Install the Borland C++ compiler

I try to install Borland C++, well, I downloaded it from the Web site, and he copied a load of files etc on my C drive basis (not in the folder programs) but nothing seems to happen. I tried to run a sample, but he found nothing. There is a readme file that says

1. run freecommandlinetools.exe; Choose it
drive and the folder where you want to
install the command line C ++ Builder 5 free
system development tools.

2. in the bin of your installation directory:
a. Add 'c:\Borland\Bcc55 '.
the existing path
b. create a bcc32.cfg file which will define
the compiler options to include
and the Lib paths (-I and L - passes to the)
compiler) by adding these lines:
-J' I "c:\Borland\Bcc55\include".
-L "c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib".
c. create an ilink32.cfg file that will define
the option to the linker for the Lib path by
Add this line:
-L "c:\Borland\Bcc55\lib".

But what does it mean?

I should mention that I am a former mainframe programmer so PC stuff is a bit of a mystery to me, but I can usually manage my way... but not this time.

  • How to compile and install the kernel modules after nation and nipalk for installation of Gentoo 64 bit?

We are trying to install a PCIe 6251 DAQ card in a box of Gentoo 64 bit running Linux kernel 2.6.28 - gentoo-r5 4.3.2 - gcc and glibc - 2.8.  We have installed RPM utilities to manage the installation.  The current problem is that we are not able to compile and install the kernel modules: nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk.  Here's a summary of what we have done so far, and to what extent we got.

First of all, we have changed the configuration of the kernel that we could export the init_mm unused symbol by changing the configuration option of the CONFIG_UNUSED_SYMBOLS = o kernel and recompile the kernel.  Then we installed LabView 8.6.1.  Then we ran the nation 1.9 installer who has installed the source code in vain on the compilation.  To resolve this problem, we have changed the function of pte_offset to pte_offset_kernel by editing the file/usr/local/natinst/nation/configures following the instructions here:

    http://decibel.NI.com/content/docs/doc-4511

We were then able to compile and install the kernel nation module thanks to:

    . / configure
    do
    make install

lsmod said that nation has been properly installed.  Then we ran the installer for DAQmx 8.0.1 by:

    . / INSTALL - nodeps

To do this, we have received errors indicating that LabView support could not be installed because check addictive (incorrectly we think) stated that labviewbase86 has not been installed; This caused the installer to have an abortion.  Therefore, we refused to install support for LabView 8.6 and revived the installation program which produces the output:

    After Installation...

At this point, after reading this report, we used the Gentoo rc update utility to add several scripts for the boot runlevel initialisation:

update of RC - a boot nipple
update of RC - a bunch of nipxirmu
update of RC - a bunch of mxssvr
update of RC - a bunch of nisvcloc
update of RC - a bunch of nidevldu

When the computer reboots, you get an error message indicating that the following kernel modules are not: nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk.  lsmod shows that the nation and nipalk are installed, but no other kernel modules NOR are present.  modprobe-l shows that only nation and nipalk are available.

    So we have several questions:

    1. we install drivers in the correct order?  Should use us NI-VISA 4.5 or NOR-488. 2 rather than DAQmx 8.0.1?

    2. What kernel modules should be loaded for this equipment run?  How to compile and install the ones that we have yet, specifically nidmxfk, nimsdrk, nimstsk and nipxirmk?  Are there others?

    3. How can we get the installer to properly recognize that we have installed LabView Core and install support for LabView?  Are there additional kernel modules related to the support of LabView?

    4. What is the symbolic link that was not created in the DAQmx installation report? (ln: create the symbolic link ' / usr/local/include/NIDAQmx.h': no such file or directory)?

I apologize for so many questions, but these seem to be the last obstacles to obtaining OR runs correctly on this system.  Is there other information that we can provide that would be useful?  Thanks for any help or suggestions you can offer.

    Craig

    Hey Craig,.

Given that you use 64-bit Linux all kernel modules must be compiled for 64 - bit.  User mode binaries can be 32-bit, assuming that you have installed the 32-bit support libraries.

NOR-DAQmx is a complex architecture and requires several kernel modules to support your PCIe card.  Most of these kernel modules have not been brought to support 64-bit Linux.  Some kernel modules are components infrustructure that are shared with other pilots OR as NI-VISA and NOR-488. 2 and have been brought to support 64-bit Linux.  Unfortunately, you need all the modules to use your hardware.

I hope that answers your question.

  • Portege M400: Installtion Windows - cannot install the RAID driver

    Hello world
I installed my original form of the system DVD Toshiba (60 GB partition).
So, I bought the second system with my notebook (Windows XP Pro OEM PL) and I want to install it on my second partition. When installing WinXP installer asked me about RAID driver on drive A: (I USB floppy drive, so it's no problem)... next step - partitioning - no problem. But when Windows starts to copy files (after select and format partition), ask again on RAID driver disk A: - and that is the problem, because my floppy drive is not present (maybe disable it windows after formatting the partition, I don't know)...
    There is also no results:
-J' tried to install Windows on USB HDD, but there are blue screen after the first reboot,.
-J' have tried to compile the RAID driver in driver.cab, this does not (or I did wrong).
Someone has an idea how to install my second system? It is OEM, and I don't want to lose him.
.. Sorry for my poor English :)...

    Hello

After installing the driver RAID you should not make any partition or format the HARD drive.
If you do this, the RAID driver is deleted and you will get an error.

So do all the changes on the HARD disk before you install the RAID driver.

  • Choose the worker of compilation

I installed a worker to compile on a linux PC remotely as described here.

Worker compiling on the remote PC can connect to the compile on PC (widows running) local development server.

Now, when I make a compilation of the local compilation worker is selected by default.

How can I select the one remote?

    My setup is as follows

Development PC: Windows 7, LabVIEW 2010, Xilinx 11.3

Remote PC: Linux (Ubuntu10.10, I know it is not supported by OR), 2012 LabVIEW compiles worker, Xilinx 13.4

Is there a compatibility issue between LabVIEW 2010 and 2012 of LabVIEW? Or between the Xilinx software?

    Thank you

LabVIEW 2010 provides only compile for use with Xilinx 10 and 11 toolchains. Therefore, when you make a compilation, the compile server will search for these tools. Since you have only the xilinx tools installed 13.4 remotely, LabVIEW 2010 will not choose this ability to perform compilations.

You must update your LabVIEW 2012 host PC to take advantage of its remote workers compiles with the features of LabVIEW 2012.

  • Install the engine 6.1 enforcement (or compatible) labview with the labview 2011

I installed a Labveiw 2011 trial version in order to check for potential problems to upgrade, I get if I decide to spend labveiw 6.1. Well, needless to say, there has been a lot. This is as expected because I have not updated labview for many years. I'm still not under any pressure to update; However, I want to in order to get help and make sure that I have no problem of compatibility with new equipment purchases. I was able to solve most of my problems of compatibility with code simple and other corrections. However, twice now I ran into an error at the launch of labview executeables compiled by two different manufacturers. The equipment I use is not yet old... maybe a year or two. When I run labview executables for the device on a PC that has the trial period 2011 installed labview under control, I get an error message saying something like "this requires a motor enforcement 6.1 (or compatible) of Labview. I tried to download and install the labivew engine 6.1 but I can't install this engine on a PC that has labview installed 2011. Can someone explain how I run these executables under labview 2011. I can't imagine that these executables were developed using 6.1 as this equipment is not yet a year old now.

You should be able to have a number any time installed and 2011. I have several versions back to 7.0. I asked what exactly happens when you try to install it.

Have you tried 2011 withdrawal, execution 6.1 installation and then installation of 2011?

2 do you have Delphi products installed on the computer?

    3. you are unable to read PDF files on the computer?

    4. what happens when you try to shut down the computer?

Rtl70.bpl error is associated with the Borland Delphi 7 TIME library file.

  • Not able to re - install the operating system

    Hello

It's on HP Pavilion DV6 laptop.

The laptop has been infected with virus & I had to re - install windows 7.

I used the recovery disc bought from HP which had 2 drives.

During installation, the first disc has been successfully read & when you are prompted for the 2nd, 2nd disc has been inserted. Once this system has continued to recognize the drive. So I had to restart the installation process. But the system does not recognize the discs. Used XP bootable drive also, but it does not work.

PL let me know what needs to be done here.

    Concerning

    Vineet

    Hi, Vineet:

You will need to go through several steps in order to get a XP disc to work on your relatively modern PC.

Sometimes the recovery disks do not work and there is nothing you can do about it. Who knows why?

Here is a workaround that you can use if you can read your 25-character windows product key 7.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • How to install the 16-bit game in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I wanted to install my game of childhood as VirtuaFighter 2, Virtua Cop 2, Daytona USA Deluxe. All in a single disc named Sega CD 3

But it can only support with 16-bit windows version.my version windows is now home premium 64-bit.
    I tried the windows virtual PC, but it can not install too... >< i="" wanted="" to="" play="" this="" game="" so="">
No idea how to solve this problem?

«I tried the windows virtual PC, but it can not install too...» »

The XP Mode , which is available with Win7 Pro is more for business software and is not suitable

for the games because there is no d3d.

The problem is perhaps more to do with the game using a 16-bit installation program that is not compatible

with 64-bit Windows, as the game itself. Many of these games will be run on 64-bit Windows

    installed.

If you can install the game on another computer that uses 32-bit Windows, it may work

After copying on your 64-bit Windows.

Do not copy the default game Program Files (x 86). Use another Partition, HARD drive or create

a new folder in C:\ install games there (to avoid the problems of "permissions").

-Some games also have fans sites, where you can download installers who are suitable for 64-bit

    Windows.

-If the game is quite old to run in the BACK and then BOX BACK is the best option.

Hi, I faced the same problem, and now I have corrected this issue.

He was vmnet.ko, at least for me.

    Here's how to solve,

You can find the latest vmnet.ko of /lib/modules/~previous_kernel_version~/misc/vmnet.ko

Copy vmnet.ko into your current/lib/modules/your_current_version/misc folder.

And then run vmware, if you fail at the first, please run again.

If so, you can run vmwre!

I hope this will help you.

    Good day.

  • How to install the software on host ESXi 4?

I would like to analyze using Nagios my ESXi 4 server through the remote console shell, but there are a few hiccups with the Linux environment in that esxi is available:

    • There is no installed gcc
    • No like yum or apt - get package manager
    • Can't find that associated with this version of RHEL RPMs

So I am puzzled because I find inappropriate for this version of RHEL RPM, and when I want to compile I can't because there is no gcc. Clues? It's with Nagios using ERS, but if I have to use SNMP I will go this route.

Linux build: (Linux version 2.6.18 - 128.ESX ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.1.2) #1 Fri Oct 15 16:11:16 PDT 2009 [generation of Console of Service ESX 201756)

Welcome to the community - first ESXi is not Linux - the VMkernel is developed by VMware - it is not recommended to install the software on your ESXi host unless it is specifically design for ESXi - so unless Nagios has developed an agent for ESXi you won't be able to install it.

  • How can I install the vm-tools for the 'lenny '.

    Sorry for my English...

I had the problem when I install vm-tools for 'lenny', I can't compiled all the modules, errors about gcc (my version of gcc 4.3, it seems needs 4.1).

I try to install gcc 4.1, then failure...

I try to install the machine virtual tools for vmware server 2 for my 'lenny', then I got the same problems.

    VMware-workstation: 6.5.1 (vm-tools 7.x vm - workstation6.5.1, vm-tools 2.0 122956 vm-Server 2)

host of os: vista 64 (u)

    guest operating system: debian lenny

    Thanks for any information

    Sofar,

After 12 1 / 2 + hours yesterday, I finally found a solution to install VMWare Tools on Linux myself, and finally got everything working under Ubuntu 8.10 guest OS. Maybe / I hope that this tutorial below will help you.

For more detailed instructions (step by step) how to get VMWare on Ubuntu 8.10 Guest OS tools, you can consult the following links:

I created a small tutorial here:

    http://communities.VMware.com/message/1129103#1129103

A post of Mufasa in this link helped as well:

    http://communities.VMware.com/message/887802#887802

This link was very helpful as well:

    http://laurentbois.com/2008/04/26/install-Ubuntu-804-using-VMware-Fusion-on-Mac-OS-x/

The single link that has helped him further was found here on the Ubuntu forums:

    http://UbuntuForums.org/showthread.php?t=987631

Keep in mind that if you run an x 86 (32-bit) version of Ubuntu 8.10, then the files that you need to download and use are different than the instructions on the Ubuntu forums. So look over the instructions on the Ubuntu forums (if you use a 64 bit version of the guest operating system Ubuntu 8.10), but if you install VMWare Tools on a 32-bit version of the guest operating system Ubuntu and then followed the first link at the top of this post or the link here below:

    http://communities.VMware.com/message/1129103#1129103

This should be enough to help you (step by step) get the VMWare Tools installed and running on the operating system Ubuntu 8.10 guest (32-bit or 64-bit).

    Mark

P.S. to the extent where, I hope that you find that the links provided above helps as a solution. Please post back with your results and please allow the "right answer" points to the right solution accordingly. Thank you! (I hope that I could actually get my FIRST 'right answer' all points of a poster, yippie!) Or at least partial marks for a response "useful". Ignore anything. If the links above and the tutorial I created above help resolve your issue/problem, then close the question as answered and assign points. Even the 'useful' and 'good answer' points are good. Thank you!

  • Install the additional content does not

    Hello!

Again and again, I tried to install the additional content in logic, but his does not work.

I tried to install 2-3 in time, I tried to install everything at once.

    Nothing works.

I restarted my computer, no difference.

I looked up to find (for example) Mellotron in logic.
    Sound still not available.

    What I am doing wrong?

When you press "Select the uninstalled all button" nothing will not be selected?

You show that you have installed content.

You can find it in the higher level of the library folder.

See below - this which should solve it for you.
