  You do not put diesel in a petrol car, and you can't install Windows on a Mac programs... unless you want to install http://www.parallels.com/ "emulator" on your Mac to run Windows programs

  At least that the documentation provided with your Windows disk explicitly says that you have a serial number that works also for a Mac version, download the Mac to install it won't hurt, because your serial number does not work

  And there is the problem of the old software on a new Mac... read below... which, as I said above, won't help you with a serial number of Windows

  I went and found my purchase in the profile of my account history, and got the serial number for which i thought was the previous product. This being creative Suite Std.

  I entered the serial number, and it tells me incorrect sound.

  UPDATE: I found my Photoshop CS5 disk and installed from there. I now have problems when I go to the 'Help' dropdown, select "Updates".

• Reinstallation of photoshop cs5 on the new MacBook pro OS 10.10.1

  Hello

  I've recently updated my computer to a new MacBook Pro OS x photo editing 10.10.1. Reinstalled photoshop CS5 and code submitted product. Photoshop will open and run, but some commands, specifically print orders or changes to the print settings causes the program to quit. I have looked on several forums and advice re: reloading photoshop among others, but could not get anything to change.

  Question 1: is there anything in the that updates to CS5 to make it compatible with the latest OS X update?

  Question 2: Why is there not an option on adobes site to submit a question to technical support? All other software manufacturers that I care gives you the opportunity to submit questions to their support staff.

  Any help would be appreciated in get my software to work correctly again.

  Tried to send a reply over redirect, but couldn't find a way to do it. I had some suggestions to try, but in the meantime has noticed that there are updates of OS X and cs5 who had not been there earlier. Once I made the updates, it solved the problem I had.   I have a user having difficulty opening files of the orf. When the problem was first brought to my attention, that we could not open the nef files either. I installed the Adobe Camera Raw plugin and then the nef files can be opened but not the orf files.
  Anyone know why this would be and what can be done to solve the problem?

  Maybe it's that the camera is not supported by the 6.7 camera raw for photoshop cs5 plugin.

  (camera raw 6.7 is the new supported by photoshop cs5 camera raw plugin)

  If the cameras are not supported by 6.7, then you can use the 8.7 dng converter to convert dng files best, which photoshop cs5 should then be able to open.

• Photoshop CS5 with the colors of incorrectly on my CintiqUX21

  As far as I know that it's really just Photoshop, when viewing images or documents on the Cintiq they display the same colors as on my primary monitor.

  But when I draw something in Photoshop, the colors are more saturated. It is noticeable especcially when I remove the workspace and drag it on my primary monitor.

  Tests with a rainbow gradient I see that, compared to my main monitor violet becomes darker and blue, becomes stronger; almost turning a solid bar rather than a gradient. Green also gets a little lighter.
