  I assume you are using IMAP. Probably the easiest solution is to create two folders: one for person1 and person2. So when one of them reads and acts on an e-mail, they can move to the Inbox to their own folder. This way you still have emails, but do you know who worked on all of them.

You can, however, achieve the same effect: for each account, right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. On the general tab, uncheck the include this account when receiving mail or synchronizing. CTRL-Shift-O should open the Options sheet.

  I was able to find a configuration that worked:

  Incoming mail server: put your mail server normal but specify port 143 for Imap

  Uncheck the incoming SSL

  Outgoing mail server: put your mail server normal but enter the port 587 for Imap

  Uncheck the outgoing SSL

  Uncheck the box outgoing server requires authentication. (because Mail first checks the email, your server will allow you to send an email)

  After this configuration, save it, and then come back to check, since the first time I did it, he returned some settings, but after switching between them, it was ok.

  After doing this, messages have been sent and no more will not questions. I hope this helps.
