Photos in Camera Raw are red

I recently downloaded Photoshop and Bridge on my new computer and for some reason every time my RAW files are open in Camera Raw, they are bright red. I can zoom in and out and even tries to change them, and there's just red. I do a lot of my editing in Camera Raw, so if anyone can help me solve this problem it would me much appreciated (: I have attached a screenshot of the problem.)

  • Photos selected in Camera Raw are not open in Photoshop CC

I have Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS6.5 installed in my computer. When I send pictures to Camera Raw in bridge, twisting them and make everything beautiful, I want to finally send them into Photoshop to finish my treatment. Camera Raw seems to want to send to Photoshop CS6. I can't get it to open them in Photoshop CC. I guess miss me a setting somewhere but does not know where he is. I am aware that I could just record all Camera Raw files then drag and drop them into Photoshop CC, but is that really necessary extra step?

  • Lightroom - cannot open the Photos in Camera Raw

    Hi all -

I need help with Lightroom and running with bridge in my feed working... At work, I use Lightroom for most of my post-production work, but my boss likes to see pictures and make his choice with the help of Adobe Bridge. She also likes to open photos in Adobe Camera Raw, bridge, in preview mode, but for some reason, the option for this has recently dimmed. Any idea what can cause this problem? We use a Mac, with LR 5 and CS6. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The news of Elijah-d are correct. Lightroom is a complete standalone application and saves work in its catalog file, so even if you work with Lightroom by default , his reads and writes from the file catalog.

Bridge / Camera Raw in contrast will be reading and writing in the .xmp sidecar files you will need to use the option in Lightroom to also write the info .xmp.

Also, there are some things that Lightroom does not write to .xmp who likes a specific to Lightroom, collections, virtual copies, history etc.

See more info at the link below.

How can I move a picture of editing in camera raw in photoshop?  When I click on "Open image" I get a checkerboard in photochop

"ACR" is Adobe Camera Raw, which is that you open your images with. You make all changes using Camera Raw, or simply open them? If you are editing in Camera Raw, what happens if you use the standard file > Open option, instead of opening as...

Another thing, you'll want to do, is to make sure that everything is up to date. This includes Windows 7, Photoshop and your video card. All the these can play a role in the issue of the checkerboard.

  • Collage of photos in Camera Raw

I create a collage of photos of 3 or 4 that I want to put in ACR to care for them, so they all have the same look. Normally when I do this treatment to a photo I have open as smart object, make copies and put in ACR several times for different treatments, and then change the opacity and merge them.

Can I take each file, add all of them to a new image, make some arrangements of them, then integrate this collage ACR several times?

    Ed

Not as a multilayer image.  Camera Raw will allow you to open several images, but you cannot combine them.  If you were using Lightroom you could do several virtual copies of each image and make adjustments to those, but you would still have to combine them and do the final work in Photoshop.  I mean, I'm not your logic?

  • Settings in Bridge CS6 camera raw does not

I'm editing photos in Adobe Bridge CS6 using Camera Raw settings.  It was great to work in a first time.  But now, whenever I open a photo in Camera Raw window, he has some sort of effect on it.  Photography has red spots in many areas.  The Red patches are not permanent, but it makes it very difficult to see the photograph well enough to change it.  I tried "Clear settings" and "Camera Raw Defaults" under "Settings of development."  And I have purged the cache in Camera Raw preferences.  I also tried update bridge under the 'Help' menu, but no update is available.  So boring.  Can someone help me leave "see red"?

Odd. I saw that as CS6 had the GPU acceleration before it was abandoned. HM.

I just went full DPEP in my previous posts. Laughing out loud

When you were talking about red spots, it is salient facts clipping (and shadows, as appropriate) underway. Click on the top corners of the color histogram to disable them.

O keyboard shortcut (that's an O as October) active / disables cutting highlight; U activates / deactivates the shadow clipping.

  • Camera Raw in Photoshop

I'm opening the camera raw in photshop, but I am unable to find it. What should I do to open and edit my photos in camera raw in photoshop?

If you have an older version that doesn't have the raw from the camera filter, there are other ways.

    (1) file > Open As - file type click on camera raw, and then choose your file. (must be a tiff, raw or jpg) Later versions add png, but I think it's also when they added the filter.

    (2) use Adobe Bridge - choose your file and then press ctrl-r under windows or cmd - r on mac

    (3) If a tiff or jpg was edited in camera raw (new metadata) double-click the file in windows Explorer or the mac finder will open the camera raw dialog box

    (4) set preferences in camera raw to always open tiff or jpg by double clicking in a file viewer. (Default value is only when published)
