  I see that you have some problems with the display tab in windows Explorer. I'll help you with this problem.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  2. what security software is installed on the computer?

  3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  Method 1.

  Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.

  Run a full scan of the computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus-free.

• Next and Previous buttons do not work in a Blu - ray writer

  I use Encore 5 and have created a blu ray player. In reminder, the when I preview the disc I see that all my menu navigations work fine, all my links of chapter work very well and once I start to play a chapter, the buttons previous and following in the preview screen work very well also, navigate to the next or previous chapeter as appropriate.

  Then, I created a disk image and it burned to a BD - RE disc to test on my PS3. The disc turn and play very well on the PS3, except for the buttons next and previoud. Click on the next button, I get the message "this operation is not allowed. Click on the back button, I am stuck at the beginning of the current chapter, but he never goes to the previous chapter.

  Still, I have a unique schedule containing a minute 15 film (m2v). I create 4 chapters in the film by inserting the points of capture and tied the end of each chapter at the beginning of the next.   Why you do this? The typical method is not end these actions and the timeline plays through a different method is used to read the individual chapters, if you need to play alone and return to a menu. But if you want to play the next chapter, simply do nothing.

  The menu is a regular menu or a popup? I understand that the first piece is your timeline.

  I use a 30 day trial of Robohelp 2015 to test. I opened a Robohelp projected created in 10, let HR to update and generated a reactive power of HTML5. Then the output, I selected "Convert popups AutoSize and custom linking size" and 'convert popups only of the text into hyperlinks' tab optimization, everything seems to work fine, except that in the popups converted to hypertext links, the 'next' and 'back' buttons disappeared. (these buttons are present in all the other subjects) I also added bread crumbs by adding a placeholder on the main page of the project, and the breadcrumbs not appear in these subjects, either.

  The back and next buttons are normally related to a sequence to browse. As these are topics of popup, has no way for them to be part of a sequence to browse, so no buttons would be added.

  If you want the buttons, you must manually delete the links to popup, then create topics with the same content. Then ensure that they are part of the sequence to browse.

• Custom next and not available after entering the course back

  Hello!

  I am using Captivate 8 and I created my own next and back buttons so I could control them as I wanted (i.e. takeaway then during a control of knowledge until he be tried or tried).  I used smart shape buttons, placed on the first screen and makes them available to the rest of the project.  If everything works well until a user running the course in the LMS, decides to leave at some point mid-term and then chooses to return to the course.  The bookmarking feature works very well, but I noticed that the back and next buttons are no longer on the screen.  I guess because the entry point jumps on the first screen where you can see these buttons.  Any advice? I could put on each screen, but it seems that the device the "rest of project" not to mention the increase in file size.

  I just did a test on SCORM cloud. I created a HTML5 project and used a button following smartshape for navigation. I left the course on slide 4. When I restarted the course, I returned to slide 4 and button was there.

  So, I guess there is a problem with your project.

  I think that both hidden and display elements have attributes that can cause problems because of different ways these function elements as the only non-display and feature no hidden items. The only items have a "Save Session State' yes/no 'control'? This can be a problem.

  Would you do that? Do these regular items instead and see if you can get those working. Then, we will try to change the fields back to hidden or display only.

  I see some problems using with the following buttons on question slides provided with Adobe Captivate 6.0, and send it.

     2. Issues 2 and 4: I could create a custom of 'Submit' button but I don't see what measures to trigger to submit the quiz question.
     3. Problem 3: I do not see boxes click to remove or settings to change, to stop the behavior "click anywhere.
     4. Problem 5: I worked around this by creating my own back for Question 1 only button and hide when they review the quiz.

  Any suggestion would be great!

  Thanks for the links to your blog, as always very useful!

  I understand the hesitation when seeing convoluted questions on this forum, but I encourage you and others to try to remedy. Otherwise, the forum is pretty useless if it only meets the "simple" questions I tried to unzip the problem so that the expected and actual results were clear.

  I have now overcome problems 1, 2, 3 and 4 as follows:

  • Make the button submit transparent and placed a SmartShape resembling to the button send behind it.
  • Removed the success message, so that the action on the success is called immediately by clicking on Submit
  • Call a tip for the successful event Action. This action:
    • Displays the revision message (success)
    • Hide the submit button
    • Jumps to the next slide and then return to the current slide (this ensures that the buttons next and previous are enabled correctly)
    • Calls a Javascript function to pause the slide.
  • Apply the same to all my slides in question... * sigh *.

  I had already worked around 5 problem according to my original post.

  Again, I want to express some frustration that there are so many workarounds to get training to watch 100%. For example, in one of your tutorials there is a transparent button and once I knew how the workaround has been applied, I put my mouse over it the space where the button was and saw the hand icon. While if you think that users don't notice, I assure you that when the courses are distributed to a few hundred people these things don't go unnoticed! The effort to build workarounds is worsened by having restrictions on question slides that do not apply to other slides, which for example not being able to add a button and having to use a SmartShape (which does not reuse the button styles), etc. That means trying several solutions workaround until you can find one where all the workaround steps are feasible and you can get a perfect result.

  In any case, I'll mark this message as answered and call it a day (I have another question about styling SmartShapes used as buttons but post it separately) =)

• next chapter menu button weirdness

  Hello

  I came across something, (a glitch?), quite by chance yesterday. I work in CS4.

  Each of my deadlines has an end action set to return to the table of contents and videos that was just playing games. It works very well.

  Each scenario has the Menu set to 'Return to the last Menu' distance it works very well.

  My videos contain only 1 chapter, so watching a movie, if I type "next chapter" what button it takes me to the table of contents. It makes sense, because it essentially just reaches the end of the video, and activates the end Action. However, if I hit the "next chapter" button twice (which I did accidentally) it takes me to the next video, as indicated in the table of contents. I have no problem with that. BUT now when you hit the "menu" button of this newly responsible for video, need me the menu wrong - screen display that we are - instead of me back to the table of contents, which was the last menu visited, although two clicks on it y a. I tried this chapter before 2 x test on several discs of the series, from various videos. I can't understand why he constantly falls on the screen about us. This screen is #2 alphabetically in the project list, if that means something...?  "_Main_Menu is #1.

  I thought that I was reviewing for the last time before I send this DVD. Now, I'm wondering how to solve this problem!  Is it because I just specified 'return to the last menu' for each scenario, rather than specifically specifying the menu name?

  You can try to specify instead of letting this "as what?"

  This could just out you of trouble. The thought here is that with the double press, you've moved from TT1 on TT2 and the menu command 'back to the last' - being non-specific - could not functional due to change a SPRM internal.   Your problem sounds as if something in the abstraction layer went all fruit-shaped.

  Running OS 10.11.4 - Safari 9.1 sidebar will not be hidden after closing.

  After closing that - Safari?  Have you been to view-> Hide Sidebar to ensure it is hidden?  I have the sidebar hidden on my computer, and whenever I run Safari, it is not.

  I have a problem in my computer, its not display hidden files and folders. In folder options, I tried to check SHOW the FILES AND FOLDER CACHE and click on APPLY and OK but it does not work. Still hidden files are not displayed. but when I opened again Folder Options the one that is chosen is DO NOT DISPLAY the FILES AND FOLDERS HIDDEN. Several times I did but the same stills. I am logged in as administrator. How can I fix?

  Is there a way to create a next and previous button action without having to code each button (set of State transition, while in the State)?  I know that this is possible in Flash, but I use catalyst right now because it's so convenient.

  Within Flash Catalyst no there is no concept of variables in Flash Catalyst. This would be something you could add via ActionScript and using Flash Builder.

  I have a quite unusual question with Nightly build 15.0a1 for Windows x 64 (x 64).
  I can't place the button to cancel loading a Web page next to the page reload button - everywhere else, it is possible to place, but not in this exact spot. If I do, it becomes visible in the wizard of customization but not in normal display mode. In normal mode, it is visible when placed on other places.

  This is how it works.

  You must place something in the space between the button Reload and Stop seeing them as two separate buttons or switch otherwise the two buttons.

  • Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
  • Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise (space or separator) for two separate buttons.
