  Remember that this is the reason for having a SHARED NETWORK... you share all. If you and I are working on a project that is shared on the network, we could work on and update the project. If you don't want this to be the case, do not share some files on the network. In other words, if I don't want then it in my music, I do not share my music directory.

  Hi, this is a really stupid mistake.

  I just deleted 100s of raw files from lightroom, useless stuff that I should have deleted at the time but that he was too lazy to do. I now try to purge all the waste and it takes me days (that's for the past 3 years or so).

  This morning I just deleted several hundred images I went to empty the trash and it's already empty, and it's only then that I realise I was just delete files from Lightroom and not from the diskette. It is several hours of work, is it possible that I can identify now in the folder from the finder that images aren't in the LR, because these are the ones I want to get rid of for good. I don't want to keep them there taking up valuable memory space or restore them in LR and have to do it all again. Help!

  I would do the following:

  1. YOUR CATALOG BACKUP
  2. Synchronize folders in question (perhaps on the record higher level parent)
     -Uncheck the box 'Search the metadata updated' when syncing
     -Select "import new photos" when syncing
  3. Remove photos ("remove disk") just imported by Synchronize to in LR (from the view "Previous import") after each import (if more than one folder)

  This should remove all images not previously in your catalog, but in your file (s).

  It would be great if it worked with the new OS of El captain - it doesn't.

  I see the files running on the activity monitor, but I can't find the files even in Hidden Application Support as it says they are?

  Can I delete an event files in the bundle of fcpx without mishap? I tried to delete them in FCPX, but it does not work. The event, in that they were damaged when connecting the drive cable broke.

  As soon as, an event I had lost both its icon, something strange. I copied the contents of a new event, but they have not been physically displaced and former cannot be deleted. Now, months later a few files in this case is no longer 'claim' be linked tho the audio is always.

  There are a lot of audio and video clips stored in this case overall, but only a few that I use. That is why I hope that I can just go in the bundle and throw in the trash, but you worry, it could the CurrentVersion.fcpevent could go loco.

  I guess you can, but if there are already problems, why dig the hole even deeper.

  I copy the entire library on a spare drive and play with the copy, leaving your original library in tact. Kinda like having a backup reverse.

  Once understand you the problems in the copied library you can move forward with confidence and apply the changes to the original.

  BTW: Start with the removal of the Flexolibrary in the contents of the package, it can re - build and fix things.

  As mentioned by others, it's time for you to start to use RMAN to make your life easier.

  If you want to identify the archive logs generated before starting your backup, check your alerts log. You will see something like the following in your alert before 'begin backup ": log

  My advice is to use CD - r and not the CDRW. They are much cheaper and they are much more reliable. If you throw a now and then, it costs only a few cents.

  Not sure if it is different on a "BOLD". Can you try to reset the unit by removing the battery for a minute and let it start up?

  I think this will not help you if you would try to recover this file of HARD drive recovery once again!
  You need a recovery disk! This disc would only create a HARD disk partition once again!

  This means that you must create the recovery disk, first using the Toshiba recovery disc creator! This tool is preinstalled!

  So after you have created a successfully recovery disk, you can try to delete the folder from the HARD drive. But to be honest, I don t recommend this I want to say that this folder can be very useful in the future in case something goes wrong with your system

  You can try to disable UAC first
  Disable UAC is as easy as start > run > msconfig > tools > disable UAC > Ok.

  If your software has been installed successfully. You can delete the .exe file
