calculate the lines of the nearby tables

Hi all

I have 2 tables, we're above the other on the page.   They are named "majtable" and "eductable", all rows from both tables are named "row" and all the cells to the columns to add are all named "determines".

Here's my formula in formcalc (event of calculation)

sum (majtable.row [*] .mhours [*] + eductable.row [*] .mhours [*])

It is is saved as dynamic and dynamic/interactive preview.

It won't add the cells determines for the two paintings together.  I can get a table to calculate or the other, but not both.  Should I rename the cells in one table column another thing than 'determines' (I didn't because the tables are called differently).

I have many, many tables that add very well through the pages and have several tables.  But it will not work.  I did wrong, or maybe there's a bug / the file is corrupted.

Thanks for any help!

Hello

The sum() function has parameters separated by commas. So, this should work:

$ = sum(majtable.row[*].mhours, eductable.row[*].mhours)

In addition you just use the joker for the stretch line.

Hope that helps,

Niall

    Hello

    I have a table as below:

    create table select TEST_CASETBL (ID, CASE_NUM, CASE_STATUS, CASE_SUB_STATUS, LAST_UPD_DTTM)

    112, 123-456', 'open', 'Work', TO_DATE (11 March 2015 13:00 ',' dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') of the DUAL union all select

    113, 123-456', 'Open', 'pending on the admin', TO_DATE (10 January 2015 15:00 ',' dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') of the DUAL union all select

    114, 123-456', 'Open', 'client expectation', TO_DATE (10 July 2015 09:00 ',' hh24:mi:ss' of dd/mm/yyyy) of the DUAL union all select them

    315, 123-456', 'open', 'Work', TO_DATE (September 15, 2015 10:00 ',' dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') of the DUAL union all select

    219, 123-456', 'Open', 'pending on the admin', TO_DATE (January 9, 2015 08:00 ',' dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') of the DUAL union all select

    651, 123-456', 'open', 'Work', TO_DATE (August 20, 2015 10:00 ',' dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL;

    I would like to calculate the duration total (days ideally) to CASE_SUB_STATUS, so have a set of lines:

    CASE_NUM of work waiting on admin waiting on customer

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    123-456 70days 6 hours

    Here is the explanation of the pattern:

    ex: for everyday business computing (timestamp timestamp of ID:651 - ID:219) +(timestamp of ID:315-timestamp of ID:114) + (ID:112 stamp - current_time) = 11 days + 21 days 22hrs 23hrs 36 days 9 hours

    still waiting on admin

    (ID:219 timestamp - timestamp of ID:315) + (ID:113 timestamp - timestamp of ID:112)

    still waiting on the client

    (ID:114 timestamp - timestamp of ID:113)

    I would appreciate any idea how to solve this, ideally as an SQL

  • Calculate the values in the table

    I have a table with several lines. have 2 input text in each row of the table. In the same vein, there is a field (outputText) whose calculation is based on the insertion of data from the other two.

    the calculation is performed correctly.

    the problem occurs when I have more q a row in the table. If you have 3 lines, for example, are calculated for a line (not being not not the first) to the other lines that this field is null / empty.

    I think that it does not have the iterator. Anyone help me?

  • Calculate the total in the table

    OK I searched the forums, and no matter what I do, I can't do it works again.  I had the script in the table home, but for some reason, it doesn't work because I changed the work tables.  Here are the details.

    I have a table that require a bunch of info to submit a purchase request.  I have a cell ask for quantity and the other cell (different line) ask the price and then I would like the 'total price' cell (different line) to calculate the total.  I had the script in the original table, but I had to make some significant changes to the table, so I started a new.  Now I can't get the script to work.  The field type is a decimal digital, difference?

    It is a FormCalc as a calculate event.  My script is:

    Form1. #subform [0]. Table3.Row5.Cell4

    * form1. #subform [0]. Table3.Row6.Cell4

    I recorded it in dynamic PDF.

    What Miss me?  Thank you

    I have sent the form of return of Joe with an explanation and a screenshot of what I changed.

  • Add more than 2 lines for a select statement without inserting rows in the base table

    Hi all

    I have a below a simple select statement that is querying a table.

    Select * from STUDY_SCHED_INTERVAL_TEMP
    where STUDY_KEY = 1063;

    but here's the situation. As you can see its return 7 ranks. But I must add
    2 rows more... with everything else, default or what exist... except the adding more than 2 lines.
    I can't insert in the base table. I want my results to end incrementing by 2 days in
    measurement_date_Taken on 01-APR-09... so big measurement_date_taken expected to
    end at study_end_Date...

    IS IT STILL POSSIBLE WITHOUT INSERT ROWS IN THE TABLE AND PLAYIHY ALL AROUND WITH
    THE SELECT STATEMENT?

    Sorry if this is confusing... I'm on 10.2.0.3

    Well, I don't know if this request is as beautiful as my lawn, but seems to work even when ;)
    I used the "simplified" version, but the principle should work for your table, S2K.
    As Frank has already pointed out (and I fell on it while clunging): simply select your already existing lines and union them with the 'missing documents', you calculate the number of days that you are "missing" based on the study_end_date:

  • Calculate the maximum value of the sub-table when creating using a structure of case and records the shift

    I have two 1 d arrays that contain cyclical information (a bit like a sine wave).  One that contains information about the position in degrees and another that contains the couple.  I would like to calculate the value of maximum torque whenever the station is within a certain range (for example, 30 to 80 degrees).  The beaches are repeated - that is why it is cyclical.   I use the function "in the range", a structure of the case and the shift records to build a new table with the values that are included in the beach I said - that was easy part (see attached VI).  I'm struggling with a way to calculate a maximum value for each sub-table formed when the values are 'in range '.   Your help is very appreciated.

    vt92 solution worked!  I agree that there should be a simpler solution, but your to works fine.  Thank you very much.

  • Search for the string in the string table and see the following value in the line

    Hi, I'm new I have LV and I do a Vi that read worksheet values and generates 2d channels of the same spreadsheet table. For the moment everything I need is a function that find specyfic string in this table and show the next value in a line. As:

    Table:

    a; b
    c; d
    f; g

    example: find the 'c '.

    VI shoud show "d".

    Concerning

    Not a bad homework problem.  Do it with pencil and paper.  Write your table and pretend you're the computer.  What you want to do (step by step)?  What questions do you have?

    Now that the translation a bit to computers.  You mentioned that the data is in an array of strings.  What structures (LabVIEW) work with tables?  [Do you know how to work with tables?  [Otherwise, review some of LabVIEW Tutorial material - see top right of the first page of the Forum].  What do you know about channels?  What questions you need to ask questions on the channels?  What do you know about string functions?

    Watch these things in some LabVIEW code, 'feed' some data and see what he does.  If it seems to do things "unexplained", you can try to look at the block diagram to run by turning the performance highlight (and if you don't know what that means, use the help of LabVIEW and see the tutorials).

  • How to calculate the height of LabelField when it displays in multi lines

    Hello friends,

    We use LabelField.getPrefereredHeight () to calculate the height of the label field. But he returned the same value when it is displayed online singel or multi line.

    Please help me for differing from the height of the label while displaying field multi-line and single-line

    Thank you very much in advance

    If the code is simple, then you might want to go ahead and post it.  I can't really speculate on exactly the problem in this case unless I see code.  It doesn't sound like you should not show the width and height of your Manager 1 however.  Here is an example of a sublayout of one of my managers:

        protected void sublayout(int width, int height) {
            int numFields = getFieldCount();        int availableHeight = height;
            int totalHeight = 0;

            for (int i = 0; i < numFields; i++) {
                Field field = getField(i);

                layoutChild(field, width, availableHeight);
                            availableHeight -= field.getHeight;
                totalHeight += field.getHeight();
            }

            setExtent(width, totalHeight);
        }

    This code is educating the Manager to use the full width so much to her and didn't use as much height as it needs (drunk on her children and adding up their respective Heights).  I don't know if this helps, but if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to post the code and we'll see what happens.

    Please help how to get a button on a jsf page to remove these two lines at a time.

    Concerning

    So, in your app (data model) module, you have a master relationship / typical retail:

    And the relationship between them is based on some ViewLink

    Now go to the ViewLink, relationship, accessor.

    Take a look at the Destination accessor.

    Generate accessor object to check and give a name Acessor

    Then go to the master VO, Java and Include accessor, the class generate a display line:

    Go to the class view Java generated line, you'll find a method with the name of the accessor of the previous step, in the form of:

    public RowIterator getYourDetails...or_whaterever_IsAccessorName..() {
    }

    Now, in the same Java class, write the following Java method:

    public void removeDetails(){
      RowIterator details = getYourDetails...or_whaterever_IsAccessorName..(); // it is RowIterator over all details
      Row r = details.first();
      while (r != null) {
          r.remove();
          r = details.next();
      }
    }

    This method on the Cilent export line Interface:

    Finally, pass the data controls and drop this operation on the form as a button...

  • How to include the total number of table one fact in another fact table to calculate the percentage

    I have a fact table in the grain of each document created in any organization, say the 1st table of facts. I have another table of facts (2nd fact table) seen those documents which are considered by different commentators. grain of this second fact table is so each review, even if I document in both IDs the fact table.

    Now, I want to calculate the percentage return documents reviewed. For this I need to divide count separate from the document of performance by the total performance document. Now this document of total performance can be obtained from the 1st table of facts, but I don't get how to bring this indictment in the 2nd table of facts to show the percentage.

    Please let me know if there is no ambiguity in my question, because I'm a starter in OBIEE.

    Thank you very much.

    then you can set new logical column with two columns of fact in the formula

  • Allowing the movement line temporarily on partitioned table

    Hello

    Using oracle 11.2.0.3 and have tables that are hash of composite range partitioned.

    We need to update the dates of theses for a small percentage of records 1 < %.

    Normally we have movement line enabled so that can copy the lines in the temporary table, update insert_table, remove lines concerned living table and replace them with the new dates of the partition.

    Another option allowing possibly temporariliy movement line.

    Thoughts?

    Thank you

    Is there any disadvanatges to allowing it for example from performance perspective.

    Haerd was a bad iade of have it activated - perhaps isn't so bad.

    Tom Kyte meets ALL these questions (and more) in this blog:

    https://asktom.Oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:35203106066718

    If never actually cause you a row to move, then there is zero overhead. All the movmement of line enable does is give us permission to move a line, if you do not ask us to move the line - extra "nothing happens.
    . . .

    Follow-up Friday, March 10, 2009-02:00 UTC:

    Is there something wrong? Only you can answer that you have any application that expects the rowid is constant for a line? If yes - then it is false, if not - then it's probably OK.

    Any overload? No, it's just allowed to change a rowid if you perform an operation that would have caused a rowid to change - alter table t shrink compact space, flashback table t to..., update t set partition_key = some_value_that_moves_row;

    You can change a table instantly to activate circulation line - whatever the size of the table - it'll be instant - you have no need to do advance if you don't want, fairly easy to add later...

    I recommend you to read the ENTIRE blog because there are many other issues that should relieve your concerns and good examples.

    As says this quote above if you have an application that expects the ROWID is constant for a line, then you might have a problem.

    ROWID is the way the FASTER to search for a line. Sometimes the ETL process are complex and multiple operations on a line by multiple, separate steps.

    You can often get huge performance gains in saving the values ROWID lines collections or tables of work/temp during ETL processing. For example, a query in PL/SQL can use ' RETURN ROWID IN... "to get all of the ROWID that affects the query.

    This set of ROWID can be used in the following queries to locate the exact lines directly without the need of ALL indexes or other search criteria: WHERE ROWID IN...

    If the ROWID has changed during the process, it would be disastrous if these processes are written in:

    1. Enter the current setting of moving the line

    2. turn off the movement of the line during the process

    3 re-enable line movement ONLY if it has been activated prior to the start of the process

  • How to calculate the difference in lines

    You can use the analytical function of LAG (or LEAD).

    For example, if Column3 is a DATE:

    SELECT column1, Column2, Column3

    , Column3 - (Column3) in ADVANCE ON (ORDER BY Column3) AS days_diff

    FROM table_x

    ORDER BY DESC - optionally Column3

    ;

    If you would care to post CREATE TABLE and INSERT instructions for the sample data, and then I could test this.

    Check out the Forum FAQ: Re: 2. How can I ask a question on the forums?

    Column1 and column2 play no role in this problem (except that appear in the output)?  If so, you will need to PARTITION BY in the analytical clause.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] Why the content of a line in my af:table disappears when I select a new line?

    Hallo,

    I created an af:table like this https://community.oracle.com/servlet/JiveServlet/downloadImage/2-12620067-7140/cmnt1.png following the advice that the kind has been suggested to me by Ashish (for details, see [ADF, JDev 12.1.3] how to display multiple records on the same page... not in a table, but display a form for each record)

    When the table is loaded for the first time, it appears correctly.

    But often (not always) when I select a new line, the selected line up to become "white" and its content disappears http://digilander.libero.it/flattit82/OTN_FILES/rowDisappearing.png

    This product especially if I change the value of 1 or 2 fields contained in the line.

    If I select several lines - one after the other one - the part visible AF: table may become totally white.

    Looks like a refresh problem.

    The table is in a tab.

    If I switch to the tab, then I it again once the table appears again correctly.

    Another thing I noticed: for example 2 rows have disappeared, I select an end of line I have empty in a required field: when I select another line, the popup "this field is required" appears in the row selected previously and magically all the missing lines are coming back!

    The problem seems to be less frequent if I set the selection table = none... but it is always present.

    You could you kindly help me to solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Federico

    Hi Federico

    See I've made a few changes in your application, this problem is due to your provision

    as there are a lot of line of the grid, groups, I simple used Panel of and provision of group only

    Download the Application
