• Multiple camera problems in first CC v7.1.0 (141)

  I have the CC of first edition and it automatically updated a few days ago at v.7.1.0 (141), but since the update, I tried to create sequences of several cameras, nest in a target sequence and instead of just displaying 1 layer of vidoe and target layer 1 audio in the sequence, it shows all videos and all sound from the camera multiple sequence elements.  Because of this, I can activate is more multi-camera editing.  Can anyone help or anyone else having similar problems?  I use a MBP OSX (v10.9), 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB of RAM.

  The 'selection' icon related selected or not? You can find on the top right of your timeline. Toggling it allows you to drop a nested sequence (eg. multicam) on a timeline as either a single nested element or view developed with all clips showing that, looks like you're talking about. • Random disconnection of Wireless 2.4 GHz every 24 to 48 hours - WRT1900AC v1 latest firmware

  My ip cameras, nest thermostat and other 2.4 GHz wireless devices lose connectivity to the router every 24 to 48 hours.

  Is there a fix I can create in the configuration or buy a timer to recycle power on router once a day?

• SEQUENCE HAS DISAPPEARED

  All of a sudden, everything I click in first pro has been ineffective.  Th program has not been frozen just wouldn't do anything when I click.   I tried to save and close, but could not. Had to do a force quit.  When I opened the first time, all the assets of the project were always there, but the sequence was missing.  BTW, it's a sequence that comes from a camera nested multi session

  They are in the media Panel?  Search for them.  If they are there, double click it to open.

  Try also the backups and backup automatically.

• Why do I get this jerky playback?

  Long time reader, first time poster, I'll do it is short and sweet. Here are my specs:

  27 "IMac

  Intel Core i7 3.4 GHz

  24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB

  SSD 1 TB internal drive of Fusion

  
  

  I work in a fairly large (images of 1 TB) 4 k mixed with 2 k project. It is a 3 simultaneous shoot camera, so I need multi-cam. I have two that WD Caviar Black 7200 RPM external drives. I also have a Lacie 1 TB disk Thunderbolt.

  Because the end result will be 1080 but maybe 2 k in the future, I decided to import all the RED images in native mode (as opposed to the transcoding to prores 1080 format). All my clips are 1920 x 1080, with multi-cam nesting in 1080 as well. RAM is assigned to first, other 4 GB 20 GB.

  No matter what I tried, I still get jerky in the project... reading especially with multi-cam enabled, even in the setting of my resolution of 1/4. What I tried:

  All media on the drive WD 01... Project, Cache, Preview, Scatch disk WD 02... Internal SSD for the OS and applications: Terrible performance

  All media divided into WD 01 and 02 WD... Cache, the OS and applications on the internal SSD flash drive... project, preview, scratch on WD 01. I also tried the same thing but with the draft, preview and scratches on my Lacie 1 TB Thunderbolt and internal SSD: a little better than all media 01-disk.

  At this point, I feel like I tried every variation from will the MEDIA, Cache, project files and Scratch/preview but nothing seems to give me a fluid reading constantly. I'm going to brief periods where it is very smooth, but choppy and then shortly after. I would understand if I try to edit in 2 k or 4 k, but all my calendars and the nests are 1080. Even if I have pre-made sequence, it barely helps. Is it possible that I need more RAM, a better card GFX, better external hard drives? Help?

  First EDIT: Updated to the latest version of 2014. No major applications running outside the first. All my drives have at least or near 50% space available.

  Basically, they recommend only the file on the system/OS disk... and then put things on other readers by the needs of the 'good'... some must quickly connects, an only couple of fast connections for most.

  Images is essentially a one-way operation unalterable and export out is essentially a read operation, so those can be necessary on somewhat slower connections as long as they are not on the SAME drive on a slow connection. Such as tell the PNY 128 GB high speed USB3 flash-drives to an external port USG3.0 on your computer. I adapted it from the other users, and this works well enough for my 1080 p images. I export to one of the several disks, that i've got in external boxes connected by USB. It is sufficient, but not flamboyant.

  Everything else... files, database, previews, cache... There is a TON of work in reading/writing courses constantly while playing with these project. Drives up to 7200 rpm or faster 'standards' or SSD, connected internally through SATA-II or better, or external via eSATA II and Thunderbolt connections are necessary. Close read/write speeds supported appropriate for work in the massive tests they did what above, none of the available Firewire or USB2/3 connections mentioned site. The speeds of "burst" claimed by the manufacturers are performed on absolute most ideal landscaping with UMM... size right? ... of data packets to get the best numbers. They are not the usable numbers for requests to read/write strong and constant as the Adobe DVA through the machine.

  Don't forget... during playback... PrPro "reads" the source footage including when to jump in & on each clip, throw in all your instructions for Assembly, color changes, transistions, effects, EVERYTHING... and on-the-fly built the image you see on the playback screen. It does not have something so he can just 'read' the disc, does it on the fly. Even when you glimpses of a section of a timeline, any change you do... these glimpses are exceeded.

  That's why we all need machines that both have a material quite solid on the mobo, AND a lot of high speed drive connections. Best is tell a table of 4/5 disc drives of 2 TB in RAID 0 or 5 for the cache of d-base, files, projects, & previews... and who may even have media (original film) on it.

  I have a small question:

  How can I EXCLUDE forms of mouth followed al to camera, but still followed on everything?

  I couldn't find out how to attach all forms of mouth to a fixed anchor point, if this is the way to go.

  Hey Max, just to confirm... by mouth shapes, do you mean neutral, surprised expressions and the smile that is triggered when you make these expressions in front of the webcam? If so, simply remove these three layers. If you mean the movement of the any expressions in the Group of the mouth, try to reduce the value of the parameter of Parallax for the behavior of face in the properties panel. If you mean something else, please provide details. I also noticed you have the look left and look right subpuppets/groups outside the head. Was it because you didn't move them when you moved your head? You could also just keep them in the leading group and then set the strength of Position of head, head strength and scale values of resistance to tilt to 0, but it is up to you. Thank you.

• No audio for cam multi-nested sequence

  Confused about how this should work cannot so someone please double check these steps?  I'm getting no audio to a sequence of nested active multi-came.

  Sequence of source:

  Video track 1-3

  Audio track 1-3 (silence)

  Track audio (active) ext 4

  I had to synchronize all these manually in the source sequence. Once synchronized, I cut 1-3 audio track and the track audio left 4 active.

  So, I wanted to create new multicam sequence:

  1 has created a new sequence

  2. drag the source in the new sequence sequence, thus it nesting

  3. right click on the new sequence and enable the multi cam

  4 no sound on the new track sequence

  If I created a new multi cam sequence leaving the first (i.e. selecting clips, activate sequence cam multi and audio sync) and create a new sequence, I have no problem getting audio.

  If you want not audio tracks 1-3, try remove these titles rather than their inhibition. I think that if the audio that is currently on the A4 is moved to A1, then you will hear once he nestled and enabled asa a multicam sequence.

  This might be (and I hope is) a question with several solutions.  I worked on a wedding ceremony and cut it into editing multicamera.  I have finished all touching up and am ready to send to will coloring, but I got a little carried away and had done some color work in first Pro CC with the Lumetri Looks.  I can't understand how unnest sequence clips and remove the effect or find the effect of the nested element.  I'm also curious to know if this would even transfer at will through XML, and it's really not worth you worried about?  Color will probably be something similar to what gave me Lumetri, but I'd rather have done with more detailed ranking checks. 

  As a question, is possible to unnest a sequence but keep multicam editing?

  Press SHIFT + F when, in the multicam sequence.  Who will open the sequence of origin on the same chassis.

  I recently bought an iMac. Years, I edited video on Windows using Sony Vegas and Vegas Home Studio. My camera, the Panasonic Lumix TS2, sequences AVCHD video. Vegas has no problem import and edit files .mts AVCHD from a camera or a hard drive so it was not until I tried to edit a video in Premiere Pro, received the error message "type cuts not supported" and has done some research that I realized the folder structure is Christiane both at work with AVCHD. From what I can tell, the files must be in the PRIVATE sector > AVCHD > BDMV > STREAM > Configuration xxxxxxx.mts to import via the media browser.

  Here's my situation, I have hundreds of .mts files in separate folders, delivered with the photos of the same day or event. I'm on an iMac i7, using an enabled version of first Pro CS5.5 of the Master Collection. Is it possible that I can import and edit these files natively? And in the future, is there a way around to transfer the entire folder structure whenever I want to copy the video files on my hard drive? I use the bridge to import photos and it will just extract the video files of the card and plop them in the same folder. Having to transfer the videos separately, sounds like a ridiculous job around in our modern era. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  AVCHD. MTS files should import just fine without the folder structure. You lose some metadata, code time and covering, but beyond that, the files themselves should work properly.

  You have the presets of AVCHD footage? It is possible that you have lost the ability to import material; PR has a bad habit (especially on Mac) to obtain the format-amnesia when you update. Recently updated to 5.5.2?

• How to exclude information from the camera while maintaining other metadata?

  If I use the "Save for Web & Devices" module of Photoshop, I get a list drop-down list of options for how I want the metadata included in the file. I often use one labeled "all except camera Info. Is it possible to get these options when you export from Lightroom? It seems that, with Lightroom, it's all or nothing (at least takes everything except the copyright line). Is there anything outside this small box in the export module?

  Download the plugin metadata Wrangler of Friedl, or post-process the images with EXIFtool.

• GREP styles - excluding whole words

  A project of datamerge we were experimenting GREP styles to see if we can get the text to change the names automatically.

  We basically data that came with "Firstname Lastname" in a few places. In only one of the occurrences we want to remove 'Lastname' then thought we would experience a GREP style for this. We use a character with a fill of none style to achieve.

  So we have "Dear Firstname Lastname," and you want to make a style of GREP that is just "Lastname", but leaves the "Dear" and "First name" single. Targeting "Dear" and "First name" with a GREP style was easy. "Dear\s\S +" is "Dear" followed by a space, followed by anything that is not a space until it reaches the next space. However, applying the same logic to exclude it was not so easy.

  We tried a postanalyse to say look for "Dear" followed of a Word and exclude them, then apply the style to the rest of the line. We started with (? < = expensive) \S+ who worked to exclude just 'Dear' and apply the style to the rest of the line, but when we added the rest of the expression to create (? < = Dear\s\S +) we got nothing? We were able to get (? < = Dear\s\S) \D+ to work. It excluded "Dear", more space and the first letter of "Lastname", but we can't seem to find a combination that will include the whole second word ("Firstname").

  Maybe it's that there is an even easier way to do that simply target the first two words of a paragraph, but we have not been able to find a way to do either. Maybe we're just too ask many GREP styles and it is not possible... but we approach!

  I know it's probably easier to address this issue in the data by doing a new field in advance, but we don't have that luxury this time.

  OK, I guess that I do not take your sense of the first time through. Can I use the deprivation of sleep as an excuse?

  Of course, that's just my opinion, but I think that if there are some styles to make, either nested or GREP, we should limit the paragraph style so that those paragraphs that would be greetings, even if it means using a realtionship of style based on the isolate. Given the description of the problem where the paragraphs seem to begin with 'Dear', I'd be willing to bet that there no cases of paragraphs in this position in the merger that doesn't start like that.

  And I really don't like your solution.

  Over the years, I did three or four serious attempts to update to snow leopard, but came back each time.  This time I am El Cap. on a partition but I see the finder search is still contaminated by the archaic messaging objects.  Were there no progress in a method to exclude a finder search without disabling the search in the Mail mail app.

  It seems that you are willing to search for items on your Mac without getting an overabundance of e-mail in the list. I'll be happy to help you.

  What I found is that you can add 'gender' of items that you want to exclude specifically. At the end of your search, add '-kind: mail» When I used this addition, my research documents showed on my Mac which contained my search criteria and excluded emails from the list provided.

• The iPhone camera 6 (front and rear) and flashlight not working not

  I am a user of the Iphone 6 (128 GB) - purchased in December 2015. Version 9.2.1

  For two days my camera (front and back) as well as the flashlight will not work.

  • I see a black screen at the opening of the camera - can make changes to the, front/rear, HDR mode (power), etc. - but nothing happens
  • When I try to open the flashlight, it crashes (the button on our extension of the home screen is simply not lit)

  I tried to restart my phone several times, but the problem persists. Please note that nothing happened 2 days back - I have not dropped my phone, in any case I don't see that can cause damage to the camera. All of a sudden it stopped working.

  Please suggest what to do.

  To exclude a software problem, set it back to factory settings, do not use a backup, manually installed personal data and test the camera feature.

• Protect nest wants several ports per device IP address

  Rather a strange this...

  I have 4 x nest protect smoke alarms or fire.  All seem to work properly and talk to each other.  I THINK (but I'm not sure) that they connect to nest/Google Internet because the software was getting updated.  So I do know that I have a problem to solve...

  I have configured each of them to have a static IP, and I put the port forwarding for each IP address to have Public and private TCP and UDP ports 80 for device 1, 443 for camera 2, 9543 for unit 3 and 11095 for unit 4.  These port numbers were given to me by the support of nest.

  BUT - when I asked for confirmation that these four setting was correct, I received this statement:

  I understand that you have assigned port 80 of your first protection, 443 to your second Protect and 9543 for your third Protect (or a variant of it).

  Please forgive me for not giving you a complete example of what you need to do before that. As I said in the paragraph above, all ports apply to all devices.

  So if your static IP address for your 1st Protect is 192.168.1.10 will be assigned TCP + UDP 80, TCP + UDP 443, 9543 TCP + UDP and TCP + UDP 11095 to it.

  You must then do exactly the same for the following 3 nest protects you have. Thank you this is a bit tedious, but I assure you there is no additional configuration required for this.

  How is it possible to assign 4 ports on a static address of P?  When I asked this with the assistance of the nest, the response was "I'm really sorry to say this, but it was already not my support framework to help you as I have with the router I was using personal knowledge of port forwarding and hoped that it would be possible for you to apply my instructions using the provided Apple of instructions that I shared with you"

  Ideas anyone?  Or should I just leave it alone because it wouldn't even be a problem to solve?
