  Well, actually, you "Master Clip" has not really been cut. Only, it seems that there and there are a few instructions added to the project XML (PRPROJ) file.

  If you don't want these "subclips" showing more, simply delete them (their Lasso to select and press DELETE), leaving a gap. Now click and drag on the tail of the first part, then drag to fill this gap. Fact. You are in the uncut version. Everything is still there.

  Note: I use both terms, main and sub Clip, which have other, official meanings in PrPro, so do not confuse these. Here, I am referring to the original item, that you dragged to the timeline as a master Clip and not a Master Clip. When you cut, you produced subclips here and no video. These terms are for example only. Just to be clear, because I don't want directs you to the help files and get horribly confused.

  PS - I would just let the cuts, because they will be meaningless, unless you click - drag on the head, or tail at the Cup. Have a single Clip cut in small pieces has no real meaning, until you do something WITH the cuts.

  The iPad in my experience is very picky about which cable it will restore with. Error 9 is almost always related to the cable, NOT on the dock connector/flex cable. Use the official Apple cable if you still have it, or borrow one from a friend.

  If this does not work, it could also have something to do with the IPSW that you try to restore with. Try using a different IPSW or use to start the dfu mode and restore it. This could be because the 9 error may be related to kernel ramdisk rejecting the ASR because it is not signed correctly, so break the connection with the device and causing the error 9.

  To resolve this problem, replace the VCSA IP with hostname VCSA in the search service configuration file, ls_url.txt file.

  To replace the VCSA IP address with the host VCSA name in the ls_url.txt file:

  1. Connect to the VCSA via ssh under the root user
  2. Go to the directory/etc/vmware-sso using the command:

     CD/etc/vmware-sso

  3. Make a backup copy of the file ls_url.txt using the command:

     CP ls_url.txt ls_url.txt.bak

  4. Open the file ls_url.txt using a text editor
  5. Replace the VCSA IP address with the host name of the VCSA. For example:
