  The only way to do a mac recognize CS3 as default would be to completely remove the CS4.

  In OSX new version prevails over the older versions. However, you can have two files of free fall apps you know on the CS3 cs3 anchor icon or an Alias on your desktop. CS3 does not save as CS4 it is just that the operating system makes all the files ID looks like the most recent version.

  There has never been a version FREE of Creative Suite 2. What is displayed on the website of Adobe, it's an activation-free setup and a serial number for CS2 to Adobe CS2 license customers but need to reinstall the software after our CS2 activation servers have been decommissioned. This isn't a software which can legally be installed and used by someone else to Adobe customers who previously CS2 license.

  As others in this thread have advised, there is no way to upgrade reduced CS2, even for CS2 customers paid. CS2 was released, it more than ten years. In general, Adobe had only reduced paths to upgrade to a version or two behind the current. CS2 is eight versions behind the current version of Creative Cloud 2015 of Adobe creative applications.

  I just upgraded to Yosemite and I can't make the package in InDesign CS6 or CC.

  The message is "impossible to copy necessary or related files.

  Solved! Links whose names had slashes caused the problem. Changed the oblique in names, related bars and package now works.

• How can I get fonts for package in InDesign CC?

  When I control upstream and package my InDesign CC file for the printer fonts are synchronized before CC fonts, but don't go to the font file. Instead, there is a document called AdobeFnt16.lst.

  How my printer to get access to the fonts? In the preflight, they show "protected" and don't accumulate in the fonts folder.

  These "protected" fonts are Typekit that are not allowed for packing. There are two options for a printer:

  (1) any printer worthy of their name will have at least a copy of InDesign InDesign of CC. is the main application for commerical printing output. If so, they will have access to the Typekit fonts if you submit the InDesign file and resources.

  (2) you can create a PDF file using the built-in PDF recommended by your printer. It is a well-established practice that ensures all fonts will be integrated, including the Typekit fonts.

  I got my Mac reset, but it does not accept the backup file I did of Indesign CS3. I looked online and I tried to download Indesign CS3 from these two links, but keep this error message:

  My client needs a CS6 indesign file and I created the document in Indesign CS3 , as I have not had time to update my mac and my operating system and subscribe to Adobe CC - so I'd like some advice please.

  I was able to open the CS3 file in CS6/CC on the laptop of a friend but there are lines of text outside the illuminated in pink Hi text box that cannot be reformatted. Also the pink highlight never goes.

  

  Since I'm awake again, I just download the new versions of the DejaVu and I see no sign of problem any longer.

  I searched on the adobe site to check if I can get an upgrade to Indesign CS3 to Indesign CS5 server. I have Indesign CS3 license, but must migrate to Indesign CS5 Server. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy Indesign CS3 to Indesign CS5 server upgrade. Or I have to buy a new license for Indesign CS5 server. Any help on this is appreciated. Thank you.

• InDesign CS3 is in conflict with CS2 Web on the same PC

  Hi, I use CS2 Web on my PC under Windows XP2, and I installed InDesign CS3 on the same computer. The installation went well. The software works well. The problem is that I received an InDesign file to a co-worker who is also running InDesign CS3, but I can't open the file. I get an error of my InDesign message telling me that it cannot open the file because I need to upgrade my version of the software (upgrade check tells me that there are no other updates available for my InDesign). In the HELP menu I check the version and I'm under InDesign 3.0.1. The packaging clearly says CS3 on it. But he insists on acting as if InDesign was only CS2 as the Web Suite that I have on the same PC (but I'm not runing this software at the same time as InDesign) and does not open the files of other users of InDesign CS3 in my office.

  All the files I created with my InDesign and sends to a work colleague appear to them as if they were introduced in CS2.

  This conflict is avoidable somehow? Or is the software designed to not be compatible with Adobe software to other versions on the same PC?

  What I wanted to say is: you have CS 3.0.1 and CS3 (5.0?) installed at the same time, but you double click on the new file and seeks to open it in CS 3.0.1.

  If you need only cs3 for a 'small' job, use the 30 day trial to finish your work.

  If you need longer than that, you will need to purchase a license of cs3 (which adobe is no longer sold, but can be purchased in a 3rd party).

Documents p65.  Today, I had to run the Adobe Cleaner application and reinstall all my CC and other apps, but InDesign CS3 will not take my serial number of PageMaker 6.5.  I tried to remove the hyphens and all that, but he does not accept the serial number.  Help?

  CS6 is a part of the subscription of the CC.
