Not Enterprise Manager 11 g Grid Control Release 1 (11.1.0.1.0) is equal to Oracle Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware control? You must run the installation program of the Dev Runtime App on top of an installation of WLS. According to the blog, it seems that you also need the creation of repository (RCU), utility that creates a database schema. 10g to Oracle Enterprise Manager Application Server Control does not work
Hello
We have installed the application on 9.21.0.98 Server (solaris machine).
For the server is woking, but the report server does not.
Now I want to connect to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10 g Application Server Control
to solve the problem
In my PC (windows), I opened internet explorere (IE), and I entered the following URL
http://9.21.0.98:7778 / (7778 is probably http port)
Now I see a web page.
Here I see the following on the right side of the page
Oracle Application Server Logins
To manage and monitor Oracle Application Server,
Log on to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Application Server Control:
username: ias_admin
password: specified during installation
When I click on this link http://9.21.0.98:1156 / URL has appeared on the IE and I get the following error
Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage
Now to see if any application is running on this port (1156), I logged the solaris machine where the application server is intalled and I exected netstat - a | grep 1156 command. But he didn't show me anything
Could you please solve my problem?
ConcerningIs it possible to change the name of report server?

Add the second instance in Enterprise Manager 10g database control
Hello
I have a server with an Oracle 10 g database instance and I
set up local control of Enterprise Manager database for it.
Now, I added a second instance on the server, using the same Oracle
Homepage. Can I manage this new instance by using the existing database
control or I have to configure a control second database help
another port? The documentation is not too clear on that.
Thank you
MatthiasYou must configure another service of control of database for this on the other port.
Better to use control grid to manage multiple instances.

Cannot access connections wireless on HP Pavilion dv5

I can't access wireless connections, even if the other devices have access to connections. Wireless adapters work, but I can't seem to 'see' all wireless connections. /
This has just occurred recently-never a problem in the past.
Any recommendations?
I recommend you update your BIOS. Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html , and then type the name of your product in the search box. Choose the Dv5 Entertainment Notebook that you have and select. On the next page select your operating system Windows 7 Home 32 or 64-bit. Once on the correct driver for your laptop page choose BIOS in the list of drivers. Please update your BIOS and reboot. This should bring your WIFI connection. Please let me know if that solves this problem.

Access Oracle Enterprise Manager
Hello Experts!
Good morning/afternoon/evening!
Database - 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64 bit Production version
My role is application support personnel. However I need monitoring level access to the database. I don't mean to perform admin tasks. Can you please tell what is the level of access to the OEM must I ask? Mainly I would need access to the performance tab.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards
No,
It simply means that someone in your organization is able to consult the Oracle documentation online and give you the OEM_MONITOR predefined role.
However, most people here prefer rather a forum for volunteers to answer their questions doc.

'I want to continue' creation of Enterprise Manager / database of control?
Greetings. DBA SQL Server, no real experience of Oracle for a long time. So here's the deal:
I'm trying to start learning a few Oracle on a DEV server to my work. Plan is to go through the tutorial "2 day DBA" as it is usually the recommendation for guys like me. I was able to start Enterpirse Manager for one of our DEV database, but not the one I wanted. So I followed the steps in this link and I'm about to create EM / DB control as long as the link explain. My question is will by doing this, especially if sharing the same House as the existing control of DB path / EM, damage or remove the existing control of DB / EM? Can I have only one at a time? I need to create a new home for each DB path? OK to have several DB control / EM in the same way home?
Thank you!
EM is not necessary to start or use any Oracle DB.
EM can only be configured against a DB (both)
If you want to manage multiple databases, you must buy & install Grid Control.

Add "PIR administrator" role for this user and it should work then (ask the user to disconnect and reconnect)-"Integrated SOA gateway" responsibility does not appear "SOA Monitor" for the user. [1268115.1 ID]

How to connect to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10 g Database Control have SYSDBA?
Hello
I installed Oracle 10.2.0 (Enterprise Edition) on my laptop at home. And with SQL * Plus, I login as sys and created a user Charles (with the password pwd), and I granted the DBA role to this user. SQL * more messages saying that the user has been created and the role (the DBA role has been granted). When I log on to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Database Control as a user Charles (with the password pwd that I gave to the creation of the user) as usual (in the 'Connect as' drop-down), I check that the Charles user has DBA profile. My problem is that when I try to connect to Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g Database Control as a user Charles (with the pwd password that I gave to the creation of the user) and as SYSBA+, one error message is displayed: your user name and/or password is not valid.

region of a target is not supported. Use the mgmt_target.set_agent_tzrgn () to change API

new = tzrgn - 04:00) (old tzrgn = UTC)There is a difference of time zones
Now you need to check Oracle Metalink Document: impossible to start agent fails with the error "ORA-20603": Doc ID: 788944.1

Administration Enterprise manager 11g
Hello. I installed Enterprise manager 11g. I created a new database. is it possible to access from Enterprise manager to the new database? When I opened MS, always appear an orcl instants. How can I change this instants?
Best regards.
CuqueOnce AGAIN (and again)
There is control of the database and the grid control.
Control of the database handles one (* 1 *) database only!
You have the control of the database.
You cannot use the control of the database, or you must use different port numbers, then you will end up with two (* 2 *) different database controls, each a Manager (* 1 *) database.
How to do this is documented. Please indicate your question as answered. More aid is simply impossible.
If you do not believe this READ the documentation and stop being STUBBORN.------------------

It is perhaps the most foolish questions in the history of these forums, but I myself have encountered a small problem. I was playing with the elements "pinned" to my task bar and the HP Advisor dock and realized I can put my OWN Articles on the dark
