Can you set up a unique password to start keychain
Can you set up a unique password to specifically turn on Keychain only when necessary, separate from the password of the computer, so that the keychain is still safer?
Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access / Edit provides a change password option.

Usually, the lots are automated or initiated by another tool (for example, control-m).
You should raise questions about the encryption of data in a separate thread. I can't answer.

Can you set a restore point from the system on a disk?
Can you put a "System Restore" point on a disc? a disc re writable DVD, for example.
To make it clearer:
I want to do a restore point for my "C:" drive, but I want it on an external drive as a drive re writable DVD that can be put in the drive "D:" or, Alternatively, a flash drive.
Is this possible?
Any help is appreciated thanks :)
A restore of the system (System Volume Information) file must be on the disk/partition that it protects. Each drive/partition will have its own System Volume Information folder for the recovery of the partition/drive specific. It's the way is designed the o/s, so not impossible to return c to another drive.
Sorry, but that's the way it works and cannot be changed.
Good luck!

I want to stop and prevent my Firefox browser to save passwords of Web site, I understand can be done using the Security window.
Unfortunately, once you open, the Security window does not display for me password options checkboxes even if that's what the support site says that the browser should do. Can't get the Security window to extend to view other options, which leads to me think that there are no other options.
Any ideas what I can do about this problem? I'm on Mac OS 10.8.5 and Firefox 30.0. Thanks for the tips!
In order to exclude extensions as a possible culprit in the dysfunction of the dialog, could you try to open Firefox Safe mode? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- 3-bar menu button > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- (menu bar) Help > restart with disabled modules
Firefox has to close, then displays a small dialog box: click on 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)
Any difference?

How can you Set up Dialer?
Can someone direct me to a walkthrough how to use phone dialer on Windows 7? It's my first time on this audition and it seems pretty interesting.
Hello eddie.exe,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
There is not much information about the internal dialer.exe included with Microsoft operating systems.
Dialer.exe allows you to dial a call voice coming out via their computer, if the modem supports voice and data. The user has entered a number to dial, or selects a number from the speed-dialer list and then selects on a handset when the call is answered. It offers support for ActiveVoice and the Conference through TAPI.
Click on article below which is for Windows Vist, but for Windows Vista.
KB Article ID: 958143 -when you use Dialer.exe to make voice calls, you can hear the recipient, but they don't hear you.
You can use the help and Support provided with the operating system.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

Can you set permissions for a help system?
Hello - I creates a helpsystem and I was wondering if with RoboHelp 8, I can limit who sees what book/topic?
We need this because some customers who will view this help system will not be able to see certain parts of the application. They have certain rights to each application.
My fear is that I'll have to create separate helpsystem projects for each of the different parts...
If anyone has ANY ideas - thank you would be great! Thank you!
