Can win 7 read win 2003 files on a flash drive?

I can't read the files saved on a flash drive of old computer XP Pro 2003 on the new computer with Win 7 64 bit on word starting word or pdf. Is this possible? I have to purchase microsoft office standard 2007 or 2010 to access these files on my USB key, or is there a download I can use?

  • Deleting files from the Flash drive

I have a Sandisk Cruzer Edge 16 GB Flash Drive.  I use it with two computers, an iMac and a Macbook Air, both using OS X 10.8.2.  Recently, I loaded about 10 GB of files on it.  I have now deleted these files.  However, Finder always shows the Flash drive as carrying 10.8 GB of files and having only 5,2 GB of available.  When I try to record a 10 GB file on the Flash drive, I get a message saying that there is not enough available space.

How can I delete uploaded files from the Flash drive so that I can reuse the whole 16 GB?

I recently did a factory reset on my computer and saved all my files on a flash drive when I load them onto my computer, they look all as internet files explore instead of dreamweaver files, please, help?

They probably had the IE icon because Windows automatically associate with IE html files.

It is of no consequence for your work in Dreamweaver, but you can change this association if you wish.

Go to control panel > default of programs > set Associations.

  • Need assistance, transfer of files to a flash drive for backup.

I need to delete my aol files to a flash drive for storage. I tried to find the path on my pc but cannot locate. I need to know if it is possible? Also, I need to know if I'll be able to open the mails from the flash drive after I download, it is possible to download the flash player.

You will not be able to move your emails of aol.com to your USB key (they are on a website, not your computer) If you are using AOL desktop, you may, but you will probably not be able to open them. In any case, it is a site of firefox support, not AOL, I would contact them.

  • How can I download a summary of worksource to a flash drive

How can I download information to a flash drive

You can use copy and paste or you can use Save as.

    To copy and paste

    1) highlight the text you want to copy

    (2) click the highlighted text, and then click on copy

    (3) click on which you want to paste the text (a word processor - perhaps Wordpad)

    (4) make a right click and click on paste.

Once in the word processor then you can use Save as to save it to the flash drive.  It will have its own drive letter.

    Good luck.

  • How can I download mp3 to blogsites and transfer files to the flash drive. ?

    Hello

I visit various blogsites where music albums are available for download in mp3 format.

When I download an album where he's going. ??

Most of the files must also be extracted using WIN. RAR in mp3 format. (I do now with my windows pc)

How this can be completed in waves apple ipad 2.

Do I need to add specific applications to complete the download and extraction.

I suppose that if I get this day won't be a problem transfer a file to a connected flash drive.

Hope someone can help me because I am considering buying an imac as my windows pc is not future pick-up.

    Best regards

Nowhere else. Safari will download the mp3 on itself for reading, but it will store not anywhere for later use.

on an iPad, you need to get an App that can handle RAR archives.  iZip did this:

It will be a problem from an iPad. iPads may write directly to the USB flash drives.

What that has to do with an iPad?    iMacs are very different from iPads.   Everything you can do on a Windows computer, you can do on an iMac, a bit like you do on Windows. This is not the case with an iPad.

  • Why can I not see my files or files on my flash drive?

I bought a 64 GB USB flash drive to make a copy of some files (mainly of the wavs and mp3s into folders and subfolders several).  I drag some of them in the flash player and wait until the bar fills and the 'task' was over.  At this point, I can see the files.  I'll work and return with files over again to copy and when I open the flash drive in the viewfinder, I see nothing.  I try to copy the previous files (because they seem to not be there) and it is said that they ARE there.  Why is this and how do I solve this problem so I can see what was copied and what does not?

I also get these weird errors if I try out something.  It's never happened before.  I'm quite confused.
