Camera Raw zoom

Hi people

I just downloaded the latest version of bridge / Camera Raw CC. I notice immediately that the visualization of my images in camera raw to 100% zoom is slow to render. It seems to be occurring now in two stages and is slower than the previous version of camera raw I used to check the sharpness at 100%. Is there a preference setting should I check for 100% faster 'pop' extracts? Mavericks of Mac OS. MacPro. A lot of Ram. Thank you. Don.

Try to uncheck the option of graphics processor in the Camera Raw preferences.

  • Tools of camera Raw editor (version 9.3.1) all act as Zoom tool

So after an image or two, whenever I open a new RAW file and click on one of the tools (pipette, selective editing tool, etc.) they all act as if I clicked on the Zoom tool.  I click on the zoom, zoom in on the image to zoom back, and then click a new tool and when I commit to this new tool, it just zoomed in and out.

I have to close Photoshop and restart my whole machine until it stops.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the update.

Suggest make you in Photoshop preferences > file handling > camera raw > uncheck 'use the graphics processor' > restart Photoshop and then check out.

  • Advice please: Photoshop (Camera Raw) run slow the new Macbook Pro

Hi, last week my old Macbook 2012 Pro 13 "(8 GB of Ram, 2.9 GHz, 750 GB of storage) is dead so 2 days ago I replaced it with a new Macbook (2015) Pro 13" (8 GB of Ram, 128 GB of storage).

I had heard that this computer would be the same if not faster to run Photoshop for me edit my photos (photography being my work part-time). The computer seems to work fine, until I opened about 100 photos Raw in Photoshop CS6 (Adobe Camera Raw), while when zooming with emphasis on my photos to check there was a significant (up to 4 seconds) lag between pressing the shortcut keys to perform a zoom and zoom that really happens. In addition, there was noticeable delay when changing the balance of whites by the sliders. I had none of these problems on my previous Macbook Pro, photoshop just seemed instantaneous. Then I was sure my CS6 has been fully updated, had the same problem, including the offsets when you use the sliders (white balance, exposure, etc.). Then I uninstalled and reinstalled my photoshop CS6, nothing has changed. I then downloaded a 7 day trial of CC in Photoshop to see if the last "photoshop" had the same problem, which was the case.  Finally, I took the computer to the store and they wiped and re installed my CS6 on it, nothing had changed.

Sorry for the story back for a long time, but I was wondering if anyone else had similar problems, or if it seems you good? I'm just afraid that this new laptop should be the same, if not more quickly on photoshop, but he is underperforming compared to a Macbook which is 4 years older. I understand that it may not seem like a big deal, but when you work with as many photos as I do, such as small lag like this can add hours on my time of the edict.

I'm pretty convinced that it is the new laptop is defective, but nothing has yet come with diagnosis, so it would be good to know if it is something that I should wait when photoshop is put on a new Macbook Pro like mine. Thanks a lot for your help

  • Please explain saturation, clarity, dynamic tab in camera raw.

    What exactly do these tools?

    Hi navidr,

    Clarity

Adds depth to an image by increasing local contrast, with a greater effect on the midtones. This setting is like a large radius of sharpness. When you use this parameter, it is best to zoom in to 100% or more. To maximize the effect, increase the setting until you see halos near the edge of the image details, and then reduce the setting slightly.

    Vibrance

Adjusts the saturation of this cutting is reduced as colors approach full saturation. This setting changes the saturation of all the less saturated colors with less effect on more saturated colors. Vibrance also prevents skin tones to become saturated.

    Saturation

Adjusts the saturation of all colors in the image just as between-100 (monochrome) to + 100 (double the saturation).

Please take a look at the following articles, it should be useful: http://layersmagazine.com/clarity-vibrance-and-saturation-in-adobe-photoshop-camera-raw.ht ml

  • Camera Raw 9.1.1 in Windows 10 displays an orange background, no pictures

New superior system, new installation of Windows 64 Pro 10, fresh install Photoshop CC 2015 and bridge CC.

Open a jpg file in PS go to filter > filter CAmera Raw and window Panel has a flat bottom orange salmon, image zoom in/out.

Open the bridge CC and Ctrl + R on a selected jpeg. Get the same result.

  • Camera RAW shows a cross instead of my image.

After upgrading my CC photoshop to the latest version, I do not see my image in the 'Camera RAW'. It shows a blue image with a cross, a sitting at.

I tried to open a Canon EOS 1 d MkII CR2-file. Camera RAW version is 9.1.1

    How can I fix?

[Left the forum Cloud/Installer generic for program specific forum... MOD]

It could be associated with GPU. Camera Raw just added GPU support and some systems do not handle well it.

    You may need to disable.

Look at this document black or white squares appear on the image when you zoom in inside or outside

  • How to size and minimize camera raw window?

Everytime I open Camera Raw opens zoomed into my screen and I can't move or resize it. I have three monitors and the main monitor, where the camera raw opens, is not what I consider the quality of the photo (it has not true black), and so I want to move the camera raw to a monitor that is photo quality. How can I do? (except change which monitor is the main)

What version of photoshop, camera raw, and operating system are you using?

  • Quality of NEF conversion/demosaicization in Camera Raw

    Hello world

Please, I have a question for you experts on the quality of image files NAVE of Nikon D7100 open in Camera Raw.

I have reviewed a file NAVE D7100, load in Camera Raw 7.4, and enlarged to higer zoom, it is possible to see maybe a few worries demosaicing.

You can clearly see that the slanted lines are demosaicized in blocks of 2 x 2 pixels. This is true regardless of the sharpness.

When you open this file in Nikon CaptureNX2 the problem is not present.

    Please, see above link images

    Setting sharpness at 0%

    Add more sharpness:

    http://gnafopiu.altervista.org/cnx2_vs_acr74_sharp.jpg

The file is downloaded from the site DPReview, is a test for a comparative camera shoot.
I noticed the same thing, more or less, open other files NAVE (from Nikon D7000, D5200 D3200 except D800).

With this issue, it seems is not taken advantage of the power of resolution of the lens or the sensor resolution.

I would like to ask if it is really a problem or if there is some setting/configuration to manage.

Thank you very much and sorry for the bad English writing.

Demosaicing lives said, is a land of compromise.

This question is not directly related to PV 2003 vs 2010; However, the attention to detail sharpening of PV 2010 will accentuate the blocks compared to 2003 of PV.  The underlying issue is the nature of how current ACR Demosaic approach manages features oriented diagonally.  We are aware of this, and of course, it's a candidate to improve in the future.

  • Portraits of sharpening in Camera Raw

    Hello

Anyone would be likely to give me some pointers on what sharpening (amount, RADIUS, detail, masking) that I use when editing PORTRAIT NEF RAW images from my Nikon D90 in Camera Raw?

    Information would be welcome.

    Thank you very much

    Carl

Cannot give you figures for this camera, but I can give some general guidelines...

For portraits, you'll want a larger RADIUS as opposed to the smaller so think 1.2 to 1.5. Then detail will want prolly less than the default value of 25. You want an edge mask... how much is a matter of taste. Be sure to use a bit of luminance noise reduction, even if you are well exposed at low ISO. Most pictures benefit from reduction of 5-15. The amount should be paid so that the image takes up the sharpness lost by digital capture and AA filters. Do not attempt to sharpen to "effect"... all you want is to have the image to "look good" at 100% zoom. "."

  • I see the sharpness of details as I can in Camera Raw?

A book I have on Camera Raw, says I can get a preview which areas are affected when the sharpening sliders are moved by holding down the option (Mac) key and then move the RADIUS slider, detail, masking. It shows a window which is grey with only the areas affected by sharpening showing. This feature is available in Lightroom?

It works just like in camera RAW. Just follow this sequence: Zoom 1:1 on an area of interest (type B & W preview doesn't in zoomed-out views), keep the option key and (while holding down the key) drag the sharpening sliders back. You will get the same point across exactly as see you it in ACR.

said sharpening box "reset sharpening" - does this mean?)

If you click it, the sharpness resets the default value. You can do this in all sections to develop. Handy if you do not want to reset a single section. You can always double click on the name of the cursor to have just this slider default reset.

Y at - it a video tutorial that shows what I should see onscreen?

I'm not there. A quick google found me the following screenshots of it in action: http://x-equals.com/blog/?p=1792

This can occur, run a maintenance program that erases your system cache and things should be fine.

Also, check and make sure that it actually settle.
