• Web cam photos

  When I insert my chip of my trail cam, a message indicates that there is no file and does not show the photos.

• Roll in camera photo import does not

  Then my wife came to me and said her phone was strange. After investigation, I found that she had memory 0 left in the 'use' tab in the settings! Pursuit of the investigation, he said she had 2.4 GB of "messages". I didn't even know the messages could be "saved". So I decided to import all his pictures his phone on our PC (Acer 5250-0450 running Windows 7-64 bit) is turned off and plugged the phone on the computer and autoplay opened as usual, however it beeps and says "no images found on this device"... but here I am looking at 142 pictures in the camera, not yet on my computer , and autoplay is to say there is nothing there to import! It makes no sense at all. This leads directly to the question in the same sense of 'storage'... when I open iTunes with my wife's phone connected (that's me as well) it shows tons of used for the 'documents and data' and 'other' space, but there is no option to select theses of storage areas and make destruction or adjustments to recover any space (we both 5 phones gig so space is at a premium). I hope there is someone out there who has worked through these types of problems and can help my wife and I recover a semblance of space on our phones. My wife has only 7 apps and 1 gig of songs she listens to at work... There is NO REASON there should be 0 KB of memory on his phone!

  Space on your iPhone iTunes shows as 'other' is particularly difficult to treat.  There are many, many posts on this topic.  See, for example, https://www.google.com/search?q=iphone+reduce+other+space&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

  As far as images go, I never used the "automatic" import tools Windows photo to transfer photos from iPhone for Windows, and is perhaps that these tools are "confused" by the structure of files on the iPhone.  See if the following works for you:

  1. Connect your iPhone to the computer and wait for the "AutoPlay" window to open.  It should look like this:

     

  2. Click on "Open the device to view files" and you should see something like this (note that this iPhone is almost completely full, the bar is red):

     

  3. Double-click on this entry, and you should see a folder named DCIM:

     

  4. Double-click the DCIM folder and you should see another folder with a seemingly random name:

     

  5. Double click on this folder and you should see your photos.  Copy/paste or Drag ' drop them in a folder on your computer.  You can then delete them as you wish using the controls on your phone (I suggest NOT delete files on your phone using Windows):

     

• Moving and sharing photos - catalog questions

  Until recently, all my photos were on a single disc with a Lightroom catalog. Now, there are too many pictures for a single disc, so I split it into two disks and created a new catalog to deal with two different places. Of course, I immediately lost all my ambient light changes. I have a lot of backups, so nothing was really lost now the question:

  How to keep a Lightroom catalog while dividing the pictures into two discs AND keep all my changes, virtual copies, etc.?

  Right now, the restored catalog contains all the changes, but half of the photos are not where the catalogue is expected to make them. What is the way simpler and more secure to do?

  A single catalog, Lightroom can support photos stored on several disks, even the pictures offline. If you want to move pictures from one album to another, you can do the moves within Lightroom. If you choose to make the trip in the operating system, then you can create a link to the photos. In short, it can all be done with a single catalog.

  I have kodak easyshare on my pc. This is where I store all my photos. Can I use 11 elements without interfereing with my kodak software? I like to transfer my photos from my right digital camera to my kodak softwear. Can I still keep this and only transferred those I want to correct on items 11?. Items 11 to take oily skin of photos and make them look fresh and not greasy?  I like the look glamour shot without everyone having an oily face. Thank you.

  When you copy pictures from your camera through any software (Kodak, elements, Lightroom, import Windows operating system, etc.) a physical copy is created on your storage media (whenever you have configured the software to copy photos to).

  When you install Photoshop Elements, you also get Photoshop elements Organizer. Organizing is a virtual library of images and videos that are available on your computer. You can choose which photos are included in the Organizer, choosing the images you want to import. The request of the Organizer, you can view your assets and then modify, improve or change accordingly in Photoshop element Editor (photos) or Premiere Elements (for videos, requires separate purchase).

  To answer your questions:

  • Can I use 11 elements without interfereing with my kodak software? [Ivan David] Yes!
  • Can I still keep this and only transferred those I want to correct on items 11? [Ivan David] Yes, absolutely. Choose and import only the photos you want in Photoshop multimedia elements.
  • Items 11 to take oily skin of photos and make them look fresh and not greasy? [Ivan David] It. I believe, might be possible, but may require some skills. There is no simple way to do this in Photoshop elements 11 again.

• Digitization of thousands of photos + photoshop question

  I'm looking at 3 huge boxes of carefully packed photos, probably between 2-3 thousand photos. I had this silly idea that I would like to scan over time. Right.  A few years later and a little more maturity = mental health. I am wanting to analyze these, but am now to be realistic. I turned to this forum for the General opinions of thought. Hope you give me I wasn't really sure where I could ask this kind of question except in the heart of a forum dealing with photos + photoshop.

  I hear there are these companies now that I could send in boxes of photos and they analyze them for a hefty price. I did some research. You wanted to see if there are photoshop users who went down a similar path and could offer some advice.

  #1 What is the size don't recommend: 300 dpi or 600 dpi. I'm biased towards better quality, but I'm not a rich man.

  #2 someone at - it agreements past with companies to offer opinions about the person to choose or not to choose? I tried to find some kind of feedback online on businesses, but have failed so far. Any idea on where to find comments about the companies?

  I am open to your comments on anything related to this. I want to go through the pictures once I receive them and clean them in PS of course. Any ideas on how to store, organize, perhaps a few common mistakes to avoid when you install it.

  I would appreciate any help certainly you people could offer.

  I've been down this road.

  In 2007, I have a pair of cases (no boxes, but case with lids and hinges) filled with slides, that my grandparents have taken between the end of the war and when my grandfather started using Polariods instead of his old Kodak, 1974. The final count of all scanned was a little more 13 000 and at the time wherever I eliminated duplicates, it amounts to 8 134. It takes a DVD-R (DL) to hold them all in 1024 X 768 and 300 dpi.

  A couple of things I've discovered in the process:

  1. have a good scanner makes much difference. I ponied up $ 114 to buy a medium high level Cannon which can scan slides and movies as well as images and documents. He has the ability to scan up to 1440DPI (an odd number, but the INCREDIBLE at this level clarity)...

  2. the software issues too. I have found that a combination of changes between PS (CS3) and PSE 6 cleaned and improved some slides that otherwise would have been painful to see.

  There are literally hundreds of slides that had turned RED over time, and PS was a measure group to cancel it, but PES has a tint correction 'one touch' which takes the photo to a State much more achievable so PS can improve colors in areas of law.

  Certainly, you encounter (I hope) it's as bad as the picture above, but if you have the time, I recommend you scan them yourself. I learned a lot of family history to go through all these slides with my father. Pictures make a lot more sense to me than if I had sent them to a unknown and decided to get a DVD to go.

  In addition, there are some pictures that require different parameters out of the way that you would like that. If send you them out, there is no guarantee that they will be scanned as you wish.

  I spent almost two months (4 at a time) scanning 13 000 slides, but now that I'm done, I can say it was worth.

• Photos - removal of a photo App question

  I'm about to finally upgrade iPhoto Photos on our mid 2010 MacBook Pro. My intention is to keep a copy of the complete resolution of each photograph on our MacBook Pro by enabling the option 'Download this Mac originals '. I think reading on the Photos all of my photos & videos will be synchronized between my MacBook, iPhone and iPad Pro if I select to use iCloud Photo library functionality and that if I delete a photo on my iPad, for example, it will remove this photo in iCloud and so on all my devices connected. My question is the original photograph display full resolution will also be deleted on the MacBook Pro? Reason for the request is I wish I could use my iPad Pro through my entire photo library and bring order to the top (remove bad photographs, etc.), but if these photographs I remove in iCloud by using my iPad remain on my MacBook Pro so I'll have to do it again on my MacBook Pro... so I would be wasting my time to do using my iPad. Thanks for any advice.

  Yes, I understand form everywhere Deleting removes everything for everyone but I haven't checked it - Léonie done much more work on his iPad and may have checked this

  As for the upgrade - I see no reason to do it in two steps - I just back up and go to Sierra then start leaning Phtops (this is a new program with a learning curve and new workflow - if you think of it like an iPhoto update you will be frustrated because he's not - is a completely new application)

• How to trigger the camera and light pulsed with PCIe-1427

  We recently bought an acquisition card NI PCIe-1024 and the NI Vision Builder.

  I am new to imaging applications and need support to get started.

  Application:

  We have a camera viewing a scene which is illuminated by a pulsed light source (e.g., a strobe).

  We want to use the PCIe-1427 as the master for the outbreak of the camera and strobe light.

  The first trigger (Ch 0) transmitting signals TTL to camera to 30 Hz (30 fps).

  The second trigger (Ch 1) send bursts of pulses to the strobe light to e.g. 10 kHz. This trigger must only send impulses all other images, so that we can save alternating light and dark images in order to perform background subtraction.

  I tried to set up the channels of the trigger and create virtual channels in the measurement and Applications Explorer, but apparently this is not possible.

  Since it is an application critical time, I'd appreciate an example vi that sets up the channels two trigger and download managers in the camera to get started on this application. Thank you.

  I'll copy this request to the machine Vision Group as you suggested. I looked at the link sent you me and made progress (limited). I can see on an oscilloscope trigger signals, and the camera acquires images. However, I only managed to do work for pulse trains continuous, not a shots or bursts of pulses.

• Attaché; savings in the camera photo and laptop? EOS Utility 3

  Updated Eos Utility 3 on a Mac 10.9.4 using 6 d or 5 d with a USB cord.  I can ' find where in EOS Utility I can set it to save the file at a time to the laptop as well as in camera (CF or SD) cards?  It is not normal box under the fire remotely in the preferences.

  Second question, I am using EOS Utility associated with DPP for shooting tethered for several years, but really seem to be lost with these new versions is there video tutorials online update can someone direct me to?

  Hello Archfotos,

  Many options available when shooting tethered with cameras (compatible), save it to the card option is not present.  Images are saved in the memory of your computer.

  You will need to have a usb cable that is able to connect to your camera or your camera must have a memory card. Be advised that if you use the method of memory card, that your computer must have a memory card reader or you could buy a usb memory card reader. They are reasonably cheap.

• PC offers more download automatic digital camera photos

  When connecting my Panasonic digital camera to the pc I get is no longer a pop-up on the pc screen asking where I want the photos to go. AVG Free has been deleted recently and I installed the Microsoft Security Essential. Is - this blocking the connection? I can't read the discs either?

  Hello - tried these two options and I fear that this still does not work!  Changes made to the computer before it was the removal of the free AVG software and then the installation of Microsoft Security essential in its place.

  The only way at the moment to download my photos has been recommended by another user - who had to go D drive removal and click on a file called DCIM - photos are there and you move them in a file on your computer. This works very well, but removes the images from the camera after being transferred!
