  First of all, let me tell you how great it is to have a support forum for my new laptop.

  I have a couple of things that maybe someone knows a lot more than myself will not be able to help me with (I hope)

  The first thing is (and the title of this thread):

  CPU use excessive multimedia Youtube streaming while.

  During playback of a standard video stream of You Tube, the processor in the Task Manager is erratic to say the least. The indicator CPU usage jumps upwards to 85%, and during playback, causing the stream to "stutter".

  I use the latest versions of FireFox (17.0.1) and Adode Flash plug in (11.05 r502) even though I know You Tube will flow its media using HTML5, without the need for the Shockwave plugin.

  The second thing is:

  Slow system

  I haven't used this laptop since I bought it new in July 2012. I recently needed to use and found that the entire system is extremely slow.

  I haven't used internet on this computer until today. The software I used is media production tools. However, open the Control Panel, start remote system, using Windows Explorer, any task seems incredibly slow.

  The third thing is:

  Start of this laptop seems to use about 1.2 GB of Washington.

  If someone has any advice they could give me it would be much appreciated.

  Nice that you share your experience with your laptop, but I will say a:
  You take on the laptop but no one knows what model of laptop you have exactly.

  This happens because of the Forefox or the plug-in for the Forefox.
  Maybe you should try another internet browser

  How about new installation OS, system using CCleaner and disabling context is not necessary cleaning processes?

• cannot depend on the discovery network and media streaming in windows 7

  I have recently reinstalled windows 7 because that... Well, it was long due, my laptop for about 3 years now and still had the original installation on it. But this time every time when I try to turn on my network discovery he constantly changing to and in my home group when I click on choose media streaming options and try to turn on media streaming it dose nothing, I looked at about 20-25 different sites/forums and followed the guide on here it is turn on and set to automatic

  My laptop is a fujitsu Siemens, I have a Wi - Fi connection with my laptop and Xbox, but have you tried Wired, the Xbox can find my laptop ok MOM, she can't find my cell phone no more.

  When you get the blue screen on your computer? What were you doing when it appeared?

  Have you changed your save location of your music files?
  If so, to try to resolve the problem, open Explorer, under libraries, click the music tab and click Properties. Now make sure that your backup folder of choice is defined as your backup location. If not, click it and then click on the button "game save loction". It is perhaps one of your configuration settings which are not correct.

  Have you tried to reset your Windows Media Player in "programs and features"?

  Step 1.
  Uninstalling Windows Media Player:
  1. go to start and in the search type "Turn Windows willing or not.
  2. click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
  3. search for multimedia and uncheck the brand in the face of Windows Media Player.
  4 restart the computer

• Want to revive a dead Satellite Pro 4220 XCDT

  I had recently an old 4220 by a friend for free with the sorting and new mobile phones her friends (ie remove Vista and put xp on them so they would actually work!). He was a Catalan installation of XP on it, so I wiped it and put Windows 2000 on it, which was great, except that I kept getting the error code 31 on the pcmcia wireless card I put in there, so I upped it to XP that worked well with the map, but due to limitations of the system has been little juddery when multimedia streaming. I decided to give another 2000 go and reinstalled and tried to set the mode of recovery to try to resolve the error 31, but had no luck with it.

  However, when I reset the recovery mode machine, he returned once never again: no picture, no beeps, but the power/battery lights are on, and it runs the cd-rom for a few seconds.   Brand new computer, put in place, updated all the drivers and software.  I run OOKLA speed test and the new system barely reaches 2 MB (connects to 5 MB to last year: for the 6Mo), speed Upload happens a.38 (sized pour.63 and ALWAYS hits it)

  I have another laptop wireless and its speeds are 5Mo.63 every time that I test it

  This new system is still showing 2 + d/o et.36 u/l

  I ran this test several times.

  Interesting to me is that the new graph of d/l system HP K150 on OOKLA is always a Roller Coaster vs the laptop gets 5 MB and remains for the entire chart.  I didn't know if this allows to evaluate this issue.

  WMM maintains the priority of audio, video and voice, on the other applications that are less time-critical. QoS (Quality of Service) Wi - Fi Multimedia (WMM) ensures that applications that require higher throughput and performance, are inserted in the queues with a higher priority. (For example, video and audio applications receive a higher priority on applications such as FTP or file download.)

  In this way, say, listening to music, you are less likely to hear delays. Watch the video, you're more likely to see more flexible action. That delays the rest of network traffic for less critical nature - such as downloading large files - where a small delay is acceptable.

  WMM has four following queues, decreasing in the order of priority:

  • Voice.The highest priority queue with a minimum delay, making it ideal for applications such as voice over IP (VoIP) and multimedia streaming.
  • Video. The second queue of higher with a low time priority is given to this queue. Video applications are routed to this queue.
  • Best Effort. The queue of medium priority with a medium delay is given to this queue. Most IP applications use this queue.
  • Background. With high throughput low-priority queue. Applications, such as FTP, that are not time-sensitive, but that require high throughput, can use this queue.

  The only withdrawal back I see the disabling is that all will have the same priority for streaming won't be as good that she will also share the bandwidth with other such internet activities that offers day and downloads.   -What exactly happens when you try to connect your PS3 to your computer?

  -Is detected on your computer?

  -You receive an error message when connecting?

  However, you can follow the steps below and check if it helps you connect the playstation 3 on your computer for multimedia streaming.

  Before I continue I suggest you note the MAC address of your Playstation 3

  You can find the MAC address of the PS3 in

  (1) system setting > system information

  (2) network settings. (Scroll down)

  Once you note down the address Mac, then on your computer, go to control panel > network and sharing Center > advance change sharing settings.

  In advance the sharing page settings make sure you discovered the network and file sharing & printer is activated.

  After turning on the network discovery and file sharing & printer, click streaming media options.

  Once you are finished, you will see a window of sharing multimedia files.  In the fall of devices Show bar, select all networks. Then you'll see some unknown device / devices. Double-click each unknown device to see the MAC address of the device.

  If the address matches the MAC address of the PS3 then allow this device for media sharing and check if you are able to connect your Playstation 3 to your computer.

• computer laptop 15-ac055nr: update the keys died after Windows10 1511

  Hello, after 'agreeing' Win10 two nights back cumulative update 1511 - all my keyboard shortcuts do not work as expected. Most of them do nothing and at least 2 do something other than advertised... seems this 'problem' arrived on the latest updates of OS (Win 7 or 8 Win), don't know if the previous solutions apply here-> but nothing out on the internet yet about Win10 and this problem.

  Expect Microsoft to say, HP HP problem call. Expect HP to tell me Win10 question... classic update Microsoft call h/w - game of chickens and eggs from s/w.

  Any ideas how to recover the shortcut keys? Laptop is quite popular multimedia streamer at home in the evening, so sad to lose the volume controls and screen... you don't know where all that is soft but in settings either. Thnx!

  Well, I can answer my own post!

  My laptop is new, only 2 months so I used option support guaranteed HP.

  More explicit problem behavior is as such: 12 fn keys, 11 were shortened assignment by updating Windows HP. 10 wiped out all HP keyboard shortcut definitions and reallocated to 2 keys to go to windows start menu and help page for Google chrome (weird!).

  Based on another similar question, I had already drilled in the Device Manager settings and HP support had me crushes the keyboard driver (which is only a 2006 pilot PS/2... seems old)... so no surprise driver setting did nothing...

  HP support had me then download and flash the BIOS... as strange as the PC architecture still using a file of 2048 kb to disk BIOS system boot... who did it! I must say that I did not regularly updates the BIOS of the PC manufacturing and it's always the small nail little bite of the to do because it can make a device does not work if it does not stick...

  Thus, it seems that the native HP keyboard shortcut assignment was reset correctly with the BIOS flash, which was totally cool as flashing the BIOS is the only way to see 'the good "ol days' settings screen monochrome low color with large fonts polyhedral. Hey I was already a student in second year at College when the first laboratory of PC with Win 3.1 and mice showed up to plant the day on the BACK and numbered menu selection to launch the 5 or 6 software loading to a PC... the good ' ol days.

  Equipment: 1 home computer: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 (several others include: Vista with all updates and a MacBook Pro, but the computer is the computer with all the software)

  3 PS3 with all firmware updates

  Problem: I'm having serious problems with practically everything in this configuration... Problem: my router Linksys software gives me the error message: "problem! Internet connection does not work. "Even with this error, I always get a wireless connection on all computers, the PS3, and a PSP in the House.  I did everything the software told me to do and I still get the error message.  Problem 2: At random times when I use the internet options on my PS3 to the internet disconnects from everything, (including the PS3), and I have to disconnect and reconnect the router to get things working again.  This problem tends to occur at random times every time I use the internet on my PS3 but on my PS3 which kills the internet every time, there is a specific function: multimedia Streaming of my XP for my PS3.

  If anyone can help me to solve these problems, I would be deeply grateful!

• Music app sees not updated music media server

  Hi all

  I use Mezzmo to my PC for multimedia streaming. I never realized that sony music app could stream from a server.

  So I have connected to my Mezzmo server on my phone and could see three music albums. Great, I'm going to pop more in this case and I leave.

  Only problem is, it will not update in the list, it does show that same three albums.

  I uninstalled the updates, restore the factory settings app, tried again. Updated, she tried. What I do I never see those three albums.

  Its been my nut in! Mezzmo shows all the albums and on my TV, I can see all the when I connect it to the Mezzmo.

  I'm in the market for a content / url / device for our network of virus scanning. We currently use the Web MXLogic defence service, and while it is very cheap it is not suited to our needs. What I want is a device that will do filtering of content, but also viruses / malware / spyware scan on web traffic. I would also need to be able to setup policies / groups different set of users. For example the people who buy the products we sell must be able to see our content of multimedia (streaming) video sellers so that our sales people don't. I can't currently do with MXLogic, it's all or nothing.

  Our firewall is an ASA5510 and I looked at the module Content Security SSM-10 with the greater license and while the price is really attractive I have a few questions about it. It integrates with MS Active Directory? In other words, and it filters based on policies and groups or more IP / ACL based? Also does perform well?

  I have looked also sell IronPort product cisco and have similar questions about it especially which people experience with it, it's something that you would recommend?

  To answer your questions related to the CSC module:

  1. No, the CSC module does not fit with Active Directory. It's something that Trend Micro has in the works, but right now, there is no ETA for this feature.

  2. the module CSC happen enough well if used in the environment it was designed for. I recommend watching CSC sizing guide to see if the CSC-SSM-10 would be something that is scalable enough for your network:

  I can't speak to the performance/features of IronPort like I the have not used personally, but I've heard good things. Also, external devices of Websense seem to be a popular choice when you need a product that is a little more scalable or granular than can provide the CSC module.

  I'm putting in place an internet service for some members of the service here in Afghanistan. We use the commercial internet (provided by satellite) to a modem that goes into my firewall 501 pix.

  Service that we bought gives us Ip 29, and now I just have it set up as such.

  Modem gateway: 10.124.48.1

  Outside the firewall: 10.124.48.2

  Inside the firewall: 192.168.1.1

  Global NAT pool: 10.124.48.3 30 (the rest of intellectual property s that are outside the package)

  On the inside of the pool of the host: 192.168.1.2 -.33

  DNS for inside customers: 192.168.130.30,.50

  Everything seems ok, as I use the PDM software to allow all traffic ip from outside to inside (I know it isn't the safest to do thing ~ and the fact that I turned a firewall $ 700 to a router for $40). I can browse the internet, but it is really weird.

  I.E.

  I can ping msn.com and www.msn.com , and it resolves the twice,

  But if I put msn.com in Internet explorer, it says cannot display the page, but if I hit the refresh like five times, it'll happen. If I navigate away from the page and then try to type in msn.com again (in the same window) I hit refresh 5 times, to get the next page.

  But if I type in www.msn.com it just generally well upward.

Might be good to block traffic P2P, Multimedia Streaming stuff, but this is not possible with OS 6.3.4 Release. You must wait for PIX OS 7.0, which is not available for PIX 501.
