Can not download emails (Gmail and Hotmail)

Original title: attachments

Have a new computer + Windows 8. Able to read emails (gmail & Hotmail), but not 'download?' information of Windows start page. When I click on play now etc. I get the blue screen of Internet Explorer. It worked perfectly since February. There is no warning etc. appeared.

Hello

Thanks for the reply.

The blue screen you can get after you click on the option to view now is app version of Internet Explorer. When you click on View now its redirecting you to a Web site that tries to open by using the Internet Explorer browser. On the screen you can see two apps, first half is App Mail and the second half of the screen is app of Internet Explorer. In Windows 8 you can share the same screen with 2 or 3 applications at the same time. This feature is called snap app. You can view the video in the link given under the heading Using applications side by side

Now, please provide the details requested below.

You can visit Web sites use App version of Internet Explorer?

If you can't see the Web site using the version of the application of Internet Explorer then I suggest to open Internet Explorer to office and follow the steps below.

(a) click on settings (speed symbol) on the upper right.

(b) click on Internet Options.

(c) click the tab programs , you will see a drop down under the heading Choose how you open links.

(d) click on always in Internet Explorer on the desktop. Ensure that the option tiles open Internet Explorer on the desktop is enabled.
