  Use a disk with the file system 'Mac OS (journaled)' extended.  Open the Panel "file > read the information" for this drive.

  In the section "Permissions & sharing" Panel Info unlock the padlock and turn the meter of the property to ignore.

  I'm trying to access certain vectors on draw Adobe I made using the Adobe capture application, I have recorded images in the creative cloud and can see them in my library creative cloud application, but when I add the vector through the Forms toolbar I don't have an option available to access my library.

  I looked at a number of tutorials on people who use this app and it seems to be a relatively simple process, so I think I missed a step somewhere can someone let me know how I can access my library by Adobe draw.

  You do not have something wrong. It's a super easy process... when assets are sync as they should. Two days ago, that we discovered a bug in the libraries of this asset that is preventing synchronization. The teams are working to solve and it should be fixed in the next day or two.

  We are about to move to OS 10.11 and therefore immune from iPhoto in Photos.

  A NAS file server currently holds all of our image files; on our different Macs iPhoto libraries have albums and lists that refer to these images, but the original files are only on the server. We have more than 300 GB of images. iCloud is therefore out of the question for the storage of files.

  We want to continue to keep our files image centralized on the file server, accessed by our different Macs. Is this possible with pictures? We are confused by the fact that almost all the discussions of Photos mentions iCloud at one time or another. ICloud is mandatory for the Photos and if so why?

  iCloud is not mandatory.  It is an option to synchronize photos between several devices that are connected to the same iCloud account.

  Although technically Photos can function as a reference library with some source files on a NAS server is not a stable configuration.  It is not nearly as robust that Aperture was referencing Server source files.  Most of the users end up with a library damaged at some point.

  If you want a reliable library then consolidate your library of Photos into a managed library and put it on your boot drive or on an external HD which is being shaped as shown in this screenshot and directly connected to the Mac by USB cable, Firewire, or Thunderbolt.

  

  If you want to use the iCloud photo library to sync with all your devices, you will need to purchase enough storage iCloud to house the library and should read these Apple before committing to the iCPL:

  I'm trying to help my son getting his Photos mess cleaned up. His Photos Show dates without photos in them.  Also, I can't delete photos in Photos.app. When I sync the iPhone with iTunes/Photos, apparently photos get synchronized and imported are deleted, but actually when I look in Photos.app, photos aren't especially there. On his phone, there is a big Photostream My. It does use icloud photo library.

  I suspect that the Photos.app library is broken. Can I repair installation somehow without lose the photos he doesn't lose?

I will keep this in mind - I only checked to have downloaded Firefox Setup 8.0 (2) .exe (which I happened to find sitting in the toolbar, and it's not because I've been invited to download). This seems to have solved now redirect to a server incorrect proxy - the only thing that remains to be done is to find why I have a blank page when I get redirected to the correct e-library! I will contact the administrator of this site. Thanks again for your suggestion. I will certainly use it if I have more problems.

  I recently got a new iMac - 2.8 GHz, 16 GB RAM, El Capitan running. I transferred most of my backup files to my old iMac which had been damaged during a lightning strike. In the five or six weeks I had the new a whole has been very well. Today, I tried to open the pictures. After I pressed the button fix I looked at 95% and then it stop the progress bar and I got the message - "Photos has attempted to repair the library 'Photos', but is unable to open it.  I don't suspect that the lightning had something to with him because I opened pictures at least once on the new iMac.   You can export your photos from the Photos app. There is a point under file - export - export original unmodified. After that you can import them from the file system in LR.

  Quit iBooks runs. Test after each of these steps that you've already taken. Stop when the problem is resolved. Quit iBooks again before moving on to the next step.

  Step 1

  Hold down the option key and select go ▹ library in the Finder menu bar. In the library folder, move the following items, if they exist, in the Trash:

  Step 2

  Delete this in the same way:

  and move it to the desktop:

  Restart the computer. To disconnect and reconnect is not enough, you must restart.

  When you launch iBooks, you will be prompted to reset the library. Confirm. The library will be empty. Rebuild by downloading your purchases on the iBook Store and import of any content that you added.
