  Half of the time I use the color picker in Photoshop suddenly IE is opened using Photoshop in a separate window. I'm clicking on something? What I seem to be clicking on the box of color ranges is in the color picker. It's just very annoying. Was wondering if anyone had this problem? I thought that using Photoshop was supposed to open if you click on the Photoshop eye on the toolbar, which is not in CS4.

  It has been seen from time to time.  This may indicate corruption in the memory space of Photoshop.  If I were you, I would immediately save my work and close Photoshop if you do this.

  Some things to try to prevent it from happening:

  • Update your video driver on the web site of the manufacturer of your video card.
  • Set up the OpenGL drawing to turn off advanced drawing and vertical sync.
  • Examine your 3rd party plug-ins, delete the ones you don't need and seek versions updates to those that you use.

  If I restart my browser everthing works very well for at least 5 minutes. When I watch several videos to youtube, the LAG comes back and the video begins to freeze aboud every second for just a fraction of a second. The sound is stil played properly it only affects the graphics...
  After about 10 minutes watching videos, the whole browser gets lag. Sometimes when I type fonts appear only about a second later. Scrolling is also affected. A few minutes later everything is back to normal, but it' not always t like that?

  I don't know what to do, I already rebooted with disabled modules, but I did not notice any difference. My ati graphics card drivers are up to date and I have the problem with firefox, chrome works perfectly.

  The offset is now gone. Removal and reinstallation of the plugins and the deactivation of my modules to speed dial (which is sad cause I like them) fixed. I think that's their function to auto-update the previews leading the video shift.

  So my question: this Tablet PC seems to sometimes just stop responding while using IE and trying to enter text or something else. When that happens, I can't even start with a Ctrl-Alt-Del Task Manager. It seems to ignore this and cannot do anything. I can't click on start or anything like that. So, I just finally quit and force a reboot in now the switch for a few seconds.

I also have a program called SyncBack SE that synchronizes the my Docs about this Tablet PC with those on my Dell 9150 desktop PC. All this is at home, and my tablet is never off the hook or taken anywhere. I probably just another desktop PC, since this is how it is used. I have always just sitting it here on its charging base with an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, Iomega CD/DVD-RW and MAXTOR backup hard drive hooked up to it. And it is connected to my range of colour laser printers and also my all-in-one scanner/printer/fax/copier running Paperport for scanning.

It's been a week now.  Services are all started and set to automatic.  The SFC/scannow found a couple of problems and repair the.  I'm stuck at just patches and more, the only updates since I installed SP2 manually.  Clean boots did not help.  Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall..., or not, does not make a difference.  This on a Toshiba laptop, and I did a complete re-install, including erasing the hard drive.  No malicious software is on this - I checked.
