Can I pick up Vista?

Hello

I just bought an older Dell Optiplex who had originally installed Windows Vista but had been downgraded to XP. Can I restore the computer to how Vista was installed? And if I do I will answer Vista? This is the product key is the top of the PC.  If this does not work, is there another way to return to Vista? Or I'll just go out and buy a Vista CD?

Thank you.

Hello
