  1. don't you restore the computer to factory settings?
  2. do you just restore the computer to an earlier time by using the system restore feature in Windows XP?

  I think this is a related issue of Windows, because it is the Manager to save the windows file that we are talking about here (right?). You should contact Microsoft for help with this one, I think. You expect to be able to delete entries simply by touching delete on your keyboard when they are concentrated (that is how it goes for the removal of the form entries specific autocomplete in Firefox), but I have not tried.

  I assume that you use the application overview.

  I can't find an answer to back up everything, but a workaround could be while the file menu options are visible, press the option key

  and the point of the window will become close, if you click on that dialogue will ask you if you want to restore the changes or save

  pressing Save will close the image with the changes and then move to the next image and so on.

  It is always a good idea to save and close all open documents. Should hang the system, failed, or through power failure, open documents are at risk.

  In system preferences: General, select shut down windows when you exit an application. From the Apple menu, both the reboot... and stop... the dialogues have a checkbox that will again open windows when you log in. Make sure they are turned off.

  If I understand correctly your mp3 files have been converted M4A iTunes and you want to make versions mp3 again, Yes? You can do it in iTunes settings rip as shown in the images below. Then when you do a right click on a particular track (or tracks) you will see the option "create mp3 version". Who will find then in your folder iTunes music, parallel to the m4a version.
