  How did you create the index '6' in the first place? I guess it was using the button on the toolbar in form or using the dialog designer character?

  If so, this is what we call' difficult shape 'or a' layout set override shaped "and is considered bad style. To enhance the features of FrameMaker, you should do your formatting with predefined paragraph styles and character only.

  Most of the models focus on the format I've seen have predefined formats for exposing characters and subscript characters. Select Format > character > catalog to view the catalogue of character.   Currently, it is one of my screens works.  The Narrator speaks of a video is displayed.  The user clicks on play to see the video.  At the end of the video continue button appears.  When the student clicks on the button continue the Narrator speaks once again, and the course continues.

  The challenge comes in when I'm with captioning.  Given that Captivate is somehow not enough let us create closed captioning for anything other than the slide audio, does anyone know a work around that would allow me to get closed captioning should appear when the user clicks on the button continue?

  Ahh... I think you are referring to the level of the audio object.  You put the audio maybe on the legend of the success of the button, or the value of the action of the Play Audio button maybe?

  CC text displays only the audio, slide to the objects or the audio level triggered by advanced actions.

  So if you want the text to display on the screen as a result of your action of button you need to achieve by having the text appear in a legend which is illustrated by a tip action.  If your audio is attached to the legend ONE success of the button, just use this legend to display the text in audio.

  When I work on leaves in Cp7, I have a naming convention that I use compared to the slide that I'm working on. For some reason any it don't let me use the same name, even if the object that previously had the name has been deleted. So I guess there must be a way to erase these names so that they can be used on different objects.

  Sorry, it's one of the annoying things in Captivate.  No way to reuse a label that has already been used. But labels are case sensitive: have you tried to take advantage of a single character?

• How can I remove a Flash movie?

  I am a pro at graphics but a real beginner in film... I'm playing with a clip of 5 minutes and the thought that I wanted to add a Flash movie. I applied the film and saved the file (my first mistake). Now I find that I don't really like how instant film works and want to return just a plain, no show, nothing complicated, don't clip. I know that if I ask another movie, it will change the existing sequence, but how do I get rid of it all together without going back to raw images?

  Well, if you have already registered your project and closed, you need to remove the whole Flash movie to your timeline and re - assemble your video footage from scratch.

  If you created a Flash movie, and you have not yet closed the program, you can, of course, simply click on the button cancel in the action bar.

  OK - I got out my trusty Photoshop Elements 10 - The Missing Manual and figured it out. What I was trying to describe, it was how to make images with 'tab' images 'floating '? This has somehow reset without my knowledge. What you need to do to get your images 'Floating' back is to click on "EDIT" in your editor - at the bottom of the drop-down list hover your cursor to "GÉNÉRAL" and click on - at the bottom of the drop-down list, click in the bottom left box 'ALLOW FLOATING DOCUMENTS IN FULL EDIT MODE' - and then click OK.

  That solved my problem!

  I have to go through some exercises for self-learning. Alas, the presenter speaks so slow that I struggle not to fall asleep between words. :-(

  Is there a way (or another player) which allows reading (for example, swf files) flash movies at greater than the original speed? I'm sure I could easily do in the face of less than 1.5 x or 2 x the original recording speed and always perfectly understand what is said and shown.

  Such a function would allow me to save a huge amount of time and learning effect would be certainly higher than with the current configuration.

  Try http://www.enounce.com for flash files. You can speed up and slow down playback speed. They have a free trial of 7 days and the price is less than $30.

  You can also adjust the playback speed in windows media player for avi files. Select one) "Now Playing" in the top toolbar, b) "improvements", c) "play speed settings.

  No one can answer that for you - if your site uses features of flash 8, then you don't have a choice but to
  publish to Player 8 or remove these features and publish to a previous version. In fact, it is a
  catch 22 because we, the developers are those who pioneer new as everyone else to get
  adopt the most recent readers - if we all decide to do not, then nobody will be upgraded and take
  advantage of technology - and we'd still be in the era of 3 or 4 flash.

  -So the question is, your site can be published to an older player because you are not using any flash 8

  BTW... penetration for flash 8 is the fastest compared to all previous versions and flash 9
  already on the same track. If you use the features of flash 8 and then do what we all do and use a reader

  Probably the limit of what you can stand! There is a limit of 16000 images in the scenario, but this probably isn't what you are running into here.

  If you have a lot of pictures and maybe some videos, and your swf file is maybe over 1 or even 500K then maybe you take the wrong approach. You should probably look into with external assets which are preloaded skillfully just where they are needed.

  This will cut down on time, publish but will also produce a better experience for the end-user and let the flash player to better manage the memory usage.

  Look into the MovieClipLoader class.

  My flash animation is set to 100% width and height and it works very well on my PC on IE 6,7, FF 2, Safari 3 and Opera, but on my Mac, the will of the film do not appear unless I change my actual values of 100% at values of height and width. Anyone have any ideas here?

  Thanks, yes I have, I got that. I found the problem though. It wasn't what I thought it was. Above my flash animation, I got my rendering of the footer and the footer has a css opacity filter that was my flash movie disappear in FF on Mac.
