• Anyway, question of camcorder lenses

  I'm trying a new camcorder that features 10 x optical zoom.  I am zoom control with a remote control supplied with the camcorder.  Suspended from the ceiling, the camcorder does not move.  My paper (watercolor) is flat on my drafting table and it does not move.  I disabled the "face tracking" and set the focus of a bounding box in the center of the screen, I clicked to select the start.  The lighting is bright, so I doubt that this is a problem.  Image stabilization is turned off.

  Development is very broad at levels 1 to 4.  Another click of the remote control always takes the zoom level for first level 5, under discussion.

  Another click is always 5... but not to the point.  Another click, another blurry 5.

  More clicks, blurry throughout the six.

  More clicks - and development is reached in some 7 and 8s!

  so not at the point yet completely to the zoom level 10.

  I could understand if everything was blurred after the first 5, but I don't understand why development is reached again in some of the range of 7-8.  Is this normal or is at - it something wrong with the lens?

  Thank you!  You fixed it!

  It took through your instructions in manual mode (several times) as well as the selection of the 'TV Macro' mode so that it can work, and frankly, I forgot the order, but things are good now.

  I started with a f/stop of 1.2 but closing the f-stop to f/3.5 feel good accent however the range.  The second 5 is still a little soft, but not significantly enough now for me to return the camera.

  Thank you again once, I never would have dreamed of completing these steps as a solution.

  Hi, I hope that all lovers that you can help me clarify this point:

  I have older GIGASHOT camcorder since about 2008, but unfortunately I lost the charger [it might turn up, but there is no guarantee]

  update - my camcorder is 10V [ms in]-not too sure of the size of the input jack, but probably 2.5 x 5mm

  Remove the AC adapter and the battery pack to the camcorder, wait a few minutes, then

• Problems of camcorder Camileo H20

  Some time ago I bought the camcorder Camileo H20. It works well with one exception - update does not work with reliability. I will describe it more precisely. The camera has two modes of zoom: optical / mechanical that has a priority, and digital which takes place when the optical zoom reaches the limit. When I am running in the optical zoom range, everything works almost fine (almost, I don't expect a perfect quality of ~ 100EUR product), but when the camera's digital zoom, crazy things happens with development. It takes sometimes > 10 seconds in order to reduce the strong image. The problem occurs even when I zoom digital range only (I'm sure, zoom bar is clearly cut out on the screen). Being configured to maximum already, internal zoom lens camera should not touch the lens in such a case, but he does. I asked a friend who bought the same model of camcorder. He has experienced the same thing.

  Because the problem is with the range of the digital zoom, which has not broken lens, it's the firmware bug. Unfortunately I can't find new firmware for camcorder Camileo H20 on the Toshiba web site. The current (in camera) as follows:

  This message is addressed to Toshiba responsive and responsible staff who will deliver corrected firmware on the web site of the company (Toshiba offers firmware update for model Camileo H10, so a next to H20 shouldn't be a problem). If the answer will be "please visit our service center", I expect that (firmware updated) repair will be free as is plant bug present in all cameras with the same firmware, am I right?

  People say that Japanese companies dealing on the reputation and the quality of the products. I think that and wait for a response soon.

  I m really questioning the service guy who told you that who should have access to this firmware updates if it is the Toshiba service?
  Camileo H20 firmware is not available anywhere I checked the area EU Toshiba driver Options page and there is no such firmware.

  I guess you should replace the cam if the warranty is valid in the case that I put t think it can be fixed.

  I have been informed by the barrel that my Canon MV530I is not compatible with Windows Vista (Home Premium) and video transfer, I need to use firewire, but they have not responded to my request for more information. I was wondering if the camera requires a firewire installled driver,

  I bought a 4 pin 4-pin IEEE1394 firewire cable lead taken - ilink (I assumed this is the right cable to use) and I put the camera to AV - DV out but when I connect the camcorder to my laptop it is not detected. I tried Windows Movie Maker and Arcsoft Showbiz DVD2 but neither sees the camcorder.

  I checked in Device Manager and the IEEE 1394 compatible OHCI host controller is reported as working properly and has the latest version of the driver.

  I have a video capture device SNAPSHOT of EZCAP USB 2.0 on order so that I can transfer my VCR VHS tape and I wonder if the connection of the camcorder AV out who would work as a last resort, although I prefer firewire.

  It's quite complicated. Laptop manufacturer is responsible for a lot of ports to work on the book and must guarantee that the ports work in accordance with the defined specifications.
  You use external peripheral part and want to use one of the ports on the laptop.

  In your case, the device is not recognized. So now, the question is where is the right address for help and support. Canon has better experiences with own products and probably they tested clean products, how to be recognized on the most used operating systems. My personal opinion is that the Canon should help you with this and offer good drivers if necessary.

  For example, I have an old Sony camcorder and when I connect it to the use of Windows XP Home, Vista or Win7 cam firewire cable edition is recognized immediately and I can transfer the material recorded on the HARD disk or use it for live recording on HDD and create different video files.

  It seems that the drivers for various multimedia devices of Sony are already included in Microsoft operating systems and devices will be recognized automatically. It is the same with my digital cam DSC-W200.

  Try to contact Canon again. they must have a solution for this problem.

  I created the DVD Qosmio G20 and this unit is probably more simple as on your F20. In any case if you carefully read the user for F20 manuals described therein:

  Video - in Port
  The port is used differently depending on the OS used in the computer.

  Windows XP Home Edition model: with the VIDEO-IN cable bundle, peripheral external such as TV, VCR, etc., can be connected to the computer and with WinDVR and WinDVD Creator Platinum 2 can be used to modify or view the entries.

  Media Center Edition model: with the cable to VIDEO IN cable or satellite set-top boxes can be connected to the computer to watch channels. Video not CAN NOT be retrieved for editing as in the model of Windows XP Home Edition.

  Now the question: which OS comes with your F20?

  Yes the Camileo HD supports SDHC standard.
  I tested it with the model PA4083E-1CAM. I put in a 4 GB SDHC Card and it worked.

  Follow the steps below to reset the camcorder:
  (1) turn off the camcorder.
  (2) remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter for 60 seconds.
  (3) Insert the battery or reconnect the AC adapter.
  (4) turn on the camcorder.

  Press the button to reset, using a small pin object did during 2-3 seconds, to reset the camera to factory default settings.

  If the issue is still unresolved, the camcorder will require repairs.

  I just tried to save a video from my camcorder to a DVD-R, but kept getting the message "disc not found" my computer is a Satellite 1900 and fortunately plays DVDs. but seems not to want to save them.

  Please don't forget that you can also burn DVDs with your laptop and not only display.

• Satellite P855: CD/DVD drive does not read 3 "Disc Camcorder

  I have a new Toshiba Satellite P855 model but can not get the CD drive integrated read/recognize 3 "discs of my Sony's Handycam camcorder.

  My previous laptop Aspire straight bed (as did older laptops) and currently have to use the Acer to import video footage on a hard drive.

  If I connect directly the Sony camcorder to laptop Toshiba (via USB) it won't always recognize the drive if I put it back in there.

  The Toshiba uses the W8 while software on Acer and other models previous I was using Windows7, but I do not see how it would make a difference.

  The drivers needed to connect the camcorder to Windows 7computer and transfer files are already included in the operating system. However, the USB streaming feature is not supported with the Windows 7 operating system. You can connect the camcorder using either A / V or i.Link cables can transfer video.
