  I can't get my psc1210 to work on my new laptop running windows 7.  I followed all the advice on the HP support pages, but nothing helped. some of the things I've tried:

  (a) followed by editing according to the http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02658990 it happens according to plan exccept that when windows 7 detects and tries to install the drivers, it fails. No details given on which iot fails. Troubleshooting process does not help

  (b) follow instructions as per http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02681060 however, the installation wizard detects that the printer drivers are not installed and just leaves everything!

  Any suggestions on how to get this range of hp psc1210 printers work with my computer laptop windows 7 would be appreciated.

  Today, I had a problem with firefox using too much CPU resources. I restarted my browser in safe mode to see if addons are the cause. I also disabled all the plugins. After I found the defective addon, I inexplicable firefox in normal mode. There is unfortunately no way to activate plug-ins now.

  You can delete the pluginreg.dat file in the Firefox profile folder and perhaps as well to reset addons.sqlite the plugin registry data bases.
