Cannot access internet after Win XP suspend molten v4

With the help of Fusion v4.1.1 on OS X v10.7.2 with Win Xp Pro SP3 guest.

When the customer is suspended and then re-enabled, internet connection still shows as connected, but can no longer access the internet. I have to restart Win XP and then it can access the internet again very well.

Thank you

There are several command-line utilities, VB Script methods, etc. of PowerShell. It is more of a general scenario of Windows and you should be able to Google it and find enough information to build your own script.  If I had some time right now I throw something together, but I have to last-minute holiday shopping to do and only have a bit of free time after Jan 1.

I used DevCon in the past to create a simple. CMD Script to do this.

Take a look at: functions of the utility DevCon tea as an alternative to Device Manager

Last week, I installed the latest update of Windows 8, however once installed, I was no longer able to access the internet and became a message saying that the page cannot be displayed. • Cannot access Internet after SP3

I have reviewed many articles and comments related questions related to XP SP3, but I hope someone can shortened my troubleshooting a bit.

I'm running an old eMachine (T6520 in) with an AMD Athlon 64 processor.  The OS is XP version 2002 with Service Pack 3 GUY.  I had a few problems with this computer associated with certain system programs does not, the most obvious being the restoration of the system.  I recently posted on this site for more help with the missing files are restored, but have not yet had the chance to solve this issue.  I don't like so much about this, so I can access the internet, which will be the main use of this computer.

Everything worked ok, until I installed SP3, after which I was unable to access the internet.  I tried to uninstall SP3, but keep a mistake related to a missing file.  I was about to do a full restore of the system from CD, but then I restarted in mode safe mode "with networking" and was able to access the internet.  This makes me think there is some kind of security setting preventing me access to internet.  I disabled temporarily my Windows Firewall to see if it helped, but not luck.

I'm under IE7 (also struggled to access the internet when I installed IE8).  I have a Netgear USB wireless adapter.  Let me know if there is anything you need.

Thanks in advance for the help.

" Original title: blocked internet access"

    Hi Eugene,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

    1. What is the type of internet connection you use - wired or wireless?
    2. Do you get any error message when there is no internet access?
    3. What is the number of KB of the update, after which the internet disconnects?

[To view your history of update:]
    a. Open Windows Update by sliding into the right edge of the screen (or, if you are using a mouse, pointing to the corner bottom right of the screen, move the mouse upward), touching or clicking on parameters, typing or clicking on Change PC, then type or by clicking on update and recovery.
[ b. press or click on see your update history.]

The question could arise if the specific update makes changes in the Windows network properties and the update package has been damaged. Other important reasons include the firewall from the security software, third-party software conflicts etc.

In order to diagnose the problem, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Method 1: Troubleshooting of connection Internet run.

    a. press the Windows key + W key on the keyboard.

    b. type Troubleshooting in the "search" tab and press enter.

    c. click show all on the left panel.

    d. click on Internet connection, will new popup window.

    e. follow the instructions on the screen.

Let us know the results performing the Troubleshoot utility.

    Method 2:

Reset the DNS and TCP/IP settings.

    1. Press the Windows key + X.
    2. Click prompt (Admin).
    3. Please enter the following commands and press ENTER after each one.
      NETSH INT IP RESET
      IPCONFIG/FLUSHDNS

Restart the computer to check the issue.

If the problem persists, refer to the following method.

    Method 3:

Temporarily disable the security software and check if it helps.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most

cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Cannot access internet after upgrade to version 3.0 and Windows 7

I went through the complete upgrade of the merger of the VM (to 3.0) and Windows (from XP to 7) and it was not without problems (mainly memory), I finally got to work. And it works very well, much more quickly than VMF2/XP, with one important exception: I can't connect to the internet via my wifi network.

I tried all different network settings in VMware Fusion, and he always says that I'm connected (virtual machine / / network cards / / parameters). However, when I try to actually access the net, it does not find the network and none of the 'troubleshooting' tools help me.

I'm a bit frustrated because Windows 7 works fine in VMware Fusion 3.0 with the above exception.

    Any ideas?

    THX

It is possible, that you must change the type of operating system, and then remove the network card curent and then add another.

To change the type of OS, go to the Menu bar > VM > settings

On the left side there is a drop down... Make sure that it matches the version of windows that you have (Windows 7, 32-bit or 64-bit)

Then go to the network pane, select the virtual NETWORK card on the left and remove it by clicking on the '-'.  Then, simply click the '+' to add a new.

  • Cannot access BIOS after own Win 7 installed on the new HD

The machine is HP Elite E9240F. Here's what I did.

1 replace the plant HD with faster player - went well

    2. clean install Win 7 on new drive - activate - went well

3 reinstall the disc supplied with the box in the first place & format - went well.

Now everything starts fine, and loads of Windows. NO problem BUT I cannot access the BIOS more. Not that I need at this time, but I would like to know that where I did it, I could.

Repeated F1 or F11 at startup pressure will produce the black screen for the Windows Boot Manager.

I removed the CMOS battery and retried - same results. I can access the blue screen when I select the boot sequence by pressing ESC but never can I go back in the system BIOS.

    Thoughts?

All these systems are a bit different but F10 to enter the bios to me.  If it is your PC then F10 to enter the bios: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01925486

  • I cannot access internet Windows XP.

    Hello

My name is Tommy and I need help. My desktop computer shows that it is connected to the internet, but when I try to use any application that requires the internet (IE, firefox, chrome, League of legends, etc..) I get a 'connection error' / Web page isn't reachable. Internet works on my parents and my sisters computer, so I don't think it's a problem with the router (even if they're using wifi). My firewall will not turn on either. I tried a reset winsock, but to no avail.  I ran a few antivirus scans and eventually find a sitting trojan.muldrop in my System Volume Information folder, and I deleted it with by Dr.Web CureIt. After the removal of the virus, my computer will still not access the internet, and I can't turn on my firewall. Please help if possible!
    Thank you!

  • Lose the ability to access Internet after Windows updates published in the last 24 hours

I lose the internet connection if I install the Windows updates published in the last 24 hours.  I have had access to the internet after restoring to a restore point.   I was able to recreate this problem be reinstall them again.

    Update the example is KB2121546

    Manually install a - alone.
    Reset.

    Still have Internet?

Manually install the next one, one.
    Reset.

    Still have Internet?

Repeat this until you lose Internet or have installed all updates - what comes first.  If you lose Internet - uninstall that one and install all others (using the same one at a time - at the most method you will have 8-9 for this cycle) then come here and let everyone know what update was kill your Internet connection.

Why?  An update of the example is of no help.  There are 9 updates you could possibly have * if * you were aware through yesterday.  Knowing the SPECIFIC update that is causing your problem would be better for you and those who help you.
