camera card reader

My HP Pavillion 15 sleekbook has a digital media port on the side that does not read my Sony 64 mb memory stic, although it fits well. After being put on hold for a time inexcusible technology, I could hardly understand said that it would not work. Why not, and if not what will?

Lucky to have time to fully committed my life to the service of Yehowshua Jésus Christ.

Thanks much for this information.

The card reader installed in your system is able to read the 4 types of memory cards:

SD-Secure Digital card
SDHC Secure Digital Card high speed
SDXC Secure Digital extended capacity
MMC-Multimedia card

The one you are trying to use perhaps not the one above. Please check.

  • Alcor Micro Card Reader

When I tried to download pictures from my camera card reader memory chip does not recognize the memory chip. HP has a update driver for the card reader Alcor Micro, but it would not be installed. My computer is a HP Pavilion p6-2378, Win. 8.1, 64-bit, the Alcor Micro Card Reader Driver is for a 32 bit, so I was wondering if there was a way I could get a more recent program of Alcor Micro Card Reader because when I went to the Alcor society, they said that they only sold to companies like HP who built the computers. I was told by one of the technicians of HP to reinstall the Alcor Micro Card Reader since the recovery disks, but if the Alcor Micro Card Reader would not install new drivers why I would bother to reinstall. He don' your sense no. Is there any help out there?

Thank you for the additional information.

Have you tried to install the 64-bit driver for the card reader I have provided in my link above (64-bit driver)?

  • Lightning to a resolution of the camera the incompatible SD card reader image

I use the lightning to drive camera SD card with my iPhone 6 more (iOS 9.3.5) and MacBook Pro running Photos:

    Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

    Digital camera RAW 6.20 (856)

Digital Camera Support RAW 6200 (233)

Import RAW files from my Olympus EM10 on my iPhone, and then when I discovered the images in the Photos on my Mac I see incompatible resolution information.

These are two consecutive images taken with identical settings...

Drag the two images of Photos on my desktop (export in JPEG) then they have the correct resolution information...

Also interesting. If I import these pictures directly on my Mac via the built in card reader, I do not see this problem.

OK - when you import on an IOS device (the exact details are better ask in the forum iPad since it does not involve the Mac or Photos for the Mac somehow - it's strictly an IOS feature) in certain circumstances the maximum resolution is 2400 x 3200

Your best solution is to import directly to your Mac

  • Windows XP prevents me from installing the new hardware as my Canon camera and memory card reader.

original title: problem with new hardware

last week, windows xp prevented me from installing new hardware, namely a canon digital camera and a memory card reader. Although the system recognizes the material into the machine, when you are looking for auto install it asks me for the service pack 3 cd, which I did not. I never had problems, install new hardware before. Any ideas why this happens?

    Hello

    · What is the service pack installed on the computer?

    · What is the model number of the canon camera?

    · What is the exact error message that you receive with error code if any?

If you have installed service pack 3 on the computer then you can try the method and check them off below if it helps:

Change the registry to point to the installation of Windows XP Service Pack 3 files

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: How do I back up and restore the registry in Windows: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756

    a. Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box and then click OK.

    b. find the following registry key:

  • CF/MD card reader camera is not working now

CF/MD card reader camera does not work now. This has been "wobbily"from the beginning, but always worked til now. " There is no response when the card is inserted, and I found no way to update the driver - if this is the solution...

What is the model of the camera and the reader?

1 try to insert another card on the card reader to see if it works or try the card on another computer/card reader.

    2. the format of the memory card camera on the camera not on a computer, so that they cannot work by simply inserting a card reader.

    3. you can use the USB cable provided with the camera to connect to the computer. If the provided camera sofware is intalled on your computer, connect the camera and pressing the play button on the camera would have run the software and you will have access to your photos. Consult your manual on how to connect the camera to your computer. If you don't have the manual and the software, go to the support site for the manufacturer of your camera and you can download the software and the manual.

  • I installed my USB 2.0 card reader, but I can't find the pictures from my Nikon camera, where can I go?

My card reader USB for my SD card has a file name? or pictures come up to the high slot "my computer information" if so where? I don't know where to find pictures.  They just don't pop up on the screen, as they do on another computer.  My son is deployed in Germany and I'm using his computer to microsoft. I want to e-mail photos of his 5 daughters for him. It lacks a lot to them, but I get lost in this computer stuff.  Help, please.

Open computer on the desktop and click on one of the letters (relative to the reader). See who opens with the pictures on it. If any of the letters display pictures, the problem may be that the player does not support cards SDHC.

And the memory card in the camera is SDHC. If this is the case, you can buy a player that supports the SDHC

  • Why my lightroom does not find my file unless my camera card is in the card reader

I imported the photos from my camera card and created a collection.  I then remove my the USB card reader.  When I try to edit photos in lightroom, it says "file is not found."  It is the folder if I set my camera card in.  It seems that my collections are stored on the card in my camera (is this possible?), but I don't know how this could happen or how to fix it. Help?

    HI Robert,.

It seems that when you imported the images from the card you added in the catalog instead of making a copy. in the window at the top import, we have the option 'copy as dng', 'copy' , 'move', 'Add '.

choose copy, and then on the right, we will get the destination Panel. in which we can choose the destination in which we have to copy the images from the card.

    Thank you

  • Recently, I buy a Sony camera a6000.  I am currently using 2.5 Lightroon.  When I tried to load my raw files from a card reader to Lightroom, but failed as Lightroom could not read images.  Can anyone help?  Thank you, Eric

Recently, I buy a Sony camera a6000.  I am currently using 2.5 Lightroon.  When I tried to load my raw files from a card reader to Lightroom, but failed as Lightroom could not read images.  Can anyone help?  Thank you, Eric

    Upgrade, or -.

Convert raw DNG images using the Adobe DNG Converter program free of charge your Sony raw images. Then import the DNG versions in Lightroom.

"Adobe DNG Converter" is not part of Lightroom (or Photoshop), but a separate (standalone).

You "run" program, select the folder of images from Sony, select a folder for the output DNG files.

Using Photoshop | Digital Negative (DNG)

  • Aspire 5562 camera, touch pad and card reader does not

    Hello world!

I had an upgrade recently with my Aspire 5562 to Windows 7 and everything seems to work fine except the webcam, card reader and touchpad doesn't have function of scrolling even if I can use it partially. Anyone know where I can download the drivers? I don't see no 5562 support here in the drivers download page.

    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, this seems to be an older unit that is no longer supported by the system of drivers.

Online search for chipsets/hardware drivers with that you are having a problem probably will produce results.

  • My computer can't find my card memory cameras (or other card memory cameras) or card reader

I'm trying to upload pictures to my laptop Windows 7 but when I plug my Canon 400 d in my laptop, a 'negative' noise is done and I'm unable to find (this also happens with another Canon 400 d and a separate memory card) I am also unable to find my card reader (who previously worked fine) I tried with blank memory cards (memory compact flash) and those with pictures on any work! I also can't find the drivers to uninstall please help:(tout mon travail de ports USB fine, Merci d'avance!)

If I need to reinstall the drivers if you please could you tell me exactly which (there are many on the Canon site) thanks!

    Hello
Have you tried the steps that I mentioned in my previous post and check in your device manager on the status of the device?
Apparently, the card reader device needs a driver appropriate on the computer right now. You will need to contact the manufacturer for the Web site where you dould download drivers for your card reader.
    Hope this information helps.

and it will let you import pictures from camera sd cards and that's all, you can not install applications and run from it or the likes.

  • SD card reader not working not

My SD card on my HP Pavilion dv6-7014nr player no longer works. It was fine a couple of days, when I use it to transfer photos from my camera, SD card, but now, when I try to put my phone microSD (with adapter) is not how until in my computer (and the noise is not heard). I tried another microSD and it is not recognized or the other.

I checked the driver in Device Manager and as far as I can tell, it is up-to-date.

Any ideas? Thanks for the help!

Try reinstalling the SD Realtek card reader driver. You can do this via the Recovery Manager.

It would have helped a little if you had posted the installed operating system.
