• Closing sound app mysteriously disappears

  I just got my TouchPad earlier this week.  I was show anybody I get lucky and the only feature that won over even the most hardened skeptical of Tablet, is the "yeepeeee" sound made when closing an application. He mysteriously disappear one day, replaced by the sound 'wooosh' when you close the application normally.

  Note that the sound "weeee" I'm missing is not the "woosh" sound made when you just drag an application open to the top of the screen to close. It is the sound produced when you drag the app open to the bottom of the screen (how he made the sound of an elastic clamping), release, I look at catapult it to the top of the screen.

• Mysterious disappearance of NIC

  My NETWORK card disappeared mysteriously my lenovo g560 it isn't in Device Manager or network cards, I tried to install the driver, but it won't continue running because it does not detect the wired Lan interface, wifi works fine but wired connection is not possible. I use WIndows 7, I installed just to test ubuntu wubi and I was surprised that it works fine on ubuntu.

  System Restore is not an option that I already tried nothing happened even on an earlier point.

  I also tried Repair (refresh) installation of windows 7, but still not detected, I've tried programs like everest to try to detect it but no luck.

  Please, I have ideas, help me. I don't want to reformat my computer everything because of my data and programs, it is a hassle to install all of them again.

• Calibri fonts missing on the new iMac

  Hi all, thanks for your support.

  I'm an amateur edition of a newsletter of club with InDesign (Creative Cloud 2015). It's a very simple four-page document that I export to PDF and send it to a small local printer. I inherited the previous editor three years InDesign file; I simply copy the file and void content each month. The file has always used Calibri and time of fonts.

  Today, I started my first edition of the newsletter with a new iMac (OS 10.11). Uh-oh: the entire text of Calibri is highlighted pink.

  I'm not at all a design pro, and I don't know how to work the fonts.

  Other factors:

  • I had my old iMac, Office: Mac 2008.
  • I don't feel strongly want you with Calibri, if there is an easy way to move on.
  • I see Typekit in 2015 of CC app. He can help me?

  Can you give me simple steps to activate certain font without serifs in this file, so I can spend?

  Very easy, actually. In the Type menu, select search for a police... Highlight Calibri in the list and choose replace from the list below. Check the box "Redefine Style when changing all", too. Click on change all. You may need to perform some replacement operations, replacement of each style or weight of Calibri with Museo (Calibri italic, bold, etc.).

• Why don't I have a "Recently deleted" folder in my Notes?  I'm pretty sure that I've improved my Notes app (I can make bulleted lists and draw).  A note has mysteriously disappeared yesterday and I want to try to get it back.

  An important point missing yesterday... poof!... in the air.  At one point, I used the search field in the Notes and the note missing that presented themselves.  But, now, it disappeared again.  I can't find anywhere.  In the search for a solution, I see that I should have a folder called Notes in "recently deleted".  I don't.  I think I have the improved version of Notes because I can make checklists & draw.

  I looked in all folders.  I have now switched off Notes for all accounts where it had been activated (no Notes existed in these accounts).  On my Mac, on the navigation on the left of the application Notes (files), I: Notes from iCloud, on my Mac and my Notes to gmail.  On my iPhone, the list of files just a pointed iCloud and on my Notes from the iPhone.

  Bottom line:

  To this, I have been for over 2 hours now.  I'm willing to give up the missing note (unfortunately), but really want to know where my "Recently deleted" folder is located (don't know if I'd ever).  If you tell me to reset my phone or digging through backups as a last resort, please explain step by step and let me know what I could lose it making.

  Update: I have just disabled my gmail account note on my Mac so that both (phone and laptops) Notes apps list the same folders... for only iCloud + on my Mac / On my iPhone.

• Mysterious disappearance audio

  Hi, I'm re-editing of a film that I cut on first cs5.5 awhile back. I just made a few adjustments, it reproduced and noticed that some audio wav files did not produce sound even if the waveform shows. I checked the original wav hard disk files, but they would not also produce the sound. I closed the program, rebooted, did a couple of inserts, but is still more than wav files would not play in the source monitor, timeline or files of original hard drive). First eat my files? These wav files are not synchronized with any video is not a problem of pluraleyes. This has never happen before. Anyone familiar with this mystery?

  It's very embarrassing. I use my Photoshop App on 2 devices, my laptop and pc. Not sure if this is what causes the problem, but wheterver I connect to my pc or laptop on another day, all my disapear of typekit fonts, and I need to add them manually. What is the point of cloud synchronization, if it does not work properly. It was fine before that the major update of CC. BTW, after some updated, I found out some fonts called Orbiton has been added to my sync. What is going on?

• My save as pdf dialog has mysteriously disappeared. How can I get that back?

  I use Illustrator CS5 on a Mac in the Mavericks. I did a bunch of images using a model, and now I'm eager to make my images in pdf format. I'm going to 'File' > ' Save as ' and select "Adobe pdf" and then click Save. This is used to bring up a separate dialog window asking me things about how to save the pdf file, but that has disappeared. I'm also using an external monitor on my MacBook Pro, and I think that it is the culprit. I'm saving my individual layers so that I can turn power button in Adobe Reader, but this feature is not available without the dialog box. Any suggestions on how to get it back? In addition, without the dialog box Illustrator will emit beeps at me if I try to use it. I have to hit enter on the keyboard to save the PDF with the default settings.

  Looks like the dialog box's off-screen. You can try to reset the preferences by using Cmd-Opt-Shift on restart I. That could bring back to the current screen.

  The problem is:
  When I press my buttons, the text in the scroll disappears. Everything is set so that it should not be possible to press the same button twice, however.

  The situation in brief is as follows. I have 4 scenes and 4 buttons, each button link to respectively another scene / page. The buttons are all in movieclips. I have 4 different movieclips all containing all the buttons. The 'nieuws' movieclip 'nieuws' page - button in the movieclip gets 'off' by dissociation there and so on and so forth. On each stage, I put the movieclip with the off button on the top, with the function "swapDepths". The other clips are rendered invisible by the '_visible = true' + 'delete this.onEnterFrame;' function.

  Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

  I'm not a developer but a graphic designer. Dunno much about AS2. I bought the photoslider and textscroller on FlashDen and thought I had this project Finns fairly quickly, but I think "I'm almost there" for already many hours now.

  It would be useful to see your button code.  (not many will download your fla.)

  But if you use a gotoAndStop(), you're in trouble.  you might be able to solve your problems of labelling the images just before your current target frames and placing a stop() in your current target frameworks.  then use the gotoAndPlay() to the marked frames.

• Centro and mysterious disappearance of HotSync

  I use a Verizon Center on an Intel Mac v.10.4.11. In order to synchronize with iCal and AddressBook Mac, I use Missing Sync for Palm OS v.6.0.4.

  I recently started to the top of my Mac and noticed that the icon in the dock for HotSync Manager had changed to a question mark, which means that the location of the actual application was unknown. I searched my machine and found a file (in a place I'm saving myself for the files, I'm not sure I want trash yet) containing an earlier version of the Palm OS software that I had used with an old m515, I used to own. I took the HotSync Manager to this folder application and moved to the current Palm OS application folder in the Applications folder on my hard drive. I received the following error message when you try to start HotSync Manager:

  Failed to launch application

  The application 'HotSync Manager' could not be launched because of a shared library error: ""<>".

  I don't quite know what the next step is, since Missing Sync for Palm OS will not start now. Help, please! I know that this will eventually become a problem, because my Centro acted weird lately, and I'm going to need my software based on the Office for the full backup I need it to be. Thanks for any assistance with ideas on what to try.

  Well, so to think I'm a patient person! I forced Missing Sync to stop smoking, disabled Antivirus Norton autoprotect, turned off the firewall of Mac and restarted. I then started Missing Sync up again once and voila! Everything is OK, in place and up to date, much to my relief. Thanks for everything looks, and I hope the information is useful if someone else has similar problems.
