• Error 2114 after cleaning registry with RegistryMechanic. The Server service is not started when I try to share a file on my local network and register to an older date seems not possible.

Now, I tried inserting AutoShareWks and AutoShareServer DWORD in the LanmanServer\Parameter, but it does not work.   Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  Unfortunately, a lot of registry cleaners may end up doing more harm than good.  I would check with the registry program, to see if it created any type of original backup before you start.  Now when you say that you "reset the registry to an older date" did you do this through the system restore?  If not then I suggest to run a system restore to a date prior to the registry "cleaning".  If that does not resolve the issue, then you do a repair installation.

  After cleanind my registry with Wise Registry Cleaner, I can not connect to the internet. Network LAN and wireless do not work. Windows 7 has diagnosed the problem and says the following:

  Similar to Wireless adapt. The problem is probably not the antivirus program, since I have only deinstaled and the problem persists. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, but no solution again. I can't do a system restore point before cleaning the registry, because Windows could not find a file that is needed for the restore. I restored again since before saved registry cleaning but no help.

  Any other ideas please. This really seems teribble :(

  Check in the BIOS for options enable the USB of differnet options (Ex: at startup, inheritance, etc.) and enabled them.

  Yes, they are all right Registry clean up is not necessary because Microsoft has proposed as well. Microsoft had its own Reg Cleaner, but it serves to broken so the programs... Then when MS was unable to make one, he started recommends not to use Reg cleaners and sound quite right.
  However, if you still need cleanup and fix your registry errors, I recommend the following two free apps of security reg cost:

  I would just ignore it, I would never use a period of registry cleaner. They'll hurt you more than to help you. Other uses of CCleaner are great. I use it myself, but never touch the registry.
