Dell - bad logonui.exe laptop image

Hello, I have a Dell laptop and when I start it in the turn, before he arrived at the login screen, a mistake similar pop message and says the following...

"LogonUI.exe - Bad Image".

C:\Windows\systems32\avrt.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program with the help of the original installiation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support"

And after I click 'ok' to the message, it allows me to go to the login screen and my password and then press ENTER, then it just sits there and loads and loads and loads and it never opens the screen or anything like that.

I really don't know exactly what is the name of my product, however, my problem is very specific:

First I got an error message titled something in the sense of "logonui.exe application error" with a background black, I couldn't start my laptop up so I went to recovery and just all backed up successfully and went to reformat but it got stuck at 2% until he finally said the Recovery Manager has stopped working , I tried just about everything until finally my laptop just say 'auto repair start' goes to a blue screen, restarts and repeats again and again. I can't really do anything, it seems pretty well doomed. It seems like a virus, but really, I don't know what I can do, if the only solution is to send in for repair, can I try now?

After clicking 'OK', the screen remains black with a white cursor and never progresses from here.

I have repeatedly tried to "STARTUP REPAIR" and successfully restored the system to a point prior to the error.

Can I remove the "gdiplus.dll" file, copy it from an external device, or the recovery partition to resolve the "LogonUI.exe - bad Image" error?  Sometimes I can get access to a command prompt via 'repair your computer' after pressing f8, although sometimes the screen turns all white.  The system seems to scroll through several modes of "not start" periodically, and if I just continued to restart I eventually get to a point where repair utilities seem to work fine, even if none of them have managed to solve the problem.

    File or directory C/Program ~ 1 / Toshiba/Smart face V is corrupt & unreadable.

Can someone help me or suggest any way I can fix it both of these laptops. It seems very strange that both of these computers have stopped working at the same time according to windows automatic updates in October 09.

    Thank you Gary

    Hello

AFAIK the LogonUI.exe is responsible for connecting to the Windows operating system.
If the exe file is corrupt then you won't be able to connect to the operating system.

You don t the recovery disk but you have the HARD drive on the second partition recovery this may be your last resort.

Switch on and press F8. Choose fix my computer.
Then new window appears offering the option called: HARD drive recovery.

Choose this option and see if you can start the HDD recovery procedure.

    Hello

AVG might be a part of the problem because 8.x and 9.x together have been responsible for questions.

For everything you have ever had on the machine except the one you want to end up with the help of
be sure to use their removal tools as these can leave problems causing remains. Of course
never have more than one major antivirus on the computer.

Here's what I use and recommend:

Avast and Prevx proved extremely reliable and compatible with all I have
launched on them. Microsoft Security Essentials and Prevx have also proven to be very
reliable and compatible. Use MSE or Avast and Prevx, Prevx 3 but not all.

Avast Home free - stop any shields is not necessary except leaving Standard, Web, and
    Operation of the network.

    Prevx - Home - free

    Windows Firewall

Windows Defender (is not necessary if you use MSE)

    Protected IE - mode

IE 8 - SmartScreen filter WE (IE 7 phishing filter)

I also IE always start with asset if filter InPrivate IE 8.
(It may temporarily turn off with the little icon to the left of the + bottom
    right of IE)

Two versions of Avast are available 5.x and 4.8 x

Avast - home - free - 5.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-
Click on the Orange icon - top right - settings - click on the status bar - uncheck shields you
    disabled - click OK

Avast 4.8 x - home - free - stop shields, you don't need except leaving Standard, Web,.
and the network running. (Double-click the blue icon - look OK. - upper left - Shields details
    Finish those you don't use).
    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download#TAB4

Or use Microsoft Security Essentials - free
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Prevx works well alongside MSE or Avast

Prevx - home - free small, fast, exceptional protection CLOUD, working with other security
programs. It is a single scanner, VERY EFFICIENT, if it finds something come back here
or use Google to see how to remove.

    PCmag - Prevx - Editor's choice
    http://www.PCMag.com/Article2/0, 2817,2346862,00.asp

Also get Malwarebytes - free - use as scanner only. If you ever think malware and that
would be unusual with Avast and occasional Prevx running with the exception of a low level cookie
(not much), to UPDATE and then run it as a scanner. I have a lot of scanners and they
never find anything of note that I started to use this configuration.
