Can I play Star Wars Battlefront 3 on my MacBook Pro?

Hi, can someone tell me if I can play the PC of Star Wars Battlefront 3 on my MacBook Pro version?  Are there special requirements or can I download the program and play?  I have a MacBook Pro with a processor Intel Core i5 with 4G memory on the 2.5 G and a card Intel HD Graphics with 1 400 MB.  Thank you.

All first if it's a PC game and you have not installed windows. N ° other you must go to the game site and look for the minimum specs for the game. Generally the minimum specifications"means that the system will work. but not as good as you want to. It can run on a Mac with Virtual PC installed, but I'm not sure. My daughter and my son built their own PC with graphics cards top of range to run PC games. Most laptop computers including windows are well with high-end video games.

  • Why Star Wars Battlefront 2 does not work on my computer?

    I recently bought a new computer that is running Windows 7. The game go as far as menu but if you try to play a game, dumps you on the desktop. It's an expensive game and I don't want you must stop playing because a new computer can not run a game that could my old one.

    Evansbrick,
    Star Wars Battlefront 2 is compatible with Windows 2000\XP.  You will need to contact the game manufacturer and find out if they will have a update\patch that will make it compatible with Windows 7.  You can try to run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode and see if that helps. • I can transplant my early 2011 2.7 GHz 13 "MacBook Pro hard drive into my late 2008 MacBook 5.1?

    The battery on my early 2011 2.7 GHz 13 '' MacBook Pro just exploded, almost destroying the machine. As I need to replace the battery and the trackpad, I guess that's maybe a good time to upgrade to an SSD, leaving me with the old 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive Serial ATA to play with. This hd currently has Yosemite and all my essential programs installed on it. I also saved it on an external drive via Time Machine.

    Meanwhile, I have a MacBook late 2008 5.1 I want to migrate everything to, however the HD is only 320 GB, resulting in errors when trying to make an update of Time Machine.

    Can I pop the hard drive of the 2011 MBP in my MacBook late 2008 5.1? Is the material compatible? The OS sees it's a different system at startup and make the necessary adjustments (No firewire, there less RAM, etc.)?

    If not, how can I move my Applications without moving on the entire hard drive? Or could I format the hard drive to 500 GB and then run the Time Machine backup? It would even work?

    A lot of variables here. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    I forgot to mention that the MacBook 5.1 is 2.4 GHz.

  • NEED HELP! How can I get 2560 * 1600 on Win 7? MacBook Pro 17 + Dell 30 inch PAM 3008 + Fusion 3

    I run THAT VM Ware Fusion 3 on a Mac Book Pro 17 hooked up to a Dell 30 inch screen

    I can manage to get a resolution of 2560 * 1600 on the MacBook Pro.

    However, the highest resolution I can get Win 7 is 2048 * 15336 (and I want to be able to set it to 2560 * 1600 to take advantage of my 30-inch screen!)

    I searched the KB and found an article that mentioned that I should add the following lines in the vmx file (which I did)

    The lines are at the bottom of the vmx file

    svga.maxWidth = "2560.

    svga.maxHeight = "1600".

    svga.vramSize = "16384000".

    KB Article: http://KB.VMware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC & docType = kc & externalId = 1003 & sliceId = 1 & docTypeID = DT_KB_1_1 & dialogID = 63746028 & StateID = 0% 200% 2066741566

    I did handling described in the KB above, however, restarted several times, but I still can't correct resolution to show in Windows

    Did you install VMware Tools? Without need of any settings to the file .vmx, the highest resolution I see is 2560 x 1920 (and 2560 x 1600 is an option).

    Edit: I suggest going out changes to the .vmx file, you set the size to 16 MB VRAM max
