Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it will play on my computer?

I have a Gateway laptop with specs:

Microsoft Windows Vista, Intel Core 2 Duo processor t6400, 2 mb l2 cache, 2 GHz, 800 MHz

Memory: 4 GB DDR2
Video: Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
Hard drive: 320 GB

Will this game on my PC? Help please, I want to play this game but don't want to buy this game whether it won't play! Also, why everyone says things about video cards? What is a video card? Why do you need 1?

With integrated graphics, this will probably double run, but probably not too well. On video cards... basically, you need a higher video card end of run of higher end games. Most of the computers that you get will come with a video card pre-installed that will work very well, but not for games. You can buy a pretty good card for about $100 these days, unless you use a laptop computer (you cannot change the video card in the laptop).

    Hello

Check with the support to make the game and ask in their forums known issues.

Who is the only drive that can't read or are there problems with some or all?

    ---------------------

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
    correctly.

    After the foregoing:

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward

  • Flash video no longer will play on my computer

Well, then there is a strange problem. Videos YouTube play perfectly well. However, flash on all other websites videos will not play. I tried IE, Chrome, and Firefox, and these videos will not play on any of them... which leads me to believe it's an OS problem.

I had this problem before and after a week or two, that he went. However, now that it's happened again, I had enough.
I have not installed anything new lately, so I don't think it's a conflict of a software or something like that.
I tried to install the latest Flash and it does not solve the problem either.

I think that Firefox and Chrome can be set to use the PCs proxy server settings as IE would.

Then look in the [connections] tab.

    a Proxy is configured it?

Note what he says about Dial Up is not using these settings.

Always gives you something to go and try at least. Hope its success.

There is no mts converter software from Microsoft but you can use your favorite search engine and download a third-party converter to convert some .mts in another format.

  • Why some DVDs will not play in my computer DVD player?

I have a small collection of commercial DVD movies.  Most of them come from the place of the U.S. market, and some come from Asia... He play ALL these DVD in my Phillips DVD player that is connected to my TV.

But only some of these DVD will play in my DVD player which is in my computer Dell Inspiron 531 with Windows 7 Ultimate edition.  This computer has a DVD/CD SAMSUNG HD161HJ SCSI disk drive.

Some of the DVDs that will play on my computer are the American market, and some of them are of the Asian market, so I don't think that this has nothing to do with why some of these DVDs will not play on my computer.

DVDs that play fine in my Phillips DVD on my TV player that will not play on my computer don't yet seem to close at play on my computer.  The DVD that will play on my computer liquidation (you can hear the noise) in the DVD player in 20 seconds and they start playing automatically in Windows Media Player... but I welcomed all others who won't have to sit in the DVD player for several minutes each in my tests and nothing happens... There is no wind sound and all nothing is happening on the computer screen.

This doesn't seem to be a problem with the driver software for the disk hard because some of the DVDs will play.

None of these DVDs are buckled and all of them are clean.

I tried two or three times test each of DVDs that won't play, the removed from drive and put them back in.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you

    NuMetro

    Hi Dale,

Although I never had no problem with the DVD or the CD I burned on PC, I think you're going to probably the same thing, that I've been with this internal DVD/CD player, is not a software problem, but just the characteristics of a lower quality DVD/CD player, and it isn't necessarily the symptoms of a dying man in car , but just a stock car low quality that some computer manufacturers cut corners with.
The drive in the computer that I was referring in this thread is a DVD/CD SAMSUNG HD161HJ SCSI disk drive. Which may or may not be identical or similar to the reader, you have problems with, but the computer on which the reader is underway is a Dell Inspiron 531.
Through the information that I've gathered on this thread and on another forum, I came to the conclusion that it's just a cheap player who gives intermittent performance recognizing various DVD, but as I said, the drive I troubleshooting always recognize DVDs and CDs that I burned in it... It was just the DVD movie that I have problems with.
I dug my loyal reader DVD LaCie and plugged and I had no problems with him acknowledging and play ONE of my DVDs on this machine, which proves that the problem has nothing to do with the software system or DVD player software, as in the case suggested by someone else on this thread.
Just buy yourself a Firewire drive or USB-2 DVD decent and you're probably fine.

Looks like you have created a data CD.

You need an Audio CD (music) for playback in a standard CD player.
(an exception to this rule would be if you had a CD player that has been
compatible with the files MP3 and you burn a CD of data with MP3s)

    See the following article...
