  on 'normal' office interfaces, you can set a default date format in the globalization settings. Currently I am working on an application JQM and I noticed that the same settings I have to format date in other applications, take effect.
  
  I read today in the 4.2 notes version, that somehow this question was a bit buggy. If this problem is corrected? I would firstly like JJ German date format. "" MR. YYYY "; (such that it works in office applications). How can I do? This entry is saved in the global settings.
  
  But whenever I want to put a date-picker-merchandise in this format, it changes again in 'YYYY-MM-DD' after registration. And I don't really want to enter a dml processing conversion function writing now.

  the item type of ' date picker (HTML5) "corresponds to the type of input HTML5 = 'date', which requires that the internal format of the value date must always be YYYY-MM-DD, but he returned to the browser to display the date in the format of the local operating system parameter.   I have problems affecting a default date on a page.

  I have 2 items in date picker (exact).

  P1_XX

  P1_YY

  P1_XX has an onChange = "doSubmit (); "and there is a branch to the same page.

  P1_YY has a condition, poster then only if P1_XX is not null.

  I'm trying to set a default value for P1_YY is based on the value in P1_XX.

  I've created a header after the process page that fires if P1_XX is not null.

  In the process, I tried

  : P3_YY: = P1_XX-14;

  also

  Declare

  date of T_DATE;

  Begin

  T_DATE: = to_date(:P3_XX)-14;

  : P3_YY: = T_DATE;

  End;

  Both give an error

  In your second attempt, I guess that problem is that you do not give good format mask function TO_DATE.

  Date of session format can be different that you use for the item date.

  It is also much easier to guess what the problem is if you post any errors you get.

  The ucmResponse object is a standard JSON data object, with the following convenience functions added:

  • getValue('value') look in the LocalData and result sets to get a response value.
  • getRow ('resultSetName', index As Integer) Gets the line in the specific set of results at the specified index in an associative array (hashtable) of pairs name / value.
  • findRowIndex ('resultSetName', 'column', 'value') returns the first index of the row in the result set when the column is equal to the specified value.

• Popup calendar with time date

  Apex 3.2

  I have a report updated which requires one of the columns to have a pop up calendar displays the date and time.

  My sql for the column is currently

  APEX_ITEM. DATE_POPUP (7, null, a.export_time,'dd.mm.yyyy hh)

  I also tried

  APEX_ITEM. DATE_POPUP (7, null, a.export_time,'dd.mm.yyyy hh24:mi:ss)

  and also I tried application of format mask to the column in the report attributes.

  Unfortunately, none of this has worked.

  I see that the normal date, without the element of time picker

  I can't use jquery here and it is again Apex 3.2

  If I remember correctly, I hit this same problem before.

  I could not solve it, but for the workaround I created two other columns (selection lists) to the report for the hours and minutes.

  Then after submit I concatenate the date picker, hours and minutes selection list select value list and convert it to a date and he stored database.

  Well there you go. You have to put something in for 'table.column'. I've only used because that I don't ' know the columns in your area. If you need get a column of your dw.credit_subject_area and put it instead of 'table.column '.

  This is why it is important to show what you did and not to assume that you did what asked the suggestion. Try again.

  (3) also, does anyone know if it is possible to deploy a web file - determinations.war that contains additional internal application code? What we are trying to do, is provide a single war file that holds not only the code for the determination of the web, but also all the application code that encapsulates the OWD it contains. Right now it just doesn't work. I'm not sure what the conflict is exactly. The only way I seem to be able to get this work is by deploying the code into two separate files of war.

  (2) is caused because your data adapter plugin is not installed correctly. The container that contains your plugin should go to the WEB-INF/lib directory, and you must specify the full qualified class name in the plugin.libraries of the application.properties file property.

  If you have not provided a custom data adapter, Web determinations will configure and tie one by default to use instead, which is the base file. If you perform the WebLogic deployment as a war of unxeploded, you must configure the directory default data directory that the plugin will be used by specifying an absolute path that your determinations Web instance has read/write permissions for in the application.properties file xds.file.path property. In your case (1) is mainly caused by (2) because if your data adapter has been loaded correctly by default you do not at all over.

  With regard to the (3) Yes it is probably possible, provided that you do not have library conflicts. How it's done really depends on what are these additional customizations.

• Game for the field's default date

  When we click the date field, we see today. I like when the user clicks on the date field, they see only the first year.

  It is stored in the DB IdcColl1 or IdcColl2 tables (if engine DB FullText Search indexer) and the table would be IdcText1 or IdcText2 (if an indexer OracleTextSearch is used). It is these tables that store the data of all content and are referred to as / interrogated when a FT research is called of the Complutense University of MADRID.

  b. how the indexing will be done?

  Indexer would have extracted the content in the case of mechanism of indexer FT all data and store them in the above mentioned tables in DB. It is stored in columns of type BLOB in the extraction process would make an insert for each piece of content that is being processed when Collection rebuild Cycle / program of automatic update is turned on.

• Oracle UCM - working with forms

  I have a question about the use of forms in Oracle UCM. I have a requirement to display a form on a Web site and the fields that the user fills out the form stored in Oracle UCM some how. I played with the form editor and I did a form. I see that I can map results in the content server metadata fields.
  
  Is it possible to use this utility to create a file that is checked in the content server when the form is submitted. Is there a better way to do what I'm trying to accomplish.

• Format of date in Oracle 10 g XE

  I'm using Oracle 10 g XE on Windows Vista and I'm curious to know what determines the date format.
  
  According to section globalization in the Oracle installation guide NLS_DATE format is defined by NLS_LANGUAGE. In my database, the NLS_LANGUAGE is American, the NLS_TERITORY is America and all other settings NLS_ * are empty (default).
  
  Since I expect the default date format to be me-dd-yyyy.
  
  However, when I run sysdate SELECT FROM dual date is reported as dd/mm/yyyy and it is the default format, when I used SQL Developer and when I used the command-line SQL * more. Obviously something else is to determine the date format, but what?

  Your settings are dependent on the client NLS_LANG.
  They come from (assuming Windows) o/s locale.
  This means in Western Europe by default 'American_America.WE8MSWIN1252 '.
  This makes the default NLS_DATE_FORMAT jj-mm-aa.
  You can replace this in the registry, or implement a logon after trigger.

  I installed Oracle UCM 10 gR 3, Site Studio 10 gR 4 and Webcenter 11 g. Now my problem is how to get WYSIWIG (WCM Portlet), created at the University Complutense of MADRID to be found in webcenter spaces.
  
  I understand after reading a few articles, it's the only way I can communicate is through WSRP (CIS and CPS), if it's the case u can suggest what is the difference between them and the one that is best for an Intranet Application. Please also provide an example for the portlet and steps to install locally.

  Hey Pradeep.

  You have many options to extract the contents of UCM in addition to CIS and by extension CPS WebCenter. The best article on the subject can be found here (if you have not already read): http://blogs.oracle.com/fusionecm/2010/04/oracle_ucm_integration_with_we.html

  To more directly answer your questions, the difference between CIS and CPS is that CIS is the lower level APIs making communication with the Complutense University of MADRID. It serializes your request across the and manages response data that comes packing back up as an easy-to-use objects. CPS relies on the CIS as its backend to allow portlets to communicate with the Complutense University of MADRID.

  For an intranet application, you have many options. Records management, I would recommend a combination of the taskflow of document library with a couple of CPS portlets (my workflow tasks, etc.). To retrieve content to display as part of an intranet "site" I would exploit the content Presenter taskflow.

  If the content to retrieve active 10gr 4 Site Studio I would recommend instead that you roll your own simple content portlets. This is what we ended up doing to Fishbowl and reused them to great effect implementation of several intranet portals for different customers in a very short time.
