  If it's a full license or upgrade retail - Yes. You can move it to another computer as long as it is installed on a single computer at a time (and if it's a Windows 7 Upgrade version the new computer must have its own qualification license XP/Vista/7). The previous installation of Windows 7 on the old computer must be formatted or deleted. You will have to perhaps call Microsoft and explain what happened to complete activation. Turning it on the second computer will automatically be in effect 'disable' the license for the first computer. The key works with 32 and 64 bit, but can only be installed at a time.

  If it's an OEM license - don't. OEM licenses, including Windows preinstalled on a computer before purchase and Windows purchased separately, are related to the first computer, they are installed on and cannot be transferred to another computer. To install Windows on another computer, you will need to buy another copy.

  If you have important files on the desktop, save them first:

  Back up all your files and settings to avoid losing documents, photos and other information. Windows Easy Transfer is a free tool to copy files (not programs) from your PC and then transfer back after installation of Windows 7.   By default, your Cloud Creative applications are installed in the folder Program Files (Windows) or in the Applications (Mac OS) folder.  You can change the default installation installation location if you want to, but this is generally not recommended. To do this, open the Adobe Creative Cloud app and click the gear on the top icon to the right of the window. Choose Preferences > Apps > installation location > change. Navigate to the location you want, and then click Open. Your new installation location will appear in the menu.

  Note: Shared resources and temporary files will be stored on your primary drive.  If a lack of disk space prevents installation then make sure you have enough space on the main drive for temporary files and installation files extracted to be placed.
