Can set the default value in the field with the rule

I have a rule to set the xWebStartDate to dateCurrent(), but it does not work. I disabled all other rules, so there is no conflict. This rule is only to try to fix the date of xWebStart, nothing else.
'Use the activation of rule condition' is checked. I selected 'Action of use' and 'check in Selected. I have added the xWebStartDate field and I have a default custom
< $dprDefaultValue dateCurrent () = $ >
Thus, it is for content that already exists and someone is to check in a new revision.
I know that my rule works, because I added the dDocAuthor field and set it to "infOnly" and that works. This problem occurs if the action is updated also. But for check-ins again, I put the xWebStartDate to dateCurrent successfully.

Update: it's existing content, which already has a xWebStartDate. The rule must replace the existing value.

In your case, you cannot use default value for the new revisions, because your content is already a value for the metadata field.

Alternative:
(1) change your rule
(2) on the general tab, check "Use activation Condition rule" and click Edit
(3) in 'Edit Activation Condition' window, click on the tab "side effects".
(4) add the following...

<$if isCheckin $> [[%or you can also use (IdcService and IdcService like "CHECKIN_SEL_FORM")%]]
    <$xWebStartDate=dateCurrent()$>
<$endif$>

  • How can I set a default value for a field from an LOV?

    The LOV are:

    Select txtName, ID
    of FAC_LK_PROJECT_PRIORITY
    order by 1

    I tried:
    Select the FAC_LK_PROJECT_PRIORITY priority code where txtname = "average";
    and set the type of default value to be the body of the PL/SQL function, but that did not work - I get this error:

    ORA-06550: line 2, column 1: PLS-00428: an INTO clause in this SELECT statement
    Error ERR-9131 in PLSQL function for default code point body, item = P19_PRIORITYID
    Ok

    The element is a list of selection w / db as the source column: PRIORITYID

    Assuming you want to provide a (default) value when the extraction process of line returns null for the element, a default value of body of the PL/SQL type function would be:

    declare l_id number := null;begin  for c1 in (select id from FAC_LK_PROJECT_PRIORITY priority where txtname = 'Medium') loop     l_id := c1.id;     exit;  end loop;  return l_id;end;

  • Copy the default value from another field in the same page

    Hello

    I need to pass a value from one page to another page and I want to use this key as DEFAULT VALUE for a field.

    If I create a form tabular all it's ok, but if I create a normal page. I am not able to do that.

    1. 1. I call the page and I pass the value. I also have a FIELD of VIEW and I can see the correct value.
    2. 2. I create a field with attributes of this:
      1. a. source > Source = database column type
      2. b. sources > Source value or expression = FK_ID_DA (the column name)
      3. c. default > default = P27_PK_ID_DA (the field that contains the value)
    3. 3. on the screen, I see P27_PK_ID_DA and not the value

    Where is the error?

    Thank you very much

    Not sure that you can READ the other pages... Such that if you are on Page 27 and have a field that you want to use on page 30, page 27 is presented and its items in session state, you can 'see' on page 30.

    So, if you set the default value: P27_PK_ID_DA, then you should get by default, you are looking for...

    Only if the default value Type is set on the PL/SQL Expression. If the literal value "P27_PK_ID_DA" is seen then the Type of default value should currently be set static text with Substitutions of State of Session, in which case the value of session state must be referenced using the syntax of substitution string:

    1st post!

    Hey Neal.uj,

    Welcome to the forum!

    You can set the default action on a folder to explore instead of to achieve this effect. To do this:

    ·         Click Start

    ·         Click on Control Panel

    ·         Open Folder Options

    ·         Click the File Types tab

    ·         Click the folder

    ·         Click on Advanced

    ·         Click on Explorer

    ·         Click set as default

    ·         Click OK

    ·         Repeat the same process for file

    ·         When you're done, click close

    Hope that helps, I look forward to hearing from you.

    How can set the background color of the status bar?

    How can set the background color of the status bar?
    Using this code for the status bar:
    LabelField statusField = new LabelField ("Good Morning", LabelField.USE_ALL_WIDTH |) LabelField.NON_FOCUSABLE | LabelField.HCENTER)
    {
    int _backgroundColour = Color.LIGHTGREEN;
    public void paint (Graphics g)
    {
    g.setBackgroundColor (Color.RED);
    g.Clear ();
    Super.Paint (g);
    }
    };

    Font defaultfont = Font.getDefault ();
    Police smallfont = defaultfont.derive (Font.PLAIN, 12);

    statusField.setFont (smallfont);
    setStatus (statusField);

    When I ran the code you have above, my status background color was red.  Is not what you see?  If so, please provide the BlackBerry model and software version that you are testing.  You can find this under Options.

    Or if you try to do something else, please provide details.

    I tested this in the BlackBerry Simulator included with version 4.5.0 BlackBerry JDE (4.5.0.44).

    To do this in version 4.1, first call getColor and save the current color.  Then call setColor, setting the color to the color you want to use for the background.  After this call call fillRect, starting with 0, 0 and go to the size of the field (use this.getWidth () and this.getHeight () to get this).  This must fill in the field with your specified color.

    To allow the drawing of the default content of the field call setColor once again, passing in the original color, then call super.paint.

  • The default value for a property with data of type boolean

    Hi all

    Is it a system preference setting, where the default value for a property with data of type boolean can be a Virgin? I want to keep the value by default in a vacuum, but every time I save the property even after empty selection, the default value changes to FALSE.

    Capture.JPG

    In this case Boolean doesn't help you, you mayneed to create a chain of ownership and have true/false / "" as your list of values

  • How to set the rules of campaign for SFDC response

    Hello

    using E10, could someone explain what to do the last two columns in the default rules for campaign response

    average dialog when you use SFDC your CRM Sales?

    If I check the box "Salesforce replied" example for both outgoing emails sent AND response form submit,.

    What is the implication of this? Is there an involvement with Eloqua, SFDC, or both? What happens if I leave the box unchecked?

    And activity which answer should I check the radio 'Salesforce default' button?

    topliner_def_camp_ruleQ.png

    Couldn't really find any explanation to this form of documentation available...

    WBR,

    -tatu

    In fact, I found a bit of an answer to my own question of the SFDC UI, where you camodest the associated campaign of the advanced settings.

    He said

    On this page, set up the governing statutes of campaign members of campaign who has responded or not to trace:

    • Enter the articles desired as "Participant" or "sent".
    • Set a default value for the list of choices.
    • For the statuses you want to count in the field of responses #, mark responded. Warning: Edit this box has broad effects. When you change, these fields Member change accordingly: responded, last Date answered and dern.

    So I quess the Salesforce replied box the picture is exactly the same as in the INTERFACE of SF. The same applies by default.

  • How to set a default value in the Import Wizard delimited for the date?

    Hello community,

    I am currently trying to import some files delimited in a SQL table via the Import Wizard (right-click on a Table "import data... ") with delimited as input (.dsv) files.

    In step 4 of the wizard, I put the columns in the Source files for the target of the columns of the Table.

    Now, this is where my problem. Whenever a target column has the format "date", I define the mask of translation you want for each column.

    I would like to define a mask by default so that the same format is always used.

    User interface, it looks like this field also exists:

    field_greyed_out.png

    However I can't put it in the wizard itself, and I'm not able to find the option in the preferences.

    I tried the following preferences (Oracle SQL Developer 4.0.2):

    Preferences-> database->-> all NLS date 3 preferences set to "HH24:MI:SS DD. MM YYYY ".

    Preferences-> Migration-> translators-> Format of Date Source default value "HH24:MI:SS DD. MM YYYY ".

    Preference-> Migration-> data move Options->

    DataMove.PNG

    But still, I have to type it every time.

    Can someone explain how to set the default value?

    You can not.

    But.

    In the next major release, we seek to:

    • selection of a menu selector common date formats drop-down
    • Save your import settings session and their reloading for later import

    I think you have a good idea, maybe it defaults to MRU. When we start the process of the Beta/early adopter, be sure to check and let us know what you think. For the moment, and what I'm doing, I copy the date format string and paste them in such as required. I'm not a super big fan of having default values in 'automatically' added because it can lead to mistakes, and in this case, data corruption issues.
