No sound - "either Windows Audio and Windows Audio services end Point Builder is not running."

When I ran Microsoft Fix it for audio, it says that it is unable to solve the problem. The message was "two windows audio and Windows Audio end Point generator services must run for audio works correctly." At least one of these services is not running. "What should I do now?

Adapter of Jena and SPARQL web service end point
If I understand correctly, with the Jena java map interface, the client can connect to Oracle RDF data directly. Why is it always the web service SPARQL endpoint point? Demand for adapter request Jena on the client side has to go through SPARQL Web service first and then road to Oracle Server? Or query with SPARQL should go through webservice and not SPARQL query directly go to the Oracle Server?
Thank you.
Hello
You are right that a client can connect to Oracle RDF directly through the adapter of Jena. The reason to provide a SPARQL web service end point is to give the flexibility and additional interoperability. With the SPARQL web service endpoints, you didn't even need to write code to interact with the underlying database Java. It also facilitates the SPARQL Federation much.

Iolo System Mechanic deep cleaning has totally deleted my Windows Installer Service folder (and perhaps my RPC end point mapper file) on my Vista Home Premium PC. I looked into MSCONFIG and they are gone! It has been too long to do a system restore or other functions of the round trip. Q: if I buy the Windows 7 upgrade, it also installs? It will make Windows Installer service (and RPC end point Mapper) reappear? If not, how to get support from Microsoft? I already tried all 4 methods in article ID 2642495 re: find the Windows Installer service. I have now 10 MS Important that cannot install updates because missing the file of the Windows Installer service. Personal support of Iolo System Mechanic were NO help. Thanks in advance.

I can convert pdf to word format adobe acrobat, DC, but my version of word may not be correct because after conversion, fonts and lines are not correct in the original pdf document. I'm currently using version 6.1 of windows 7 service pack 1 build 7601 Home Premium. Is it possible that I might have to upgrade my windows 7 in order to get good conversions of PDF files in word files?
No, it won't be linked to your version of Windows. Probably, you wait too long. Conversion cannot be perfect except for the files very easy.

I have a new HP Envy with Windows 8 desktop computer that still does not run properly. I have rebooted, restored (im doing this), ran chkdsk, sfc/scannow, malware, virus, uninstall/install etc and my machine wil always do not run for a long time without going through some sort of problem after an hour or two. Can anyone suggest what to do about this? I read a lot of information online on all the windows 8 and fixes bugs, etc, but anything Microsoft/Windows, which ensures its customers, a hotfix or compesating their customers with software that still works. This isn't a hardware problem, and I can't keep day and bad shooting and trying to fix the day things in?
Sincerely,A client who is a loss for words. Here are some problems in no particular order.1.) apps to not install it, and/or Windows saying they are when they are in fact not. The fix to install / uninstall, or get on the site of windows directly in general does not, and or does not at all.The change permissions 2.) does not work on files that you should be able to access in changing oxnership, permissions, etc.3.) Google chrome won't let me access my account of microsoft (or fact rarely) trying to access assistance. But internet Explorer doesn't?Randomly will increase from Internet 4.) a previous connection wired to wireless to a reboot.5.) my 8 'key' windows was only shown to me after that I have let Windows scan my machine online? Why? I paid for this... I restarted it and it says: service not available (it worked the third attempt which was 1-3 minutes after the initial analysis). Windows only showed my product ID not the key. I know that my victory. 8 was OEM when preinstalled I bought it new, but why didn't we files on it that had nothing to do with activation, appearing on dates for three weeks, or so before I bought it. What is the 'activation of the factory'?6 :) Windows Essentials does not hang for a long time, and the troubleshooterprogram of update simply does not work (I had to go to the website to try tp operate, the bluetooth functionality is not good that there is an error.7.) windows scan and repair gets stuck at 27% (Im not the only one with this problem).8.), avery MS Office 2013 Disappears so often and not easy to reload "we have encountered a problem. The computer manufacturer is responsible to see that it works properly with Windows 8. Why is the audio service on my laptop does not not in safe mode
I'm putting my laptop normally but he wouldn't, so I try in safe mode, in which case it worked. I clicked on the audio icon and a message on the screen, said that the audio service is not running. I tried to open my music library, but it wouldn't play there. I'm even not any kind of sound from my laptop, it is just quiet. then again my computer collage and making a noise.
Hi R.Wharton,
1 are you face any problem while booting to the desktop?
2. what happens when you try to boot to the desktop?
3. do you get any error code or error message?
4 did you do any change on the computer before this problem?
Safe mode is an option of troubleshooting for Windows that starts your computer in a limited State. Only basic files and drivers needed to run Windows are started. I suggest putting the computer in a State of clean boot to safe mode and check what third party application/program is causing the problem.
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: once you have completed troubleshooting, try the procedure described in step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual.

Hope the information is useful.

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer. It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro. I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now. Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep. When he woke up normally, I found a 'Windows Activation Technologies' popup saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows". I tried the link "pay online now", but he ordered me to have to pay for a new facility. I do not want to do because my Windows has already been purchased and is valid for more than three years.
Then run Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool and it came true.

SSDT HPQOEM SLIC-CPCI ran full virus and malware scan with Avast Pro and Malwarebytes Pro and a complete diagnosis with Advanced System Care Pro tools that have always kept this system clean and stable. As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered. It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem. The only other change was an update of Windows. Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it. I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.
I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years. I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself. When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition. This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face. The transaction took place three years ago!
Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company. This error is likely to destroy me financially. I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.

After installation of Windows 7 Service Pack 1, it is not possible to pass the graphics more
Hello
I am running Windows 7, 64-Bit SP1 on a Lenovo T500 with switchable graphics.
I downloaded and installed the Service Pack 1 manually (working on the Intel card) since it does not appear on Windows Update (now I now that it was because of outdated drivers Intel) - the installation went well. Later I tried to go to my Ati card but nothing happened and I realized that the Intel driver was apparently updatesd by SP1 (had a new design of the Intel tool). After playing around I got my Ati card active now but I can't switch back to the Intel card.
I uninstalled all the drivers graphics and deleted all graphics devices from the Device Manager and then installed the latest driver from Lenovo and also tried with the latest driver from Ati/AMD directly (11.2), but nothing has fixed my problem.
I can right click on my PowerManager battery and select the other card on "Switchable graphics", but nothing happens - no message error but also without change.
Every help is very appreciated.
See you soon

I just wanted you to know that the problem has been resolved after the Power Manager Update to 3.45 (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-70601&medium=rs...)

Reporting and analysis 9.3.1 migration utility is not running
Hi all.
I have installed and configured the services on windows server 2008 32-bit 9.3.1(Shared de Hyperion, Interactive reporting, SQR Production Reporting et espace de travail). After configuration, service shared, workspace, interactive studio and studio reporting SQR reporting work properly but when I installed the Migration of Reporting and analysis utility, it shows "Application is running - please wait"...
I want to know it's utility reporting migration and analysis (9.3.1) is compatible with windows server 2008 32-bit? or is it possible to run this utility on windows server 2008 32-bit?
Please get back to me back as soon as possible... I am really in big trouble...
Concerning
RahulTake a look at the site of matrices of platforms supported (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/hyperion-supported-platforms-085957.html) for 9.3.1
I checked the pdf document, and it does not say much about the migration utility. It's here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10530_01/doc/epm.931/hsys9_install_start_here.pdf
I'm really surprised that all other components work, given that windows server 2008 (probably because it comes from a previous version) is not in the list of supported OS.
See you soon,.

Windows - XP Service Pack 1 has server not reachable
Try to rebuild the PC of a disk of XP with Service Pack 1 only systems
Instructions involve Service Pack 1a is required
I have download the stub successfully, but when I try to run it, he tries to contact a USA based microsoft Server and fails.
As a result, I can't add any other service packs until 1a is applied.
The server is down or is there a problem with the heel?
If your installation to service pack 1, you don't need service pack 1a. The difference between sp1 and sp1a was the removal of the last of the "Microsoft Java Virtual Machine", Microsoft had to do as part of a legal settlement with Sun. It makes no difference what the installation of sp2/sp3.
Turn on the Windows Firewall and make sure you have an active up-to-date anti-virus application.
If you have XP sp1, you can go directly to sp3 (you need not sp1a or sp2). However, see the tips of long date MS MVP PA Bear (which assumes that your "XP systems disk" does NOT test any software particularly any trial Norton or McAfee software):
HOW to get WinXP SP1 or SP2 fully patched after a "clean install":
http://groups.Google.com/group/Microsoft.public.WindowsXP.General/MSG/a066ae41add7dd2b
1. download & save the installer for WinXP SP3 on your desktop:
http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=5b33b5a8-5E7...[Yes, you can jump SP2 if you run WinXP SP1.]
2. read & take into account:
http://msmvps.com/blogs/harrywaldron/archive/2008/05/08/Windows-XP-SP...3 connected as long as administrator, if necessary, double-click the saved file to install WinXP SP3. Follow the prompts. Be patient and restart twice when the installation ends.
4. make the resolution method 2 here (believe me):
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/9431445. go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com . Install all required software, and then click CONTINUE. Select CUSTOM and scan | Install the critical updates of security offered. Still, follow all the instructions.
[I do NOT recommend install IE7 through Windows Update.]
6. make sure that automatic updates is enabled; FC.
