  I'm a slight panic because I'm running my first live session (with a sports celebrity) Monday, and the powerpoint file its representatives sent me a number of embedded, WMV videos that won't play in connect.

  I am aware that adobe will play all files except flv video. Can anyone recommend a good wmv > flv converter?

  I tried an online application, but I could not then import the FLV file in powerpoint.

  I also tried to convert the whole ppt to SWF format. This downloads ok but still will not play videos or animations.

  Would be really grateful for the help - is it possible to import the FLV ppt files and they will play then?

  The issue seemed to be a problem aside presenter with the demo version of presenter not able to publish (even locally).

  Sent the zip converted to Harry. But just to re - confirm, as videos have been inserted using Powerpoint, not all videos may work. If Harry, please check in advance.

  I tried to return my video output to the screen of the laptop LCD without result. Here is what happened:

  I wanted to view some AVI files that I have on my HARD drive on my TV screen, so I thought I could extend my Windows desktop on the screen of the TV. However, after you check the box «Extend my Windows...» "and by clicking on apply, the tick would disappear and there is no output to the TV. So I assumed that it wouldn't work. I then later tonight then turned off the laptop. Don't start the next morning, there was no video output on the LCD screen of the laptop! Remembering the day before sentencing, I thought that the release would now my TV screen. So I plugged the S-video cable and video in fact all was now going to my TV. So I imagined that do the opposite, extend my desktop to the laptop screen, could solve the problem. Yet once the tick would disappear when I clicked on apply. Since this is what happened the night before, I thought that a restart would fix it. After the reboot, the video was still running the S-video port. Now, I'm stumped! So I decided to connect an external VGA port monitor and enough curiously, video was present there as well. But I still could not extend my desktop to the internal lcd screen. By pressing FN + F8 to switch between CRT and LCD did not help either!

  Can you get it someone please let me know what I should do to fix the problem? I don't think that the LCD is dead because the reboot there is a small Flash of light on the screen lcd laptop but nothing else after that!

  Thanks for your help with this issue.

  I am scanning documents as PDF files and they are all scanned in version 1.3. What determines the version of the PDF? How can I get to analyze in the version 1.4 or higher? I have the latest Adobe Reader and my scanner is to update its drivers. The application that I am downloading the PDF file for does not accept version 1.3. I could convert all, but that creates another step and needs of my office to the analysis in the latest version and they will not all be updated each PDF. How can I update to get it to default to the latest version?

• I can't get videos play in Firefox until I close Firefox and reopen it. Super frustrating!

  I keep Firefox open at almost any time and when I load a new page and try and play a video, that this is on youtube, Facebook or another source, it will not play. He stays right on the loading circle all the time. The only time where things happen is when I completely quit Firefox and re - start. It's pretty frustrating for me because I often have several tabs open with I'm working on other things that I don't want to close. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you
