  Have you tried to set up a rule to search for AnyIPAddress? I just tested and without one I get the same problem as you, but if you set a search as follows rule, it works;

  Let us try these steps and see if that fixes the problem:

  (a) press Windows + R keys to open search Run

  (b) type regedit , and then click ok

  go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BFE

  c) on the right, click it, click permissions

  (d) click on ADD and type everyone and click ok

  (e) now click on all

  (f) below, you have permissions for users, select full control and click ok

  g keys) press Windows + R to open Run Search

  (h) type services.msc , and then click ok

  (i) double-click base filtering engine service.

  (j) Make sure that the service status is started and the startup type is automatic

  (k) the procedure for the windows firewall service

  (l) click on apply and Ok.

  I know that my question probably stems from my limited understanding of the underlying architecture of the LV, but it arises as I plan for the following in my lab scenario:

  (1) the system will include a 64-bit running Windows 64 - bit 7 (Professional) with 24 GB RAM PC.  One or more devices of cRIO will be attached to the need.

  (2) all LabView software will be written and run on the 64-bit computer (with the exception that operating on devices of cRIO).

  (3) at certain times within an automated test sequence, a digitizer set high speed will have to deliver about 10 GB of data in memory, analyze it and write the results to disk (hence the need for 64 - bit).

  (4) at this point, I can't say for certain which, if any, of the different modules and Toolkits available may be useful for us (that's why the desire to 32-bit compatibility).

  Naively, the points above suggest one of two approaches to the writing of my routines for control and measurement:

  b write everything in 32-bit BT, with a few calls specialized to one Subvi 64-bit if necessary.

  (b) any write in LV 64-bit, with calls to subVIs 32-bit if necessary for reasons of compatibility.

  So, are either (a) or (b) possible, and if so, are there reasons to prefer one approach rather than the other?  Pointers, or links to relevant reading, would be much appreciated.

  These types of error messages mean that the program is looking "inside" the file specified (in this case kernel32.dll) try to find a function/procedure to run called "GetFinalPathNameByHandleW" and find do not.

  The program calls the non-existent function badly or the library file is not in there.  Things do not match somewhere.

  A DLL is a library of dynamic links and files as kernel32.dll are sometimes just a bunch of procedures/functions/subroutines and all located in a single, portable file.

  In a primitive way, you can use a text editor to open the kernel32.dll file (make a copy if it your desire) and search for a string "GetFinalPathNameByHandleW" and you will not find.

  You can even search for "GetFinal", and you won't find it in the XP kernel32.dll file:

  

  But if you do the same thing on a Windows 7 + kernel32.dll you 'll find:

  

  If your program calls a function inside a DLL, but this feature does not exist in the Windows XP's kernel32.dll file.

  I think that GetFinalPathNameByHandleW was introduced in Windows Vista, so now here you would be fine.

  If who wrote your program is that it works on XP, they need to stick to the functions that are part of XP and GetFinalPathNameByHandleW isn't here, where the error.

  Uninstall and reinstall of Skype as suggested in "Question 2" would have been my first guess, but a bit of searching online suggests that it also assisted.  Again, try if you wish.  When you uninstall Skype, you will not lose your contacts.

  Research online, I've mentioned suggests that the problem is caused by software Kies from Samsung.  You have this installed on your system?  If so (or even if not), go to C:\Windows\system32 and rename avrt.dll.  You can call it avrt.dlX or something else you like.  Reset.  Let us know if that fixes the problem.  If it didn't, or he did something another break, you can always change the original name (this is why rename is safer than deletion).

  (a) click Start

  (b) type services.msc in the search box, and then press enter.

  (c) scroll down to Windows Audio and Windows Audio endpoint builder of Point

  (d) both should be started and set to automatic if one or both are arrested.

  (e) click the name to select it.

  (f) click on restart the service at the top left.

  (g) repeat for both if necessary. If some are not set to automatic, and then double-click the name and on the drop-down list to set the startup type to automatic and apply and ok your way out.

  Have you checked the obvious things? E.g.Ring/Silent switch on the left side is not on? Control the volume of ringtone under settings/sounds?

  If they are not serious then have you tried power the phone off and on again? Other sounds work fine, or if all sounds are dumb? for example can play you music through the speaker?
