  If I understand your question, when you launch the calendar app on your Mac since the update to El Capitan, the window size is too small.  Here's how to resize the default window size:

  1. The open calendar app, tap the lower right window.  When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the corner to resize the window to the size you want.
  2. Quit the application calendar.
  3. Relaunch the application calendar and the window opens to the new default size.

  This process is the same for most of the windows in OS X El Capitan.

  I know I could probably "" solve this problem by deleting the preference files, but I prefer not to have reconfiguration of a calendar from scratch if I don't have to.

  Problem: when I first open the app on my cell phone the size of the window is never held.  The width is usually, but the height is always écarquillée about 25% of normal.  No matter how, I leave the window when I close the application.  * only the width is retained, not the height *.

  I had the same problem of Troy.  I have not yet found a solution to this, but if I do, I'll come back to this thread and post an update.  It seems that all of a sudden, it stopped maintaining the size of the game when previously opened.

  Whenever my son trying to play games on his new laptop, the screen is reduced to half size. Its surrounded by a black border that is not part of the screen.

  Haha, thanks. In fact, I found a setting when I click on the properties icon and view called office 'opened in low resolution. Which seems to have solved the problem, despite all the buttons in photoshop are now a bit grainy, real images appear to be of normal size and are always at high resolution (not blurred as when I zoomed to 200%).

  100% or shrink to fit is usually best. Less than 100% will make images and text more small gradually.

  I want to upgrade my laptop Inspiron 17R N7110 with a SSD for Windows boot. I have only one place where the HARD drive is already integrated and I want to keep the HARD drive.

  Quit calendar.

  Then paste this ~/Library text in the Menu Finder > go > go to folder... window and select 'go '. This will open the folder library users.

  Then, open the Preferences folder in the library folder and move the file com.apple.iCal.plist on the desktop.

  Open an outbound/inbound session or restart and open the calendar. Health check.

  I just upgraded to OS X Mavericks for OS X El Capitan.  Until the upgrade, I've always been able to set the size of the 'Open' dialog PS CS6 and location, but it would seem that the option is no longer available.  What I get now is a window rather small (default).  I can resize and locate it, but it will not stick.  Next time I open the dialog box window is again at the default size and location.  I'm sure that there is probably an easy answer to this, but it is that I have not found so far.

  The size and location of the operating system open and save dialogs are controlled by the operating system.

  And MacOS 10.11 has some bugs regarding the size and location of these dialog boxes that Apple is still trying to solve.

  I always run Mavericks OS X Server and I try to update the server El Capitan, I understood only by processes of updating standard some services fail, so I decided to set up a new server of El Capitan.
