an enternainer...

I have Rise of Nations / Thrones and Patriots and the game plays absolutely perfectly on my Windows7 Home Premium 64-bit system. Given that some people have problems, and others like me have no problem to run the game, I suggest that you go to the homepage of the game and try the demo before you buy the full game.

Have you installed Windows 7 device drivers for your make and model. If this is not the case, then go to the support web site factory and download Windows 7 drivers to a folder on your PC and then first install the drivers for the card mother/chipset, followed by USB, SATA, LAN, Audio and all other pilots.

Find the website of your computer manufacturer support.

But when I try to select - the OK button remains grayed out.

  • Can I upgrade to windows vista home Premium 32 bit on 64-bit operating system

Im running windows 7 Home premium on opus 64-bit system.  Can I upgrade to windows vista Home premium 32-bit...

    Hello

This is not an upgrade from Windows 7 to Vista.

It is a downgrade that Vista is the previous operating system before Windows 7 came out and you would have to BUY a COMPLETE of Vista version and do a fresh install of Vista; but before you buy Vista, check first that your computer manufacturer provides the Vista drivers for your model computer.

Microsoft sells more Vista; Try Amazon.com.

    Hello

You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.

32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.

32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

I do have a HP OEM DvD and I wonder if I can use Vista Home Premium 64 - bit RETAIL COPY my sister to reinstall my machine.

    Thank you very much
    Donn

    Hello

You can also use this method.

You do not have a Vista disc that came with the computer to reinstall with, you should have a recovery Partition to do.

Here is the HP Compaq information on how to use the recovery partition to put your computer in a new State.

You press F11 at startup or through their Recovery Manager.

It is all explained in this link.

  • How can I get Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit installed on Windows 7 Home Premium 32 - Bit?

I decided to install Windows 7 on my computer for the 30 day free trial, but am now regretting it. I don't have the money to buy the product officially, so I want to reinstall my windows vista. I have the drive, but when I try to install the computer says that this version of windows is not compatible with it. How can I get my Windows Vista to install?

Also, I currently have windows 7 Home premium. It is a 32-bit operating system and is running on Service Pack 1. The version of windows that I am wanting to return is Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

I can't make the method for using the windows.old as my uncle decided to remove after installation of windows. I have 13, but even, I knew it was a bad idea. In any case, I would really help with this question.

Ranging from 32-bit to 64-bit is a single proposal for a NEW facility.

You can boot from the DVD and erase your old installation (wipe, from scratch, all not saved disappeared and everything must be installed manually - including drivers for hardware devices and software you have installed now) and install Windows Vista x 64.

  • Can't change screen brightness in Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit?

I recently updated my old A305 laptop Toshiba Satellite Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit for Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and it does not allow me to change the brightness of the screen, when I use the sliders, then click on save changes, nothing happens, tried to restart anything, tried the monitor generic PnP Manager peripherals/monitors/uninstall and nothing happens , can someone please help me my screen is literally blinding my eyes!

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We would be happy to help you with the problem you are facing today. I understand the difficulty.

Here are the instructions for setting the display brightness. Basically you can adjust the gamma in Windows or adjust the brightness on the screen itself:

    Within the BONE:

    1. press Ctrl + ESC, then type "control". This will put you in the control panel.

    2. double-click on the display icon.

    3. Select "Calibrate color" icon located on the left side of the screen next to a blue and yellow shield icon.

This wizard provides a walk through to adjust the settings of your screen for the color and the brightness of your monitor setting.

The Wizard "calibrate color" is good to cross, but the area you want to adjust brightness would be the page titled 'adjust gamma. You can adjust the settings until the screen has the brightness that you prefer.

    See also the link below.

Adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor

I hope this helps to solve the issue. If the problem persists, get back to us. We will be happy to help you.

    Thank you.

I am running windows 7 Home premium 64 bit on my laptop. I have a disc of windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, is it possible to upgrade to the ultimate disk, if so, how, if not how do I use the ultimate disc? Thank you very much, Mark.

No, you can't, but if its Windows 7 Ultimate you want, simply use the Windows 7 Ultimate product key to upgrade Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate using Anytime Upgrade.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

Cases of failure to upgrade Express:

    Windows 7 Anytime Upgrade fails:

If your getting the following: error: Windows Anytime Upgrade failed
This problem may occur if Windows 7 SP1 was downloaded by Windows Update, but has not yet been installed.
    See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2660811

Windows Anytime Upgrade fails with the error:
"every time that the upgrade has failed. Go online to solve the problem.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2658652

If Anytime Upgrade still does not work:

Shut down and restart your computer.

Make sure that the Windows updates have been installed.

Download the hotfix that contains a tool called CheckSUR, this tool will look at the package and the maintenance of records and difficulty any data corrupted, the tool is listed under kb947821 he can be found at the following link http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=947821

If Anytime Upgrade still does not work, turn off the user account control:

    1. go in user accounts in Control Panel

2 change user account control settings

    3. pull the slider to the level as low as possible

    4. restart the PC

    5. pass by the "Anytime Upgrade" as usual

    Try the following:

1 disable any security software before attempting to upgrade

    2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)

    3. disconnect all external devices before installing.

    4. check your hard disk for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    User account control permission

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
