  When WindowsLive Mail opens, it enters a State "Not responding" immediately. The only button that accepts the interaction is 'Close' or 'X '.   1. you open Windows Live Mail from one account administrator or Standard?
  2. do you get this pop-up only when using Windows Live Mail?
  3. did you of recent changes on the computer before this problem?

  Method 1:
  I suggest you run Windows Live Essentials as administrator and check if it helps.

  (a) click Start and click run.
  (b) type Windows Live Essentials in Search.
  (c) right click on Windows Live Essentials and click Properties.
  (d) click the Compatibility tab.
  (e) to the check box for run this program as an administrator under the privilege level.
  (f) click apply and Ok.
  (g) check whether the problem is resolved.

  Method 2:
  If the problem persists I suggest you turn off user account control and check if it helps.
