solutions are placed in the "Custom calculation Script" field too?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yes. You can use something like this, as the custom of the price field calculation total (you may need to adjust the domain names):

    var sqm = Number (this.getField("SQM").value);

    rate of var = 0;

    If (sqm > 0 & m²)<=20) rate="">

    ElseIf (> 20 sqm & m²)<=60) rate="">

    ElseIf (> 60 sqm) rate = Number (this.getField("Rate3").value);

    M² = Event.Value * side;

  • Need to sort the instances of an entity or assign a rank to each of them based on one of the attributes.

    I need to assign a rank to each instance of an entity called 'Campaign', based on one of the attributes of the entity of campaign called "recipes". So, essentially, that we need to check the current instance with all other insatnces of campaign, assign the relative to the current row.

    Emergency assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    A common method is to create a relationship of self-esteem for the campaign.  Call it something like "lower income".

    Rule 1 creates relationships for campaigns that have a lower income:

    Campaign (target) is a member of the decline in revenues, if

    Revenue from target< compaign="">

    2 account rule the number of relationships to create a ranking (and puts the number in a variable called 'Campaign order number'):

    Campaign sequence number = the number of the decline in revenues

    The 'Order of campaign number' attribute in each entity now has your order in it.

  • Validation on the value entered for the attribute-based LOV

    Hello

    I use R12 and created an integrator based on a Table based on a table of seedlings open interface. I use an approach that does not involve PLSQL since the Integrator is based on a Table on a table of seedlings open interface and I have so defined it an importer to call a simultaneous program seeded import. I also put in place a LOV component on one of the attributes in the interface.

    My question is, if in the spreadsheet, the user double-click in the cell LOV to extract, and then select a value (for example if they are in copying and pasting quite a few records if they manually type a value) and the value you entered don't is not one who belongs to a group of data from the LOV, this would raise a validation error when loading?

    In this scenario, I would LOV to serve as a validation check to ensure that users can choose only one value that would be in the LOV, even if they have not actually open the popup LOV and selected a value there. I have some research which I would probably need to validate the data against and because my approach is purely a non-PLSQL that I think the best way to achieve this.

    Appreciate your help as always

    Concerning

    Not to worry, I think I answered my own question by developing a little proof of concept.

    As expected, you can enter values that are part of the DataSet LOV. Enter any other value will highlight the line as an error line asking the user to enter a valid value.

    Thank you

  • To access the elements of an array of elements based on the value of the attribute

    Hi all

    I create a BPEL 11 g process that calls a web service which returns a data table. I need iterator on the data elements and access based on their attribute value.

    Here is a sample web service load:

    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
       <env:Header/>
       <env:Body>
          <OutputParameters xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/inv/soaprovider/plsql/item_pub/get_item/">
             <GET_ITEM>
                <Row>
                   <Column name="ORGANIZATION_ID" sqltype="NUMBER">101</Column>
                   <Column name="ORGANIZATION_CODE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">MyOrg</Column>
                   <Column name="SEGMENT1" sqltype="VARCHAR2">MySegment</Column>
                   <Column name="DESCRIPTION" sqltype="VARCHAR2">Upload 445</Column>
                   <Column name="PRIMARY_UNIT_OF_MEASURE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">Each</Column>
                   <Column name="PRIMARY_UOM_CODE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">EA</Column>
                   <Column name="ITEM_CREATION_DATE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">01/21/2014 09:22:35</Column>
                   <Column name="ITEM_UPDATE_DATE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">01/21/2014 09:22:35</Column>
                   <Column name="REVISION" sqltype="VARCHAR2">0</Column>
                   <Column name="REVISION_LABEL" sqltype="VARCHAR2">0</Column>
                   <Column name="REV_CREATION_DATE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">01/21/2014 09:22:57</Column>
                   <Column name="REV_UPDATE_DATE" sqltype="VARCHAR2">01/21/2014 09:22:57</Column>
                </Row>
                <Row>
                   ...
                </Row>
                <Row>
                   ...
                </Row>
             </GET_ITEM>
          </OutputParameters>
       </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>

    How can I get some columns based on the name of the column attribute?

    I tried to do this:

    bpws:getVariableData('getItemResponse','body','/ns7:OutputParameters/ns7:GET_ITEM/ns7:Row[$partIndex]/ns7:Column[@name='SEGMENT1'])

    and

    bpws:getVariableData('getItemResponse','body','/ns7:OutputParameters/ns7:GET_ITEM/ns7:Row[bpws:getVariableData('partIndex')]/ns7:Column[@name='SEGMENT1'])

    but I got this compilation error:

    Error (157): xpath expression "bpws:getVariableData ('getItemResponse', 'body','/ ns7:OutputParameters / ns7:GET_ITEM / ns7:Row [bpws:getVariableData('partIndex')] / ns7:Column [@name = 'SEGMENT1'])" appearing is not valid, because XPath query syntax error. The syntax error occurs when parsing bpws:getVariableData ('getItemResponse', 'body','/ ns7:OutputParameters / ns7:GET_ITEM / ns7:Row [bpws:getVariableData('partIndex')] / ns7:Column [@name = 'SEGMENT1']) expression XPath, posted on 112. The XPath query syntax was false; the exception was: anticipated :). Check the detailed origin described in the text of the exception message and verify that the XPath expression that is named in the error message is correct. The XPath expression is defined in the BPEL process.

    I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.7.0

    Thanks in advance,

    Bill

    Use an entitlement and copy node and you can get it to work by using the syntax below.

    Assign an expression of the copy below syntax: -.

    Query="/ns1:GET_ITEM/ns1:row[$index]/ns1:column[./@name='Segment1']"/ >

    Query = "" / client: processResponse / client: result "/ >"

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] (How to set values for the attributes 1) to create a file and 2) committing to the database?

    Hallo,

    in my tables and forms (created from VO istances) there are some areas for which, insert and update, I calculate and set the value programmatically when a record is created or updated.

    In some cases, I put the necessary values using the 'CreateWithParams' in the workflow diagram...

    In some other ones, I associate an action, a bean, a created button drag-and - drop operation 'CreateWithParams' of the istance VO...

      public String cwpButton_action() {
        BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
        OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("CreateWithParams");
        // here I calculate and set the needed params
        // ...
        Object result = operationBinding.execute();
        if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty()) {
          return null;
        }
        return null;
      }

    And is ok if I can calculate the values for the attributes before a new record is created.

    But the approach that I have used to define the attributes (for new and updated records) whose value should be caluclated after the user has filled in the fields, before committing to the database?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Federico,

    Let me first tell you that our code is activity masking errors (the cache instead of working on them).

    1. If (! operationBinding.getErrors () .isEmpty ()) {}
    2. Returns a null value.
    3. }
    4. Returns a null value.

    This means that you do not check the errors at all. You must at least print a log with the error message, you receive, if you get one!

    To solve your problem, you override the method prepareForDML() of the entity or entities in question. You can calculate and set the necessary attributes until they get engaged in the doDML(). Do not use doDML() because it is too late in the life cycle.

  • The Dimension members based on the attribute filtering

    Hi all

    In Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.2 classic Application, is there a way by which we can display values of members on data based on the attribute form; for example

    If we have the dimension entity having the list of universities and corresponding attribute category have values as medical, General and engineering.

    I want only members of entities on form having value attribute equal to the General category.

    Check this box: Selection of members

    See you soon... !!

  • How to calculate the sum of two digital form fields based on the selection of the checkbox.

    I have a form in Acrobat Pro who needs a custom calculation. How to calculate the sum of two digital form fields based on a selection of the checkbox. I have three number fields. Field-A and B are simple one or two digits. Field-C is the sum, or the total field. I want to field-C have a control box which, when turned on and off, just gives a. gives the sum of A + B

    _ Field - 2

    _ Field - A 4

    [check] _ _ field - 6 C

    [disabled] _ _ field - 2 C

    Thank you

    The custom field C calculation script could be:

    (function () {

        // Get the values of the text fields, as numbers
        var v1 = +getField("A").value;
        var v2 = +getField("B").value;

        // Set this field's value based on the state of the check box named "CB"
        if (getField("CB").value !== "Off") {
            event.value = v1 + v2;
        } else {
            event.value = v1;
        }

    })();

    Replace 'A', 'B', and 'CB' with the real names of the fields.
