  var/log/VMkernel.log on the host is not clear to me... but if someone asks I'll stick.

  What should I do more? I want only add 3 esxi servers at VMAs and the next time you connect to these esxi without putting password.

  Interesting, that's when I deployed the next vMA02 and VM03, I can only add an esxi to vMA. During the second and third esxi adding that generate the same mistakes... Now I have 1 vMA for each host ...

  Please on the suggestion and help... because my adventure with vMA is not good... the last time I was the problem with this vMA 5.5 the session is not authenticated after connect you to the target ESXi and not solved this in my second lab...

• VSM - cannot add PS Series group

  I have the Dell Equallogic Virtual Storage Manager loaded on my VMware client... When I try to add my group PS, I enter the IP of the group, the user name and the password, and then click Add.

  Then I got an error message: unable to connect to the host. Please enter a valid group or IP name.

  Must my vCener device be on the same subnet as my Equallogic 6000?  I have all my devices iSCSI on their own subnet, vCenter is on my production server network.

  Anyone know what they represent? The container is specified as a string that represents the OU or the group. If this can simply be the name of the ORGANIZATIONAL unit or that it does not require the full path? Is the name of the account user name or display name?

  You have not indicated how you plan to run the workflow... If you run just the client or a Webview, you are prompted for the object and you can use the Chooser to browse for and select the entries...

  However, if you call an external system, it becomes more difficult... the common approach is to create a simple workflow that gets a user by name object or another object by name... For example, if I want to get an AD object: User for the account name bazbill, I would do something along these lines:

  Create an action called getADUserByName and use the action in a workflow:

  I worked on setting up ssh and realize that until the user can connect, it will have to be added to the administrative role.

  Since I tried this, but every time I add and click OK and return the user has not been added to the role.

  I managed users in the past with the.app. After a long period where no changes are made, I am trying to add a new user using the.app.

  I am trying to add a normal lokal, (not a user directory). App server tells me that I have enough rights to add a user account. I am the admin of the server and checked it with the 'normal' user admin application

  Does anyone have a clue what goes wrong and what to check to find the problem?

  One thing you might check is if you are authenticated to make changes in the directory utility

  First open Server.app then choose 'Tools' in the top menu and then open "utility directory.

  Click the icon of the directory editor

  in the first drop down choose: look at a "users".

  the second drop down menu choose: in the node "/ LDAPv3/127.0.0.1".

  Then click on the padlock and enter the user name and password for the admin directory, it will probably be different from that of the server admin account

  You will need to get the domain whitelist for the users e-mail address so that you are able to add the user.

  Please send a request to e-mail account of the administrator and the users e-mail address you are trying to add to the email address that I've private messaged you. So that you support the team can whitelist the domain of the e-mail address that you are trying to add.

  I created a new single-edition iPad app and ready to build the application with DPS APP Builder and submit to Apple.

  When I go to DPS Account Management, to add the user (Adobe ID created especially for this project), I get this alert that the user could not be added.

  My guess is that I should have added this Adobe ID, until I started to build the folio.

  When I try to compile the application since InDesign Folio Builder... Create the App, it seems that I need to activate the application with a serial number purchased.

  How can I get this to work with my business account Folio?

  You have encountered a weird problem with the administration of the accounts. When you check an Adobe ID to work with DPS, you make actually main account and you can not convert a master account to a delegate account. It is why the error message tells you to create a new account. Of course, this means that you need to transfer the folios of the Adobe ID of origin to the new account you choose. After you have created the new delegate account, there are two ways to do this:

  * Create a new folio in the new account and import items. It works well, if your folder structure is configured correctly and that you are using a sidecar.xml file.

  * Create a new folio in the new account. and share the folio from the old account to the new. Then use the command copy to copy items on the new folio.

  Also, with a business account, it is best to avoid using the method Create App to publish a folio. Connect directly to the DPS App Builder using an Adobe ID with a role of DPS App Builder. Create the App is primarily intended for users of simple editing.

• Open Directory: Cannot add users remotely

  I have questions, adding users to Open Directory of the Server app. It happens when I connect to the remote server, not when I'm on the service computer itself.

  After adding a user, I get:

  Operation is not supported by the node directory.

  I looked around here, and all I saw was an ambiguous statement to verify the certificate of the AO. OD now creates a code signing certificate when I create a master, but under Server certificates, it does not use it, and I can't assign this certificate to the OD service. Only certificates that I can attribute to the OD service are a self-signed certificate, a class cert IV checked (StartCom) 2 and the proverbial 'none '.

I'm not an expert on VMWare, just a passionate curious tech. I found VMWare to be a very exciting and easy to use product. The VMWare knowledge base is excellent and so is the community of users.

  I have install VMWare ESXi 6.0 free House on servers Dell T420 and T110 II. I recently tested vMA 5 by installing it as a virtual machine on one of the servers. I watched the tutorial Youtube how to use vifp to add servers. I have network etc. on vMA installation and it works fine. Automatic update worked. I issue the command sudo vifp addserver 192.168.250.96, I am prompted for the password. When I enter the password, I get an error error: cannot add users. I checked the log file in /var/opt/vmware/vma/vifpd.log and the more descriptive message is:

  addServer: error occurred when adding users for 192.168.250.96... roll back. An error occurred during the creation of users on 192.168.250.96

  Then I noticed that since I'm on the console vMA to run these commands, as soon as the error occurs, I see that in the lower part, under recent tasks, I see an error: General system error: weak password. The details of the error says:

  Now my password is strong enough. I can't post it here but I'll post a similar password:

  It is 14 characters and has the numbers, letter uppercase, lowercase letters and special characters. I read the VMWare documentation on passwords and for me, the password seems very well. Any help will be appreciated.

• Cannot add permissions for users Active Directory - the directory access error

  VCenter, connected as long as user with administrator privileges on the server, Active Directory running I am can be used to add permissions for domain accounts and just get errors:

  Right-click on the data center & gt; Add authorization & gt; Select read-only & gt; Add users and groups & gt; Select the domain & gt; (the list is NOT populated with users)

  Among users, enter my account of user AD & gt; Click on check names & gt; "The following names are not found: xxx".

  Enter the AD user account in the search box & gt; Click Search & gt; "A general system error occurred: directory access error.

  The only son I can find or KB articles relate to the modification of the period of Active Directory.  I did, but it did not help.

  The problem that I had was related to what service vCenter services were running as.  No doubt during the installation (for some reason that escapes me now) I had configured the VMware VirtualCenter Server and VMware VirtualCenter Management Web services run under the local administrator account.  Change these so they ran as system Local solved the problem, and then I have a list of domain users and assign them permissions.

  read only user cannot add new users/groups in the administration console. The administrator credentials can be provided to that user. It just has to be able to connect, go to security domains > myrealm and add new users and groups. nothing else.

• To understand how users and groups in vCAC 6.0

  I would like to help you understand how to add users and groups.  How can I add normal users and user groups to vCac to consume the items in the catalog?  I don't want to do these users administrators, I want simply to connect and to be consumers of the resources that we have Setup using the plans.

  I see two places to add users:

  (1) after registration as an administrator of the tenant, under the "Administration > groups | The users tabs", but it won't let me add administrative roles to these users or groups.

  (2) by the business group section "users >" however I can't seem to add any AD groups, only users one at a time.

  Where am I supposed to add these user groups and permissions that they need to have to run virtual machines?

  Our scenario is very basic.  We do not currently want applications to go to an approver until the virtual machine is running, we would like 'requests VM' automatically be approved and immediately spun. VCac using 6.0.

  You don't need to add users to your tenant, if they are in the identity store (AD, LDAP, etc.).  You simply allow their service, the elements catalog and actions with rights... However, they must be a member of a BG for payments.

  There is currently a bug where groups of users do not appear when you type the names of groups in the research - but you can still enter the name of the user group, and this group will become a member of the Group of companies.
