can't put my HP printer in mine network windows 7

I can't get my HP printer in network of mine

How to ask a question...

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/555375

Beyond that...

The wireless printer is already connected to your wireless home network?

If yes have you installed the software from the manufacturer of the printer wireless on your Windows 7 computer.

For example...

When I installed my camera HP J4680 AiO (print/fax/scan), I did these steps...

  1. Creates an ad hoc connection between the J4680 and my laptop Win 7.
  2. Configured the J4680 manually with my network SSID and the encryption type and encryption key. I did steps 1 and 2 because my random 63 character ASCII encryption key contains characters that are not available in the network control panel on the J4680 wireless. If you use a key encryption without special characters, you should be able to simply configure network settings from the printers Panel wireless.
  3. The provided HP software, including drivers on my laptop Win 7 installed. The HP software went out and found the J4680 on my network.

  • How can I permanently add a printer to a network?

    Hello
I have a network with 10 knots. Printer is connected to one of the nodes. When I want to connect to the printer, I first connect to this node and add the printer. But when I restart the other PC, the connection between PC and printer fails. I have to reconnect to this node and add the printer.

  • How can I put/pin a shortcut to "manage network connections" in the start menu?

The window "manage network connections", I want to talk about is one that can be found on the left side of the window "Network and sharing Center", placed under the heading 'Tasks'

Manually open to this place...  All the way you want to manage the connections then.

Drag the icon in the 'address bar' above to your desktop or start menu, or the taskbar, etc...  It will create a shortcut.

  • CAN´t find other computers on the home network Windows.

I have a home network windows already defined with two desktop with Windows XP and a laptop with Windows 2000. The computers are connected to a router with ethernet cables and the lap top wireless (WiFi) to the same router. Now, I'm trying to connect a fourth computer (a desk top) with Windows Vista. It works fine to connect to Internet, but I can't reach the other computers on the network. On other computers, I can see a 'new', but I don't see the others of a "new". Can someone help me with the configuration of the computer "Vista"?  Thanks in advance.  / Thomas

    Hello

To home network computers running different versions of Windows, we need to make sure that what follows.
    a. ensure that all computers are in the same workgroup.
    (b) the value of the private network location type.
    c. open ports in your firewall to allow file and printer sharing.
d. turn on additional file and printer sharing options.
    e. consider using password protected sharing.
    5 using the network card.

The NIC in the network and sharing Center is a graphical view of the computers and devices on your network, showing how they are connected and including problem areas. A computer running Windows XP can be detected and appear on the network map, you may need to install the Protocol Link-Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) on this computer.

To install LLTD, visit the following link and download: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922120

I would like to replace my hard drive with an SSD on my HP mini 110 laptop.  Is this possible, and is there a DVAR?

  • How can I put a shortcut for a private network virtual desktop with a MacBook Air?

I can't find ANYTHING telling me how to put these types of shortcuts on the desktop for OS X 10.11.4. It is obvious in the Windows.

Select the item then hold down the command and Option keys while dragging the icon of its location on the desktop, then release the keys. Otherwise, select the element and CTRL - or RIGHT click and select Create an Alias in the context menu. This method creates the alias in the same directory as the actual file. You then can he hang out everywhere where you want it or copy and paste. You can then remove the alias of the original file.

  • HP Pavilion 23-h024 AIO: can I put my HP Pavilion 23-h024 network card to support the 802.11ac?

Our wifi at work is extremely slow and the technician who came told us that we have a router with capacities of 5 GHz. My boss wonders if our PC is supported by an upgrade on the network card before we spend the money to do this. Is there anyone can tell me which cards are compatible with our PC? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Upgrading a PC AIO is much more difficult than a normal desktop PC.

The easiest way to update your AIO PC would be to upgrade with a wifi usb 802.11ac adapter.  Wifi installed mini PCIe wifi adapter uses the setting of 1 x 1 antenna built into your PC. Your PC is not able to be upgraded to a wifi with ability to stream adapter 2 x 2. You would need this ability to upgrade, but your PC has not.

I have a collection of wifi usb adapters for my own use.  My favorite usb adapter is the ASUS USB-AC56.

Note you will also need to upgrade the router to able to bradcasting your SSID to 2.4 and 5 Ghz with the 802.11ac specification.

    @helpmepickone

I've updated some information in this post. See paragraph 2.

  • Can I put my Satellite A100 - 811 OS to Windows Vista ulitimate?

Hello, I want to improve my A100-811 OS to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition instead of WinXP.
I find the drivers for this model easily... will be any problems after the upgrade?
Vista will work very well on this model?

    Thank you

    Hey Buddy,

the machine is vista ready, then it shouldn´t be a problem to install vista on it. With regard to the ultimate edition: I do not know how the performance will be because things like aero or some other 'system tools' slow the machine down really low. It might be better to stay in XP until they release the first servicepack for Vista (no matter what edition, global it s for all versions ;)).

So if you want to REALLY do, so I give you here a link (http://pc-support.toshiba-europe.com/vista/) where you can search for drivers for your machine, and you should do something like downloading all the drivers, burn them on CD or put on a USB key, back up all your data and then install vista after you have formatted the hard drive.

    Good luck buddy

    Welcome them

  • where can I get a driver printer star CL10 for windows 7

    Hi all.

Just changed to a new pc with win 7. But it seems there is no driver listed for my trusty star LC 10 matrix printer. Can anyone suggest a safe place to download one?
    Tom

It would be the only place to get one safely from the manufacturer's website.  If they do not have one, then it is not supported in windows 7.

  • I can't put my wallpaper with an image of Windows Live Photo gallery.

I am currently using Windows XP sp3, and whenbever I'm trying to set my wallpaper with an image of Windows Live Photo Gallery, the image will be there for a few minutes then goes to blue screen. I can not change to any other image from those available or set it to any other image from the photo gallery.  I tried to do a system restore and my old picrure Office will be there, but whenever I try to change to another is the same thing. Is there anyone that cn offers a solution to this problem?

I had the same problem and just think about it. The image must be saved in the folder "my pictures." Right-click of your screen and go down to "Properties" there, press the 'Desktop' tab and click on the 'Browse' button and select your image in the menu. After you have finished click the 'Settings' tab and click on the "Advanced" button, which will bring up a new window, under the section "compatibility, select the"restart the computer before applying the new display settings' option. " Apply then hit and your image should appear as background.

  • Can I put my HP Mini311-1000's of Windows 7 to Windows 8?

I have a Hp Mini311 running Windows 7 32 bit with a BIOS Version 2.6. The CPU is an N280

running @ 1.66 GHz. The installed memory is 3.00 GB and the product number is VL33DAV.

Can I update the BIOS and run Windows 8 on this machine?

    Thank you

    Alberto

Last bios update (e.16) for this model is dated December 2010, so it would not be for compatibility with the W8.

You should have no problem installing W8, you won't just 'Secure Boot'

  • How can I tell if another computer on my network has access to my files?

All of a sudden, there is what looks like a folder on my desktop, with different files into it that belonged to someone who had direct access to my laptop up until 2 days ago, but has since been locked out of it (all passwords are changed). It seems that he was able to access my laptop through our wireless home network, and I would like to be able to prove it's him. Can I do this? I have Vista on my laptop, and it has XP.

    Hello BarbiMcBride,

I suggest looking at the answer in this thread by SpiritX:
It explains the ways you can tell if someone accesses your computer remotely or not.
You can also disable file and printer sharing:
If you want to hide your computer from other computers on your network you can disable it by following these instructions:
