  You cannot apply/assign a template to a page via sftp.  You need to action via the back-end or using DW.  Since you do not prefer this in an extension of dorsal DW would be the alternative.

Apart from the menu and some content in the header/footer, nothing else in the pages change. I am aware of how to apply a template to one page, but searching the Internet didn't have a way to automate the process of task or batch, if you want to apply to all pages in a site. There are more than 1800 pages, therefore apply to all pages manually would be extremely tedious...

  My laptop crashed and I was able to download my latest pages from the server to my new computer, but apparently I never downloaded my newest model.

  I would really appreciate someone tell me the steps to follow to create a template from a page that was created by using the template I want to use.

  I tried several ways to cut and copy, but the .css is not by applying, among other problems. I don't know there's a correct way to proceed - can anyone help?

  Maybe you need to do is to get out any mention of editable regions.

  Once you've done that, save it as a template (Dreamweaver should not ask you if you want a model nested, if applicable), and then create the editable regions.

  I had the same problem and although it is a very old thread, I would like to share my solution with those who find this via google, too (like me):

  Follow these steps:

  1. Open the files in a text like Sublime edtor (impossible in Dreamweaver when the model area is locked).
  2. Use the "Find and replace" to replace each text with the name of the new-model .dwt .dwt in open files.
  3. Save files.
  4. Inside Dreamweaver go to 'Edit' > 'Models' > 'update Pages. In the dialog box, select "Find in files" and choose the name of the former model and click on 'start '.
     If there are areas of the unequal model, there will be one or more dialog boxes where you can select how DW must correspond to these regions (for all files).

  I can't apply hyperlinks in a slide show in Muse.

  I connected the slideshow to a page on my site from muse.

  The assets folder shows that all the images are related to the page I wanted.

  When I saw the site Muse or in Safari, I get only a link when I click on the last image in the slideshow as it plays.

  I want the full slideshow, each image, linked to the same page.

  PS. I deleted the original site and created a new, but the problem is still happening.

  You should be fine by applying links to the Image of the hero of the widget (to each slide) slide through the hyperlink option in the control bar.

  Download a two files. A small end .exe, the other .7z, wide, fine. You must run the small .exe file and will decompress the .7z big file to the correct locations.

  The first place to start is:

  Don't worry confused me, I'm already confused.

  Div tags using PA was a solution to when IE6 was really the only viable option for a web browser, even with all its quirks. But now that the range of browsers is much larger, and most have a better implementations of css to IE6, layout problems, caused by the use of div tags PA broke many websites who use (or try) as a page layout.

  Unfortunately you have found yourself in the same situation that a lot of designers/developers are, what modern browsers require a much better understanding of xhtml/css and javascript in order to achieve the design and features required for a modern site compliant.

  If you have an older computer, the old version of the pages is still in the folder of iWorks if I'm not mistaken, otherwise, if you still have the iWork DVD you can reinstall it after you remove the crappy version of Pages.

  You load your e-mail using a bookmark? There is an obscure framework for bookmarks that directs them to the sidebar instead of the area of the home page. This is usually set by clicking a link in a page to your Favorites page instead of using Firefox built-in to add the bookmark function.

  To fix this, right-click on the bookmark, click on properties, then uncheck "load this bookmark in the sidebar". Does it work?
